The 8KM river float is an intermediate level float and may not be suitable for young kids as there is a section that needs to be walked to avoid a dangerous area. We also have a field to ride any quads or dirt-bikes around. Its very basic riding conditions, but still fun for young kids!

It has a lovely forest area, alongside sprawling fields that are dotted with beautiful wildflowers throughout Spring and Summer. Another delightful feature of our home is a swamp that displays a spectacular array of bird wildlife in the spring and early summer. A bird watcher’s dream! And, if you are lucky, you may even see deer, beaver, bear, coyote, Marmot, or Western Painted Turtle roaming the property, all have been seen on the farm at one time or another, so keep your eyes peeled!
We are close to amenities but are far enough out of town to provide a quiet and restful retreat from the hum and drum of every day life.
We are popular for family reunions and specialty gatherings such as card or game tournaments.

Launch your floaties and spend the afternoon floating down the picturesque river, but please bear in mind the river conditions vary throughout the year. The 8KM river float is an intermediate level float and may not be suitable for young kids as there is a section that needs to be walked to avoid a dangerous area. There is other options for shorter floats upstream and end at our property. Please ask us for more details.
We also have a field to ride any quads or dirt-bikes around. Its very basic riding conditions, but still fun for young kids!
As well there is lots to see in the area including 2 waterfalls and Mable lake provincial park all within an hour drive.

Located in the north Okanagan 5 minutes from Armstrong and 15 minutes from Vernon. We recently bought this charmingly rustic old farm property and are in the exciting process of bringing it back to life. Our address is 1945 Otter Lake Cross Road, Armstrong.
It has a lovely forest area, alongside sprawling fields that are dotted with beautiful wildflowers throughout Spring and Summer. Another delightful feature of our home is a swamp that displays a spectacular array of bird wildlife in the spring and early summer. A bird watcher’s dream! And, if you are lucky, you may even see deer, beaver, bear, coyote, Marmot, or Western Painted Turtle roaming the property, all have been seen on the farm at one time or another, so keep your eyes peeled!
We are close to amenities but are far enough out of town to provide a quiet and restful retreat from the hum and drum of every day life.
We are popular for family reunions and specialty gatherings such as card or game tournaments.

Nestled in the woods, our site provides a shady escape from the 30-40 degrees Celcius summer Okanagan heat. Cross the bridge into your own private Oasis. Trees are shelter and homes to various birds. Walk down the path to your own private creek access, bring a book and relax in a chair by the water and take a dip in the refreshing creek.
Note: This site is not accessible by car. You will need to park in front of the bridge, wagons are provided. If lots of rain is forecasted please bring tarps, there are plenty of trees nearby to devote too. There is a powered covered cooking/eating area. You may use the bbq and gas burners at no charge. Drinking and potable water is provided.
This site uses a composting toilet with bags that will need to be removed after use and disposed in the appropriate location.

We had an amazing stay over the New Year and absolutely loved this place. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, thoughtful, and attentive, and the tour of the guesthouse and property was a great touch.
The property is stunning and the guesthouse was larger than expected, which was a lovely surprise. The wood fireplace created the coziest vibe, but the real highlight was the wood-fired hot tub — tucked into the forest beside the rushing river, surrounded by fairy lights and total quiet. Cold dipping in the river and then warming back up in the tub was pure magic!
Meeting the horses and dogs was also a bonus, and the location is the perfect balance of feeling remote while still being close to town. We’d happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone!
