Golden Ears Glamping is a forested riverside getaway that has has two types of stays (with only one of each) :
The Riverside self-contained Glamping Tent with outside soaker tub and the Cabin-like self contained suite with private entrance and hot tub .
Less than an hour from Vancouver and 1/2 hour from Surrey and just over an hour from YVR.
If you want to escape people, this is the place. If you want to experience nature in a safe setting, this is the place.
There is no where like this. We are in the middle of the forest, along an ever flowing river, full of life. You won't believe you are only minutes from town. Our motto is RELAX, REJUVENATE AND ROMANCE, this is what we strive to give you when you are a guest at Golden Ears Glamping. Fish, swim, hike, birdwatch, meditate, yoga at the river, float, etc, etc.
1. The Rivers Edge: a riverfront (Alouette River South) Glamping Tent that is elevated in the large cedars overlooking the river.
Personal kitchenette, full bathroom and outdoor shower.
Personal soaker tub for two under the trees.
We have one Glamping tent and is completely private and is away hidden from the main house but close enough for anything you request. We believe this is the ultimate in glamping experiences and you won't break the bank.
2. The Bear Suite: attached to the main house that has complete privacy. Private entrance, private hot tub for two, and deck with personal BBQ. and personal lounge area overlooking the natural pond and river..
Walls are double and ceiling is soundproofed.

This property was purchased nearly half a century ago. For the majority of this time the forest section you will be camping in was left undeveloped, apart from a few mountain bike trails. Recently, as a family, we have seen a large increase in the people traveling to the Sunshine Coast to escape the city limits. Unable to rock up to a campsite and pick our spot like we used to, it was easy to see a growing demand. We have taken everything we love about camping and done our best to give you a sense of what life on the Coast is really about.
Please note: By entering onto the property you release all liabilities towards us as hosts. You are choosing to camp in a forested area that contains many hazards as well as potential threats. These include but are not limited to; Wild life (bears, bob cats, cougars etc), Fire is a serious threat to this region during summer months strict no smoking policy is in effect. Care should be taken walking around uneven surfaces. All campers are required to stay within camp boundaries fail to follow these protocols will result in being asked to leave.

A lovely place to stay, would definetly come again! Carson and Joanne were such kind and welcoming hosts. We got to feed the chickens and learn more about their property and the bunkhouse. Well supplied kitchen and a cozy living space with a bunch of games (with Catan!) Can't wait to be back!

Such a wonderful spot! Had everything we needed and great details. We spent our time swimming and chilling listening to the sound of the river. Hosts were lovely, available and close by. We absolutely loved staying at Greg & Shelly’s! As we entered their very private driveway, It felt like we were going into a movie. There were cute little white figures hiding on the trees all the way to there house. And the tent was beautifully set up. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was tiny but had everything we needed. Outside shower was very romantic. It was great taking a warm shower in the forest. Private access to river was amazing bonus. Shelly and Greg were really really nice. We will definitely be back!

We came for some peace and quiet with our dog and that is what we got. Spacious, private site with shade, great kitchen/table set up, toilet and convenient location. The propane fire pit was worth the add on. Carson & Josh were great hosts and we appreciated the flexibility on check in/out. As clearly stated the short drive might be an issue for some vehicles and you may hear some road noise, neither of which were issues for us. Would happily stay again!

We had the most incredible stay at Cyle’s land. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, thoughtful, and just right. The site itself was quiet, perfectly maintained, and surrounded by nature, a true little haven.
What made the experience even more special was the personal touch. They took the time to come by and give us a little tour of their farm, which was not only generous but also made us feel truly welcomed and connected to the place.
They made sure we had everything we needed, checking in just enough to show they cared, but also giving us the space to fully unwind. You can tell they genuinely love what they do, and it shows in every detail. We left rested, grateful, and already dreaming of coming back. Thank you for everything

Private little gem. You have the place to yourselves, close to amenities if you need anything or want to go out for food. Walking distance to Sunday cider with amazing food trucks. Covered kitchen is all set up, different areas to put your tent or just lounge, some water supplied and fresh flowers.
