Galla Designs Studio is located on a lovely 22 acre farm on the oceanfront, 5 km from the ferry. It featurs a beautiful artisans storefront with over 60 local artisans, food items and coffee. It is also home to the Belle River Post office.
Please let us know if you need to arrive after 8pm.
Please see parking instructions as there is no turn around in the main driveway.
Also - the island has mosquitos so please bring bug spray.
WIFI is available at the store.
Please no generators from 10pm-8am (some exceptions may apply).
To find us Google maps sometimes does not like wood Islands as our city so please use Belle River. About 50m just west of our main entrance to the farm and store, you will see a farm road that is marked with "1167 FARM" address sign. Please use that road to come in and just after the little wooded section it will open up and you will see a picnic table to your right. You can park in there. If you need help with anything, just call my cell phone 902-326-1015 Please note that there could be another camper if booked, so please park accordingly. Store is located in the small white barn next to the white house. The black building nearest the camp area is my parents house - not the store, so plesae do not walk in there. ;) lol

We are OPEN despite the current issues. No fires are allowed due to provincial bans. Enjoy the quiet skyline and maybe even catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. Our grass lots are backed with lush Appalachian forest and leads way to a slow brook where you can wade with the tide or try your hand at fishing or simply sit by the fire and enjoy the solitude. Check in is self guided as there is no host on site but you'll find it simple as all sites, as well as the toilet area is well marked with signage. This doesn’t mean we aren’t here to help, you can reach us 24/7 via text.
We are Located just off the Acadian Coastal Drive and minutes from the beautiful Fundy shore. You can bring your tent, RV, van or camper and choose from 4 fantastic sites. 1-30 amp service, 2
roadside non-serviced as well as one privative forested site and 3 tent sites. All sites are equipped with a fire pit and access to our outhouse restroom. Wood is available for purchase if you didn’t bring your own! We are currently fencing in the entire property to make it a dog/cat and livestock safe area so pets can enjoy a safer experience . This will be done in stages so hang tight with us until this is completed.
You can also explore New Brunswick with a drive on Acadian Coastal Drive ·Appalachian Range Route · Fundy Coastal Drive · Miramichi River Route or Fundy Coastal Drive Stop by and visit Murray Corner Provincial park for a swim and watch the tide roll out.
Looking to see multiple provinces?? We are in the perfect spot to see all of what the East coast has to offer. View PEI’s spectacular Confederation Bridge from the shoreline and take a drive to PEI which is only minutes from us. Mainland Nova Scotia is less than a 30 minute drive and if your adventurous and want to drive the Cabot Trail then you can reach Cape Breton Island in under 2 hours! Catch a Ferry to Newfoundland if your heart desires.

We have a van, we are pretty self contained and we have our own Luggable Lu, so we used ours and not theirs. The spot was wonderful, peaceful with lots of room. The directions were easy to follow and the host communicated effectively. The traffic noise was bit surprising at times but it did not take away from the tranquility of the location. We would recommend this spot for sure.

We were lucky enough to be Bryan’s very first guests at his pond-side apple orchard, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. We came for the horses, and they didn’t disappoint — my cousin even got to feed and brush them, which was a real highlight.
Bryan was a fantastic host from start to finish. His communication was quick and clear, he helped us get our RV perfectly parked, and even had firewood waiting for us. The property tour was fascinating — Bryan has such great stories about the land, and it’s clear he’s a true steward of it.
If you go (and you should), don’t miss the pizza oven, take the tour, and meet the horses. Just watch out for the mysterious “unseen” cat, who prefers to keep to themselves.
This place is more than just a campsite — it’s a warm welcome, a beautiful setting, and the kind of stay you’ll want to tell your friends about.

Stellar views of the Northumberland Strait! We enjoyed a quiet night here and found some treasures at the shop! Fairly level site, no problems getting in with our Class C. Trish was awesome communicating with us and we really felt welcome. We toured some lighthouses and went to Fleece and Harmony to buy wool yarn. Couldn't have asked for a nicer stay.
