Enjoy camping beside the beautiful McIntyre Brook which is suitable for both swimming and kayaking or just kick back relax unwind and let nature work its magic.
We currently only offer one campsite so you have the place all to yourself. Guests will have access to a portable toilet throughout their stay.
Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided but please ensure you check any restrictions before lighting a fire.
For complete solitude, there is no phone reception at campsite
Pets are welcome to join you, please ensure they are kept under control and that they are cleaned up after.

Welcome to big sky country. Sky Camp is a family owned lifestyle property on the North West Slopes of the Great Divide, NSW, Australia.
Once part of a large land holding stretching from Bonshaw to Yetman on the NSW/QLD border, Sky Camp forms part of the Atholwood community, which has a population of around 89.
The area is known for its cattle grazing and gold prospecting, as well as its rugged terrain and beautiful native timbers.
Today the property, hosted by David and Gail and their four children, runs a mixture of wilderness retreat experiences, cattle, horse, sheep and goat farming and also produces organic Mediterranean carob (Ceratonia siliqua).
Visitors to Sky Camp can enjoy hands on small scale farm experiences with our beef and dairy cattle, goats, horse riding and Carob harvesting. We also offer nomadic bush camping, bush walking and wildlife experiences, or a swim in one of our billabongs and watering holes.
For those wanting a little more comfort we have a modern, offgrid 50+ couples cabin with full amenities.
Sky Camp is a home for, kangaroos, wallaroo's, echidnas, goanna's, emus and more. Popular among photographers, artists, couples and families, Sky Camp can also provide camping gear and equipment for first timers who are looking for a rugged tree change experience or retreat.
Sky Camp is situated around 30 minutes from the historic town of Texas. Nearby attractions include Goat Rock, McIntyre Falls, the Severn and Dumeresq River (Ideal for Murray Cod and Silver Perch fishing) and the Severn State Forest for those wanting to do a little wild pig, goat or roo hunting.

Ideally set between the Severn & Dumaresq Rivers and Pikes Creek. ‘Riversdale’ is a 4200acre working cattle and irrigation property located just below the Glenlyon Dam, 80km south west of Stanthorpe Qld and 65km west of historic Tenterfield NSW. Enjoy fishing, swimming and paddling around in the crystal clear water or just sit back and take in the spectacular views across Sundown National Park and the Mole River Valley. Be in two states at the same time, with the river the border between Qld and NSW. Enjoy the abundant wildlife in the region include an incredible array of bird life and even, on occasion, the reclusive platypus.
Go boating and fishing (with a permit) on the Glenlyon Dam. Explore Sundown National Park (10km away) or spend a day (or 2) visiting the numerous wineries, orchards and sites around the Granite Belt, including Giraween and Bald Rock National Parks.

A beautiful spot with considerate and thoughtful hosts. The Vet Shed is well provisioned with lots of handy things you’d normally have at home. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. Robyn was very responsive and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely come back with the family and friends.

Coolmunda Olive Grove was beautiful. Katie is welcoming and goes the extra mile for her guests. Toilet and shower facilities are immaculate. We had a platter, which was a nice treat and very reasonable for the size of the platter. We highly recommend.

Had an awesome time here even with the wet weather this weekend- the tent was still cosy and warm. Our host was super helpful and friendly, even gave us a buggy to explore the olive farm which was a great touch. The platter was epic, and we were given plenty of firewood to keep warm at night. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a chilled getaway with a bit of extra charm.

We had such an amazing time. The property is so well kept amenities were clean. Everything we needed was available on site and we are super happy with the customer service provided by Katie. She even gave us a tour of the property and left us a golf buggy to get around the property. The olive platter was delicious and the sunset was amazing. We will definitely visit again soon.

The Drover was simply amazing to get away to, we were only there for a night it certainly wasn’t enough to stay and enjoy it as much as we would have liked. But our one night was nothing short of perfect, Amanda has done an absolutely fantastic job at creating the perfect feel and vibe of their beautiful land. It was our dream little cabin we aspire to build one day for ourselves. Thank you Amanda we will definitely be back 😁

Our stay at Coolmunda Organic Olives was fantastic. Katie gave us a tour of the farm on arrival which we enjoyed. We were also provided with firewood for campfire and really enjoyed the stay with a very peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Definitely recommend the stay here!

We really loved glamping at the vet shed. It was very luxurious with all the amenities, linen, wifi, fully functional kitchen, fire pit and bbq. Robyn was very helpful and responsive to messages. We really loved the fire place in the back yard. There was even a washing machine for washing clothes. Everything was so well thought of to ensure we had a comfortable and luxurious stay for e.g the kitchen had Milo, coffee, hot chocolate, cornflakes, pasta etc. The fridge had sauces, milk, cold water. Bathroom was very clean and had top of the range amenities.
The view from the backyard is breath taking with the mountain ranges in the back ground and it was very private with no one around.
The glenlyon dam is near by and there are some fishing spots and river access areas which Robyn had mapped for us.
Robyn’s attention to finer details in making our stay extra comfortable is highly commendable.
Highly recommend the vet shed.
