We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning. Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway. We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas. There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

Glamp camping is open until the end of September. (we provide everything except your food, drinks and personal items!) Enjoy the beautiful acres right on the Chilliwack River! A wonderful family-friendly (including pets!) getaway with endless activities nearby. (no pets allowed for glamping) Our campsite is available in the spring and summer and is just 20 minutes from the city of Chilliwack, BC. We provide a fire pit and campfires are allowed as long as there is no fire ban. The sites are quite private but there will be other campers nearby. We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk. We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. There is no cell reception, but we do have wifi. Potable water is available. We supply natural spring water but you must bring your own jug. We live in an adventure playground! Activities nearby include hiking, white rapid river rafting, fishing, watching bald eagles, Cultus Lake water slides and adventure park, mountain biking, and more! The Bell Tent is set up and ready to use. All you need to bring are your sleeping bags and sleeping mats or mattresses. In a cedar grove, nestled among the ferns, a lotus belle tent awaits you. A unique bed and breakfast in an off-grid tent. Had an amazing time renting Christain’s Belle tent. He was extremely helpful and accommodating. We appreciate him making sure we had enough blankets and offering a gas fit pit. Highly recommend, will definitely come back.

When the lights come on at night, the vibe is magical. I had a cozy night by my propane fire and enjoyed the sound of the river!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Riverside Glamping. The hosts, Lisa and James were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The site was exactly as described and all we needed to bring was food and personal items. The site itself was gorgeous and private. The yurt was beautifully done and very comfortable. It's a really great place. The host was also very kind, and the atmosphere of the harmonious family was particularly nice. The glamping site has everything, and the shower and toilets, which were of great concern, were really clean. The glamping site was full of romance and the host was kind. The disadvantage is that the network doesn't work, but it's slow because there's Wi-Fi, but Internet access is possible. The bathroom is clean and the glamping site I thought was to sleep in a poor environment for a day, but this place was so nice! +) It's a pity that I couldn't say hello to three pugs in the morning. My friend and I really loved this place. Facing the river view. The set up is reallly cute and cozy and they have everything prepared. Although the day we went was pouring but it was a really relaxing for us… The hosts are super friendly and nice !!!! I would love to come here again on the days that are not raining !!!

I loved glamping on Lisa and James’ land! They are wonderful hosts, and I felt very welcome and comfortable during my stay. The property is beautiful - right by the river with mountain views you can enjoy from your private deck. The tent was amazing too! It’s set amongst the trees, which provide perfect shade on a hot, sunny day. I had everything I needed to cook, relax, and enjoy myself.

We loved our time on Christian's stunning plot of land! The common kitchen area was well stocked and a fantastic place to socialise with the other guests. The tent we rented was very spacious and a perfect place to rest at the end of a beautiful day in the area. Christian was very accommodating with our requests such as lending us his portable toilet and was fun to hang out with around the fire pit in the evening. Would definitely recommend and consider returning!

Weekend Trip to Woodland at The Shamba

This property felt very private for us! There’s a 2 minute walk down the trail to the tent area, pretty easy to get your stuff there if you’re used to trail walking. Lots of fresh fruit and granola bars provided for us! The toilet is very simple but clean and fine for a couple nights. We brought all the necessary camping equipment minus a tent and sleeping bags. You will need outdoor chairs, a stove, cooler and other camping essentials. This was pretty obvious given the description and reviews so don’t be shocked when it’s just a bed and table! Overall we really liked the area and the tent and bedding were clean and very comfortable, had a great stay!

The tent was as beautiful as in photos. It’s equipped with everything you need, from fan, to heater, and even head lamps. The mini fridge even had a small freezer space. The river right across is amazing, we were even able to catch some rainbow trouts. The hosts were very welcoming as well. Will definitely come back!

4 nights at Woodland at The Shamba

Mielle was a wonderful host. The land was peaceful and lush. The bell tent was clean and spacious. A few things for future visitors: The forest is quite humid so the tent has a slight musk smell. We had one exceptionally hot day during our stay and that dried out the tent enough to clear the air but otherwise it is a bit damp. Not unpleasant enough to bother us but slightly noticeable. Also it is definitely an off-grid tent which is wonderful for those who want to unplug. The host is also very generous and gave us access to a trailer they have on the property that had a flush toilet, electricity and running water. Some things to note: the tent site is a short distance from the parking so you’ll have to pack in and pack out. There is a ravine in the middle so if you are bringing in a lot of supplies for camping, this will take some time. This site is better suited as an eco-bed and breakfast than a camping site as there is no picnic table, which makes cooking and food preparation challenging. Still, as campers we made it work. Also worth noting, the composting toilet is actually a bucket but as mentioned, our host gave us access to a trailer with a flush toilet. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend this site to others.

My son and his friend had such a fantastic time staying at Brent and Sherri’s campsite! From the very start, Sherri and Brent were incredibly helpful, friendly, and extremely accommodating. Their communication was amazing — always quick to respond and willing to answer any questions. They truly went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. The boys especially loved having kayaks available to rent, which became one of the highlights of their trip. They had so much fun out on the water. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out, and my son couldn’t stop talking about how great it was. I would 100% recommend staying at Hayward Farms, we will definitely be booking with them again. Thanks again for everything !
