We are OPEN despite the current issues. No fires are allowed due to provincial bans. Enjoy the quiet skyline and maybe even catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. Our grass lots are backed with lush Appalachian forest and leads way to a slow brook where you can wade with the tide or try your hand at fishing or simply sit by the fire and enjoy the solitude. Check in is self guided as there is no host on site but you'll find it simple as all sites, as well as the toilet area is well marked with signage. This doesn’t mean we aren’t here to help, you can reach us 24/7 via text. We are Located just off the Acadian Coastal Drive and minutes from the beautiful Fundy shore. You can bring your tent, RV, van or camper and choose from 4 fantastic sites. 1-30 amp service, 2 roadside non-serviced as well as one privative forested site and 3 tent sites. All sites are equipped with a fire pit and access to our outhouse restroom. Wood is available for purchase if you didn’t bring your own! We are currently fencing in the entire property to make it a dog/cat and livestock safe area so pets can enjoy a safer experience . This will be done in stages so hang tight with us until this is completed. Absolutely beautiful! What view! It's an off grid camping spot in the most beautiful area. There is an outhouse that was clean. Dan was quick to respond to any questions I had and check in to make sure I was okay or needed anything. That view though is everything. I would wake up looking out at that view everyday if I could. Also had 5g out there which was nice to still be connected. I will definitely be staying here again.

We surprised my parents with a stay at Bootsie Back 40 Cabin for their 40th anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect! The hosts went above and beyond with every detail. The cabin itself is so cozy and welcoming, surrounded by stunning fall colors that made the whole experience magical. My parents loved the peace and quiet — they spent their mornings sipping tea while listening to the birds sing. The hosts were wonderfully friendly and even took photos of my parents for me, which was such a thoughtful touch. They also got to visit the farm animals (including two emus!), which they absolutely adored. Thank you for helping me give my parents such a memorable and heartfelt experience. This will be a trip they’ll cherish forever!

This property is 100% worth going out of your way for! We spent two nights, and unfortunately there was a fire ban and cloudy sky’s that obstructed star gazing, but even then waking up to the view from campsite 1 is spectacular. I didn’t see campsite 3, but 1 and 2 are both amazing- was able to get level with blocks in 24 ft. rig. The place is well marked on the road and it looks like the driveway has been recently graded- easy in our vehicle. Dan was very responsive. Would absolutely return, and if it were campfire weather- I’d spend multiple days relaxing there for sure! There is a road down to the water and rocky beach where you can watch the amazing tides roll out. If you’re on an open journey- worth spending some time in this spot and area.

Just wow!!! The hosts are beyond awesome. They have worked very hard to create a unique and awesome space to camp/ relax and they have certainly achieved it. The setting is pure magic and they couldnt be more welcoming, everything you need is there for easy and fun camping. With incredible swimming, mountain biking, hiking, and Bay of Fundy near by its a wonder this place isn't reserved months out in advance. Do your self a favor and go visit this beautiful campsite in a pristine valley. We stumbled across it on our way home from a trip up north, now we have a new favorite spot, we will for sure be back. It truly is about as good as it gets for camping!!

What an amazing view! Dan was an excellent host - very responsive and helpful. He even drove my husband up to the site before hand so he could make sure it was doable for our rig. We are a 34' long fifth wheel and with the truck we are 50 +/- feet. Dan even escorted us 3 or so miles west on the main road (NS 209) so we could turn around and approach the driveway coming from the southwest because it was tight for us to turn in from the northeast. The gravel/reclaimed asphalt driveway is well maintained, but there is one pretty steep section. We made it up with no problem with our Ford F350 in AWD. Dan even mowed the site (Campsite #1) wider than normal knowing we needed some room to turn around and we had no issues with that either. The site was very well maintained, large, very private and there is a bonus outhouse, fire pit and the wood pile was well stocked. We chose not to have a fire because it was pretty windy and it had been dry there. You can walk the farm/logging roads for miles including one that goes down to the waterfront. It was fairly low tide when we did it so we could walk a long ways. We highly recommend this site!

Where to go

Shediac

The self-proclaimed lobster capital of the world, Shediac is a fun little town that’s close to the white sands of Parlee Beach Provincial Park and famous for its 90-ton lobster sculpture. Parlee Beach attracts a younger crowd and often has a party vibe as a place where you can chow down on great seafood, swim in some of the warmest ocean water in Canada, or take a tour on a lobster boat. A number of camping sites sit in and around Shediac, including within Parlee Beach Provincial Park.

Fundy Shore

Bestowed with the world’s highest tides, the entire Fundy Shore is an adventurer’s dream. At Hopewell Rocks, you can walk the ocean floor among towering red flowerpot rocks, or kayak around them at high tide. Hike the rugged coastlines that rise into the highlands at Fundy National Park, then set up camp at one of many private campgrounds in the area, or at one of the park's tent sites, RV spaces, yurts, or oTENTiks.

Miramichi

Fly-fishing mecca Miramichi is a quaint town offering a range of Acadian and Indigenous cultural experiences, tubing on the Miramichi River, learn-to-fish programs for adults and kids in nearby Doaktown, and some neat camping opportunities that include treehouse camping.

When to go

New Brunswick is best visited in summer and fall, as the weather can be unpredictable outside of those times and you’ll find it difficult to find operational camping spots. Even still, Moncton is a fully functional city year-round, and visitors can experience much of what it has to offer even in the dead of winter should you want to check it out in the cold and snow.

Know before you go

Moncton and the surrounding area host many fun festivals, including Shediac's lobster fest in July and Moncton's arts week and live dance music festival in July. Check dates in advance of your trip planning to either check out the events or avoid the crowds they bring.
Once you get outside the city, cell service can be patchy. Get a good sense of where you are going before setting out.
French is commonly spoken in and around Moncton, and as New Brunswick is a bilingual province, you’ll see signage in both English and French.
