When guests are seeking to soak up nature and wildlife, you won't need to leave the property. The seventy-five-acres, include, pine and larch forests, wetlands and trembling aspen groves. Trails wind through the different areas allowing for photo opportunities. You are welcome to say hello to our horses, our chickens and our sweet golden retriever. We are happy to have canine guests; however, for the safety of our resident pets, we require prior approval. The property has many resident squirrels and chipmunks. Other wildlife, such as Whitetailed deer and moose pass through regularly. Occasionally a bobcat, lynx, bear or elk venture through.

Learn more about this land:These unique barrel cabins are situated overlooking our gently sloped South-facing valley, rural organic farm and (soon) nano-brewery, 1.6km from Jewel Lake outside of Greenwood BC. There are shared outdoor kitchen, gravity feed ambient temp shower facilities and composting toilet outhouses at the cabins as well as more facilities and WiFi at the main house. Gourmet meals available if book ahead of time and at additional cost. We speak English and German. Family friendly. The cabins are simple and comfortable as well as unique, they are also rustic. Besides a comfortable bed and small convertible seating area in each one, they are bare bones. No power or water. There is a propane heater available for colder season bookings. The heaters work off of normal BBQ propane tanks (20lbs) or 1lbs disposable tanks. We have clean, dry composing outhouses beside each cabin. There is a propane BBQ on site. No smoking inside any cabin or house and only in designated area. Butts must be disposed of into garbage. Dogs are permitted but must be controlled at all times as this is a working farm with livestock. All dogs must be cleaned up after.

Although Okanagan nights cool down effectively, we have used science and shade in designing these rooms to dissipate heat. We provide fans and evaporative coolers when needed and offer our guests plenty of ice (provided in an insulated picnic chest) for those delicious summer drinks and storing food during your stay. Our country style welcome has guests coming back. Ask us about interacting with animals, our farm produce, gold panning and sluice box in Lucky Strike Creek, hammock rentals, E-bike rentals (Grandfondo runs right by our property), endless hiking, and more!
