10 acres of natural beauty in the mountains. The property is covered in wildflowers and has idyllic views over Yellow Lake and the similkameen valley. Deer, hummingbirds and marmots are frequent visitors. Feel free to roam the property and take in the beautiful scenery. There are 4 lakes within a 1-5 minute drive for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming. There are many oppurtunities for hiking. Twin lakes golf course is 1 minute away. Also a 1 minute drive is Twin Lakes store which offers liquor, good coffee, baked goods, an ice cream bar and gas. 15 minutes to Penticton. 10 minutes to Kaleden. 15 minutes to Keremeos. The reason this is listed as RV only is because we have no washroom available, however if tents would like to accompany an RV there is plenty of room to do so. RV 30amp outlet available.

For those bringing RVs, this property can accommodate vehicle lengths up to 45 feet on mostly grassy surfaces. There are no hookups, and generators are not allowed. Campfires are okay as long as there are no fire restrictions in place. The property does not offer a toilet or other amenities, but it does provide plenty of space, soft grass, and mountain scenery. Popular activities nearby include tubing down the Shuswap River, visiting the only outdoor drive-in movie theatre in British Columbia, hiking at Enderby Cliffs Provincial Park, and driving about 30 minutes south to Vernon to explore Okanagan Lake. There are hot showers and flush toilets for guest comfort but require a short walk to access. Campfires are banned but we provide propane cooking and living utensils. Embrace off-grid with minimal cell service and no wifi; instead allow nature to fill you. Although Okanagan nights cool down effectively, we have used science and shade in designing these rooms to dissipate heat. We provide fans and evaporative coolers when needed and offer our guests plenty of ice (provided in an insulated picnic chest) for those delicious summer drinks and storing food during your stay. Our country style welcome has guests coming back. Ask us about interacting with animals, our farm produce, gold panning and sluice box in Lucky Strike Creek, hammock rentals, E-bike rentals (Grandfondo runs right by our property), endless hiking, and more! The Klinker Opal Property is located in the mountains approximately 40 kilometres by road from Vernon, BC, and is situated at an elevation of about 1500 metres above sea level.All trips to the Klinker Opal Mine leave from a pre-designate site, and you must have your own vehicle. No transportation is provided. Pre-registration is required! Digging trips operate from mid June to mid September weather permitting. The property is readily accessible by most two wheel drive vehicles but parts of the road is very rough.
