And if you like to prepare fresh fish-based dishes, Mosque Lake has great trout and perch fishing. If you like to follow the winds of winter, take a pair of snowshoes available at the cabin and go across the lake and have a winter picnic. Set up your fishing shack outside your door, open a hole and fish! *Winter roads require an AWD or 4WD vehicle to access Juniper Cabin. Parking is available on-site for all guests. If you bring your boat, there is parking for your trailer as well. *Power outages due to storms are always a possibility in cottage country. Typically, power is restored within a few hours if this should happen. Cottages will be stocked with candles and flashlights for guest safety. *Internet/WIFI access is available at the property- connect to our WIFI and work from the cabins. * If you’d like to bring your own boat, there is a free boat launch on the lake, and we can support docking your boat. -- In case of emergency, the nearest hospital is: Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital, 33 Drummond St W, Perth, ON K7H 2K1 Guest are welcome to bring their own firewood. The first crate of firewood is included with your stay, and each additional crate is $5. (There is no running water or electricity). We are stocked with all bedding, towels, dishware, tea, coffee, and a French press! You'll find a BBQ and camp stove for cooking on the deck - there's no fridge, but a cooler with ice packs will be provided. Battery packs are here for charging cell phones and laptops (with USB-C and USB). The tiny home comes complete with rechargeable lamps, battery powered lights, potable drinking and washing water, and WIFI! Consider this the most indoor camping experience you can have and still be out in the woods! You'll want to be comfortable with making a fire and keeping warm in the winter months! The tiny stove will keep you warm on the coldest winter days, but you have to keep it going. :) In the winter months, we'll get the stove started to warm everything before you arrive (and provide you with kindling and wood). When cleaning out the ashes in the stove (if necessary,) please use the metal pail outside and place the ash-filled pail back on the concrete blocks. Please note that there is no other heat source. Check out Mill Pond Conservation Area for great hiking about 15 minutes away! Maybe Rock Dunder Nature Reserve for hiking and AMAZING views? (30 minutes). Check out Rideau Ferry Beach (Yacht Club Conservation Area) for public swimming on Rideau Lake nearby the tiny house! Looking for bikes/kayaks/canoes? There's lots to do nearby - hiking, swimming, boating, ATV trails, art studios, and much more. This is not only a rental property, it is a place to gather with my own family and friends. You may find personal mementos spread around and some artwork from young family members adorning the walls. Make yourself at home, feel free to use a board game, borrow a book to read during your visit, and use any spices or other kitchen ingredients you find in the cabinets. You can soak up the sun by the beach, picnic in the shade of our willow trees or try your hand at a game of horse shoes or for the avid fishermen Ferguson Lake has pike, largemouth bass and walleye. We are a 25-45 minute drive away from Logo’s Land, Calabogie Motorsports Park, 5 golf courses (Dragonfly, Renfrew, Calabogie Highlands, Oaks of Cobden and Whitetail), hiking destinations, ATV trails and numerous other lakes and rivers.

And if you like to prepare fresh fish-based dishes, Mosque Lake has great trout and perch fishing. If you like to follow the winds of winter, take a pair of snowshoes available at the cabin and go across the lake and have a winter picnic. Set up your fishing shack outside your door, open a hole and fish! *Winter roads require an AWD or 4WD vehicle to access Juniper Cabin. Parking is available on-site for all guests. If you bring your boat, there is parking for your trailer as well. *Power outages due to storms are always a possibility in cottage country. Typically, power is restored within a few hours if this should happen. Cottages will be stocked with candles and flashlights for guest safety. *Internet/WIFI access is available at the property- connect to our WIFI and work from the cabins. * If you’d like to bring your own boat, there is a free boat launch on the lake, and we can support docking your boat. -- In case of emergency, the nearest hospital is: Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital, 33 Drummond St W, Perth, ON K7H 2K1 Guest are welcome to bring their own firewood. The first crate of firewood is included with your stay, and each additional crate is $5. The firewood is self-serve and we ask you to simply let us know how much wood you have used during your stay, or leave the appropriate funds on your table at check out. Guests are responsible for removing their garbage and recycling from the cabin and bringing it to the garbage shed. This was our 2nd time coming to Iris's property. We've agreed this will be an annual trip for us. Iris is so welcoming and kind. We love getting to chit chat with her during our stay. Her new dog Thunder was an absolute joy to be around. We were lucky to see Sterling again this year as well. You really don't need for much when you stay here. Trailer is very well equipped with the things you'll need to cook meals. Lorwell lake is stunning! Very clear clean water, great for swimming and kayaking. We absolutely love staying here!

My partner and I had an awesome time glamping for a week in the starlight dome/yurt. Any critiques/improvements that we might have seem to be things that are already being addressed in the ongoing construction that appears to be in the final finishing stages. The host is friendly and accommodating, and she can always be found on the grounds in case campers have any questions or are in need of assistance. Our bed was comfortable and our grill was so easy to use! Floating on the coulonge river was a highlight. We'll be back with friends!

This was our second time at the Princeton this summer and we loved it just as much as the first! Way fewer bugs in August compared to June, which was a nice bonus. It’s such a great spot with kids. There was tons to do at the beach, fun trails to explore, and a few play structure options. We also went out on the canoe and paddleboards, which was awesome to have right there to use. The beach on the river offers a sandy area to play and the water is shallow enough for the kids to explore on their own out to the buoys. The trailer is spacious and has everything we needed for our few days away. The hosts are friendly and responsive, and make sure we have everything we need. Highly recommend for families or anyone wanting a Q peaceful getaway!

Such an impressive homestead that Jennie and family have created. Beautiful, quiet farmland with so many ammenities to choose from. I was traveling through on a road trip so it was amazing to find a place outside of the city to stay that was peaceful, beautiful and quiet. I enjoyed the Leo cabin with my dog and Jennie and family were very welcoming and accommodating. They set me up after a long day of traveling with a great sauna and cold plunge with great touches like eucalyptus and camomile tea. I enjoyed a quiet fire afterwards which set me up for a great nights sleep. I would highly recommend a stay at Agape Gardens!"

Great experience! The camper was comfortable and well appointed. Two kayaks and a canoe meant fun on the water. Firewood was amply provided. But the best part was how welcoming Iris and her crew (including Thunder, her doggo) made us feel so welcome.

Iris’s hidden gem at Lorwell Lake is nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. Iris is a wonderful host—thoughtful, friendly, and always happy to share a story. We loved our little chats with her. Her RV was spotless—clean and cozy. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The peacefulness of the area was exactly what we needed. The quiet surroundings, tucked away by the lake, made it feel like our own private slice of paradise. We absolutely loved kayaking on the calm lake and swimming in the clear water. And we can’t forget about Thunder—her gentle giant of a dog. He stole our hearts! Such a sweet companion who made the experience even more memorable. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with an amazing host, this is the place.
