I’m truly glad I discovered this place. My friends and I found so much more than we expected. The Mitziville team was incredibly welcoming and accommodating — thanks to them, I was able to organize a surprise birthday celebration for my husband and bring together our big group of friends. We were absolutely thrilled with our spot: a spacious area with several fire pits, a provided toilet, and picnic tables. It felt private and peaceful since the nearby sites were set far apart. It’s one of those rare moments when you stumble upon a hidden gem. The nature was stunning, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. We’ll definitely be back — our group has been looking for a place like this for a long time

Compared to most campground sites this is a nice private spot. The quiet river makes a beautiful view and I appreciated the free kayak available with the site. Check in was easy and friendly. There is a public area beside the site which meant there are occasionally people near by but it wasn’t a problem. At other times it was very quiet.

Cindy’s land was private quaint and so beautiful!! It was nestled in the wilderness away from noise and light pollution, and the sky lit up at night time with millions of beautiful stars!! The host was awesome helping us set up even and letting us know about all the local festivities!! Everything we needed was just a quick drive away for fun or resources like our furnace breaking lol We can’t wait to go back again!!

We loved camping at Mitziville'sland. It was our 2nd time this summer. The camp sites are big enough for 2,3 tents. Our kids love the beach and water activities. ( kayaks, paddle boats included) There is also nice trails for hiking. Shower on site. About 30 min away from Huntsville.. Definitely recommend and we'll be back.

Weekend Trip to Brennan's Hill Camping and Cabins

We had a fantastic long weekend at Brennan's Hill Camping. The place is so beautiful and well-maintained. You can see the attention to detail and to offering of a good experience in each part of the campground. The sites are sufficiently private and have a good size. The bathrooms are very, very clean, and the shower works perfectly. Kim is an amazing host and a wonderful person. Communication is great. She was patient and understanding when we arrived later than expected for our check-in. She lent us extra sleeping bags when we were too cold the first night because we were underprepared for the temperature, and she shared her energy and laughter whenever we visited the office. The campsite is so quiet and beautiful that we ended up staying there most of the time, rather than following our initial plan to go hiking every day. The day we left the site to explore, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful lakes near the campground. We had the opportunity to take a look at the cabins, and they are comfortable and well-designed! We were sad to leave - and we will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our two night stay in the Hairy Foxes site! Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Very friendly and helpful management. While we couldn't have a fire on our site, the communal firepit was just steps from our site. We enjoyed meeting the other campers and the manager kept it well stocked with nice dry hardwood. The bathroom was a work in progress but was immaculate with new fixtures and shower. The night sky was stunning. We will absolutely be back!

We rented a trailer at Kim's campground, and the amazingly everything was tidy and clean and Kim responded promptly to our requests, it was just three of us and we rented a 6 person trailer, ample space, equipped with heater and fridge lots of lighting. Kim's attitude was friendly and assuring that if you have a problem that can be addressed she will attend to it. She had a stargazing activity set up for everyone. I strongly recommend this camp ground. P.S: the power outlets don't work in the trailer and for you to be able to charge your phone you sould have 12v plugging.

Great campground. Site is quiet and away from the centre of the campground. Close to the beach. Campground is close to great trails. Lots of dirt bike and quad noise all day so if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and serene this is not the campground for you.

Weekend Trip to NORTHERN ESCAPE CAMPGROUND

We had such a great time at this campsite. We would book back here in a heartbeat. It was exceptionally clean and the property is well cared for. We had a couple other friends at the neighboring sites and we all had a great time around the communal firepit. They provided the wood and a hose nearby to ensure that the fire was put out safely before we all went to bed. We are all planning another trip at the same time for next summer!
