This location is close to the head springs and Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park where you can discover the wild side of Florida with endangered Florida panther, red wolf, manatee and whooping crane, plus black bear, bobcat and, of course, alligator.
The site is located 150 ft from the dock on our private residential property at the head of the springs, the dock is not visible from the site you do have to walk down to the dock area. This is a residential area and is very quiet. You can see the layout of the property in the photos from an aerial view as well as other photos of the setup.
This listing is for the SITE ONLY. Setup your own RV under the shade then enjoy our shared dock with direct access into the Homosassa springs for a refreshing dip or paddle. We provide full hookups (water, sewer, 50amp electric) for your RV as well as WIFI service and access to the docks for your boat or swimming. We have kayaks and paddleboards INCLUDED with our site or bring your own to paddle the springs and take a chance at seeing a manatee up close and personal or catching some fish. This location is close to the head springs and Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park where you can discover the wild side of Florida with endangered Florida panther, red wolf, manatee and whooping crane, plus black bear, bobcat and, of course, alligator.
The site is located 150 ft from the dock on our private residential property at the head of the springs, the dock is not visible from the site you do have to walk down to the dock area. This is a residential area and is very quiet. You can see the layout of the property in the photos from an aerial view as well as other photos of the setup.
This listing is for the SITE ONLY. Setup your own RV under the shade then enjoy our shared dock with direct access into the Homosassa springs for a refreshing dip or paddle. We provide full hookups (water, sewer, 50amp electric) for your RV as well as WIFI service and access to the docks for your boat or swimming. We have kayaks and paddleboards INCLUDED with our site or bring your own to paddle the springs and take a chance at seeing a manatee up close and personal or catching some fish. Great great host very accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay there. He and his family made me feel like part of their family and their property. Anytime I needed anything. He was always there to help out and make helpful suggestions. We really enjoyed feeding his animals and thanked him for saving them. He runs a rescue for animals that are unwanted. He allowed us to feed his animals.
I’d also like to mention his wife Carla, who is also awesome and if you or your significant other is in need of a great manicure or pedicure, she was able to do that for us during our stay we thoroughly enjoyed that part of our stay. Getting your feet pampered is always a bonus during camping.
Thank you again Arcadio and Carla for your friendship and allowing us to stay on your property with our RV, we had a great time and we will definitely come back

We had a wonderful group tent camping trip with 6 families. The owners and staff were extremely attentive to our needs and responded quickly when we needed more propane and when we had an issue with the propane fire pit we had rented (due to a fire ban). The restrooms and showers are wonderful, and our kids loved the Keurig coffee and hot chocolate. The free-roaming horses and donkeys are charming for a bit, but can get annoying after a while. The farm tour is fun and definitely worth the time. The land is beautiful and spacious, and a good variety of Florida topography to explore. Highly recommend this property for its beauty, facilities and staff.

We had a lovely stay at Misty Morning. We were welcomed on arrival, and Louise and Michelle helped us get set up! After a tour that our kids just adored we settled in for some food and a nice quiet evening. Thank you for the grill it was just what we needed. The outdoor shower was refreshing also.
The next day we talked for over an hour before departing. Lovely kind hosts and a special spot.

Rob and Mike have a beautiful property and our family had a great time! The bathroom and showers are very clean and modern without losing the rustic feel. The horses and donkeys are so friendly and came right up to our tent camp site.
Mike made sure to give us a tour of the ranch and we were able to pet their goats and miniature horses. We saw some other cool animals too!

Our second HipCamp. Have done many camps over the years County run State Parks etc. This place is clean, well kept with up close horses and donkeys. Great views, hiking through Stands of Cypress with all the knees. Also mostly private. The Host Mike and Rob intend to please and make your camping experience awesome.
