Our family has farmed this land and cut our firewood in this forest for many decades. Our father built the log cabin by hand from cedar logs from our home farm in the secret clearing in the woods we always loved as children. Now we want to share this special spot with you.
Enjoy our secluded forest glamping experience designed for families or small groups who want to unplug and reconnect. This private glamping site features a geodesic dome and rustic log cabin, offering comfortable beds, peaceful surroundings, and space to gather without crowds.

6 nights at Wildwood Nature Escape
My partner and I had an awesome time glamping for a week in the starlight dome/yurt. Any critiques/improvements that we might have seem to be things that are already being addressed in the ongoing construction that appears to be in the final finishing stages. The host is friendly and accommodating, and she can always be found on the grounds in case campers have any questions or are in need of assistance. Our bed was comfortable and our grill was so easy to use! Floating on the coulonge river was a highlight. We'll be back with friends!

Great spot for a little family get away! Fantastic for adventurous swimmers with the water steps away. Swimming from the docks to the rapids was lovey and hours spent searching for blue crayfish! It is pretty private, but also important to remember it is a busy campground as well. The host was fantastic and very responsive!

Weekend Trip to Wildwood Nature Escape
This place was amazing! My husband and I went here to have a little romantic getaway for our anniversary :) the property is still being built up but you can see there’s a lot of love put into it and they will have a sauna and cold bath soon too! The edge of the water is a little bit challenging to hang out in because it’s steep but they put two floaters anchored in there so it’s perfect for a little dip / relaxation if needed. We stayed in the sunset dome which had sunset right onto it so we got sunlight right to the end peaking through the trees it was beautiful. Had a big deck, bbq, personal fire pit. Really great! Genevieve was also really responsive and helpful! Definitely recommend :)

Weekend Trip to Wildwood Nature Escape
Wildwood retreat was an absolute treat! Easy to get to from Ottawa and a nice 2 hour drive. Her retreat is immaculate. The domes are so well done, clean and organized. Our private barbecue was the cleanest I’ve ever used in an accommodation like this! All the little touches were well thought out. Each had a private privy as well. All the accommodations were nicely spread out where I felt private and not in anyone’s way.
