When guests are seeking to soak up nature and wildlife, you won't need to leave the property. The seventy-five-acres, include, pine and larch forests, wetlands and trembling aspen groves. Trails wind through the different areas allowing for photo opportunities. You are welcome to say hello to our horses, our chickens and our sweet golden retriever. We are happy to have canine guests; however, for the safety of our resident pets, we require prior approval. The property has many resident squirrels and chipmunks. Other wildlife, such as Whitetailed deer and moose pass through regularly. Occasionally a bobcat, lynx, bear or elk venture through.

Looking for something a little different? Our Lotus Belle Tent offers a 'glamping' experience, tucked amidst a cedar forest on 5 acres of private land, situated under Sentinel Mountain. Located 15-min from Castlegar and 24-min from Nelson, there is great access to a variety of outdoor adventures, fabulous dining spots and connecting with nature.
The Lotus tent is suited for a solo traveller, a couple, or two friends who don't mind getting cozy together. We cannot accommodate pets or children.
The Outback Lotus Belle is a 16ft canvas tent with 200 square feet of standing space. The tent is incredibly water resistant and the zippable screen windows and doors allow for great ventilation on the hotter days, while keeping the bugs out. You'll be pleasantly surprised with the cozy comforts provided inside the tent to make your stay comfortable. You'll have access to your own parking space within a close distance to the tent. There is a bathhouse just a short walk from the tent, where you'll find a composting toilet, handbasin, off grid hot water shower and potable water tap for your private use. An outdoor covered picnic table, fire pit and lounge chairs are also available for your use.

Beautiful place, we are hoping to come back and explore the area a lot more. Wonderful hosts. Beautiful cabin and beautiful land. Song Bird Ranch is the perfect name for the ranch.

2 nights at Cedar Forest Glamping
Beautiful spot! It was so quiet, peaceful and clean. The tent was gorgeous and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was great, a little different but well built and tucked out of the way. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone else.

What a beautiful place! Lara Is a great host and the property is something people dream of. I would recommend this to anyone. Fire, horses, chickens and 10min from Baldy ski resort, and tons of hiking all around. Please if you want some quiet time under the stars contact Lara. My wife and I of 20+ years will be going back.
