Marie, this waterfront property is only 2 minutes off Hwy 17 and leads down to the crystal blue and aquamarine hues of Lake Huron. South-facing and with almost 2 acres of land and 300 feet of shoreline, a wood-fired sauna sits at the water’s edge.
The beach is mostly sand, although some rocks do wash up, but just a few feet out, the bottom is all pristine white sand. Along the side is a creek, which is home to dragonflies, ducks, sandhill cranes, and sometimes deer.
Internet, electrical, and septic hookups are available. An outdoor dining table and chairs are provided, and kayaks and fishing gear are available upon request. The area is known for excellent backroad cycling and hiking.

Perfect spot! The views were amazing. The place was clean and freshly groomed. The neighbors were great, helped us with a few things and were very friendly. Great spot and an extremely happy with this Hipcamp. Shauna was very responsive and very helpful every time we reached out. Great stay!

The space was really beautiful and well maintained, it was a perfect little grassy meadow for my tent. The beach was just across the road and I had it all to myself both times I went - and the sunrise over Lake Superior is absolutely gorgeous!!

Ben’s lot offers the privacy of a woodland setting and is a very short walk to an amazing sandy beach with clear blue waters.
Ben offered us an extra night at no charge and we’re glad we took him up on his kind offer as we saw the most colourful sunset of the trip on our last night! We’ll definitely come back.

A short walk to the water across the road 20m at the most.
A great sandy shore to set up a chair or two and eat a meal.
Easy back into site that is level.
Very little traffic and if you want an easy meal the Voyageur camp ground.
Love the smoked fish and coffee.
