YAY!!! We are very excited to be named as a finalist in the Australian Hipcamp Farmstay Award category for 2024. This award was based on camper reviews, high quality of experiences provided and 95% property wide recommendation rate for 2023. Our Facebook page is “Pringy’s Farm Balnagask” for the latest news, activities and new ventures.
Pringy’s Farm “Balnagask” is located 20 kilometres east of Moree, on the banks of the Mehi river. Escape off the grid and enjoy the peace and quiet the country has to offer. Our farm features beautifully manicured grass camping sites (as well as more natural sites) an abundance of wildlife, native birds and lots of fun farm animals. You can relax around your campfire in the evening, enjoy a special sunset, spectacular star gazing or some interesting nocturnal wildlife.
The farm is almost 200 acres which features sustainable pastures and plenty of animals to see and feed such as miniature goats, a donkey, Texas Longhorn cattle, chooks, rabbits, sheep and many more depending on the season and what is happening on the farm. We are happy to introduce you to the animals and share some information about them.
We have three crazy Tenterfield Terriers; Maggie, Bart and Beagle who will occasionally visit you for a cuddle or a sit by the fire. Your socialised pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times and campers must clean up after their pets.
What we offer.....
We offer animal spotting night tours (see Extras or ask your host) OR adopt and care for the farms guinea pig and rabbits for the duration of your stay. That’s if your parents agree!!!
Don’t miss the opportunity to try and purchase some unique handmade “Eurah” soap (indigenous ingredient) made on site by Belinda.
Farm produce is available when in season and abundance, this may include: - organic free-range eggs, fruit, vegetables and herbs.
A septic toilet and creative outdoor shower are within walking distance to all campsites for a small fee (see Extras or ask your host) otherwise your camp must be self-contained. Potable water is available. Firewood is available (see Extras or ask your host) or purchase on arrival.

We are currently working on several projects which include: - The Carapark Cubby and playground, The Dam Sunset Platform, Rustic Bath Soaker Deck, Graze boxes, Farm Tours, Express Driveway sites, Riverbank pergola just to name a few.
Things to see and do.....
There is plenty to see and do in the area including: - Tareelario Weir - access to water skiing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, a boat ramp and some excellent fishing, Pally Pub – the well renowned pub with great meals and friendly locals. And don’t forget the Pally Bush Markets – 4000 visitors held in March, July and October.
Visit the Moree Tourist Centre for information on - Waa Gorge National Park, local tours (Pecan, Cotton Gin and the Moree Town), Moree Aquatic Centre for the famous hot artesian springs, Moree Markets – first Sunday of the month.

Welcome to big sky country. Sky Camp is a family owned lifestyle property on the North West Slopes of the Great Divide, NSW, Australia.
Once part of a large land holding stretching from Bonshaw to Yetman on the NSW/QLD border, Sky Camp forms part of the Atholwood community, which has a population of around 89.
The area is known for its cattle grazing and gold prospecting, as well as its rugged terrain and beautiful native timbers.
Today the property, hosted by David and Gail and their four children, runs a mixture of wilderness retreat experiences, cattle, horse, sheep and goat farming and also produces organic Mediterranean carob (Ceratonia siliqua).
Visitors to Sky Camp can enjoy hands on small scale farm experiences with our beef and dairy cattle, goats, horse riding and Carob harvesting. We also offer nomadic bush camping, bush walking and wildlife experiences, or a swim in one of our billabongs and watering holes.
For those wanting a little more comfort we have a modern, offgrid 50+ couples cabin with full amenities.
Sky Camp is a home for, kangaroos, wallaroo's, echidnas, goanna's, emus and more. Popular among photographers, artists, couples and families, Sky Camp can also provide camping gear and equipment for first timers who are looking for a rugged tree change experience or retreat.
Sky Camp is situated around 30 minutes from the historic town of Texas. Nearby attractions include Goat Rock, McIntyre Falls, the Severn and Dumeresq River (Ideal for Murray Cod and Silver Perch fishing) and the Severn State Forest for those wanting to do a little wild pig, goat or roo hunting.

Weekend Trip to Pringy's Farm Balnagask
Pringy and Belinda have done a fantastic job in setting up this HipCamp. The 'funky little caravan' was clean and quirky and the camping spots are in a great grassy location by the river. There's a lot to love about this place, but we especially enjoyed the bird life, the everlasting daisies, and their cat Ralph! Pringy and Belinda were so friendly and went out of their way to help us. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We look forward to coming back!

Weekend Trip to Pringy's Farm Balnagask
Very beautiful and peaceful farm. We really enjoyed our stay in the mini caravan. Col and Belinda are wonderful hosts, very helpful and friendly. The place is quiet, with stunning sunrise and sunset views. The animal tour was fantastic and highly recommended! We absolutely fell in love with their cat Ralph!

I only had a quick overnight at the Funky Little Caravan while passing through, but wow — what a memorable spot. The property is peaceful and beautifully cared for, with thoughtful touches everywhere. Belinda’s handmade Eurah soap is a little luxury, and the firepit setup made for a perfect beer-at-sunset moment under the gums.
Didn’t get to try the shower, but it looked great — next time! Pringy and Belinda are warm, generous hosts and I truly hope to come back for a longer stay. This place has real heart.

We stayed in the funky little Caravan with our 2 year old. Absolutely beautiful spot, our son loved interacting with all the animals and seeing tractors, and the hosts are super friendly and helpful. Caravan was great and had everything we needed. Totally recommend.

The hosts are amazing. Very accomodating. Just meeting them makes it worth it. My kids loved them too. Then to top it off the animal experiences are great fun. When we were there they had ponies, a miniature donkey, sheep with lambs, dwarf goats, calves and friendly long horn steers. We had a wonderful time there. The water was amazing too. Pottable bore water that tasted great. Really hydrates you. If we are ever back through this way we would definitely stop here again.
