Stunning little farm. So much space to park the van on the hill, overlooking the dam and animals. The kids absolutely loved feeding and playing with the baby goats and lamb. The host Fiona is lovely. Would highly recommend!

Very nice view with an overall peaceful and relaxing vibe. Our daughter got to cuddle some baby goats, go for a paddle on the dam and get greeted by horses at the front door of the van with breakfast. Hosts were lovely as well.

Lovely peaceful location with stunning views. Lots of entertainment for the kids in the form of backyard tennis, kayaks and a pedal cat for the dam. My 11 year old was living his best life! Also loved driving in and seeing baby goats and a lamb and having geese and horses wonder through camp.

Absolutely loved Fiona’s Sunset on the Hill camp site. Rustic and perfect. Added bonus of a toilet if required and the visits from Charlie and Hazel very much loved by us all 🐴. We even had a go on the pedalo!

The view was absolutely beautiful, and the space was spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay , collecting wood for the campfire was a fun experience. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

Absolutely love this place.
Finally is very welcoming and is an excellent host.
Her land is beautiful! The sunsets on this hill are gorgeous.
Horses are happy to have a pat and be fed carrots by the kids.
Geese were walking around with their little babies and the dog paid us a visit too.
Free kayak and peddle boat to use in the lake. Kids Absolutely loved paddling and swimming. The kids were more excited about being at camp than exploring the local activities.
If you have a chance to stop here definitely do it. You won't be disappointed.

A wonderful farmstay

We lived our stay and extended it. Being greeted by the horses in the morning, the kids enjoying the kayaks on the pond, heaps of space and lovely hosts. A very nice stop in the area.

I loved sharing the hill with sheep, horses and geese and a few other campers. The views the firepit and watching the kids kayaking in the dam was serene. Also plenty to see and do in the area. I hope hill camping is retained after the caravan park is completed. And did I mention the very friendly and attentive owner, Fiona.

What a wonderful camp site - a large area with great views over the dam, lovely short grass. Lambing was under way with plenty of lambs and their mums, two horses, lots of geese and goslings. Hosts were lovely, friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back when we are next in the Denmark area.

Owner was friendly, good firepits, heaps of free firewood, mowed grass, no prickles, feee kayak and paddleboat use, bins provided, close to elephant rocks and green pool. Kids had a ball catching marron old school with a bit of meat on a string.
Ticked all the boxes.

Hosts were responsive. Booked last minute and they were able to accommodate us easily. Farm is beautiful and very spacious. You can choose your spot anywhere so you still have your privacy even if there were other campers on the site. Having a toilet and rubbish disposal was convenient.

Nice spot but a westerly aspect on top of the hill, ie not very protected. A couple of things; the toilet needs more regular maintenance and the owners need to restrain their dogs. One in particular, barked all day and most of the night. Plus it was a nuisance around the camp, always sniffing for food and peeing.

Wonderful farm stay on the hill. Plenty of space available for people to park up and make camp! Such a great vibe, heaps of farm animals; horses, sheep, cattle, geese and the farm dogs!

Sunset on the Hill was a great place to spend four nights. We had road problems and missed our first night, and that was no trouble for Fiona and Paul. There was ample space between caravans, and hence privacy was maintained. I will be stopping there on our return trip.

Highly recommend Sunset Hill, it is such a beautiful, peaceful location.
