Now owned by a mother and son we are restoring a century old barn, growing our own food, and milling our own lumber.

Her new dog Thunder was an absolute joy to be around. We were lucky to see Sterling again this year as well. You really don't need for much when you stay here. Trailer is very well equipped with the things you'll need to cook meals. Lorwell lake is stunning! Very clear clean water, great for swimming and kayaking. We absolutely love staying here!

This was our second time at the Princeton this summer and we loved it just as much as the first! Way fewer bugs in August compared to June, which was a nice bonus. It’s such a great spot with kids. There was tons to do at the beach, fun trails to explore, and a few play structure options. We also went out on the canoe and paddleboards, which was awesome to have right there to use. The beach on the river offers a sandy area to play and the water is shallow enough for the kids to explore on their own out to the buoys. The trailer is spacious and has everything we needed for our few days away. The hosts are friendly and responsive, and make sure we have everything we need. Highly recommend for families or anyone wanting a Q peaceful getaway!

This is a sweet little spot. The waterfall and river are epic. Loved relaxing in the comfortable hammock too. The glamping tent is spacious and well kept with a comfortable bed and all the extra bedding one might need. It’s nice to have the shaded outdoor sitting area that’s screened in. We did not use the sauna, but the shower is ice cold- just a heads up- no warm water. The tap water is excellent drinking water. The compost toilet situation is about what you’d expect- definitely no frills. While the fridge and laundry did not work at the time we were there, Neil was accommodating by providing daily ice and offering his machine. He was very responsive to all communication and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Meech Creek Falls is our new favourite getaway! Neal is a wonderful host, very friendly with a detailed tour to help us feel at home and make best use of the space. Very private and quiet, with amenities that are as creative and charming as they are convenient. We loved how easy it was to spend almost every moment out of doors enjoying the beautiful surroundings. This is a setup where you won't have to worry too much about the weather, as it would be quite adaptable to different conditions. The waterfall is not just beautiful but tons of fun to climb and explore, with a few great spots to wade in for a swim and sunny banks to rest on. Tent was cozy and clean with a comfortable mattress. Sleeping to the noise of the falls cannot be beat. We will be back for sure!

We loved our stay apart from the fact that it was very very hot du ring out trip, small curtains in the Windows would definitely help! If we had known, we would have brought something to put in the windows to block the Sun to enter, escpecially in the morning. Everything was clean and there is everything you need for your stay. It's a great peaceful place to enjoy and relax. We appreciated being able to go to the two nearby national parks, Silver Lake and Sharbot Lake. The owners are kind and accessible.
