We live on a picturesque 400 acre property, high in the Darling Range an hour north of Perth. The property overlooks Lake Chittering with sweeping views to the horizon. The native bush here is typical of the Darling Ranges, featuring Jarrah, Marri, Wandoo, Xanthorea and Banksia. Fed by the mighty Brockman river, the pretty Chittering Lake is almost completely obscured by vegetation. The lake features lots of birdlife including swans, wood ducks, spoonbills and wedgetail eagles. The Chittering valley has much to offer including scenic walks and local cellar doors. The springtime is full of the region's wildflowers, and if you're visiting around October don't miss A Taste of Chittering, the food and wine festival showcasing local produce. We have a number of campsites on offer for your relaxing holiday.

This is a small clearing in a large native bush block. Very secluded, calm and peaceful. You'll be surrounded on all sides by bush. The track in is a bit narrow so this is not suitable for anything larger than a small caravan. Picturesque 400 acre property high in the Darling Range an hour north of Perth. Overlooking Lake Chittering with sweeping views to the horizon.

This site is quite remote and private. You are the last campsite on the track at our southern boundary so there will be no other campers passing by. Behind you is native bush typical of the Darling Ranges (Jarrah, Marri, Wandoo, Xanthorea and Banksia) extending for about 1km north. Sweeping views to the south and west all the way to the city some 50km away. Access is along an all weather track that is slow going, about 3km off the main road. A good level site with light sandy gravel.

This great spot is on the edge of a cleared paddock, surrounded on two sides by native bush so it is well sheltered yet has an outlook onto an open area. Facing west for sunset views and plenty of open sky for star gazing. It has easy all year round access for all sizes of rigs. There's space enough for a dozen or more caravans. Come circle your wagons around the big firepit and enjoy a few days away from city life.

This site is nestled in agoungst the Jarrah and Wandoo, perched on a small ridge facing the south west. The valley below is populated with western grey kangaroos below a seasonal dam. The campsite is on a slight slope with easy all year access for 2WD. Probably not suitable for the bigger caravans but all others will be fine.

This is a fairly small quiet spot surrounded by natural bush consisting of mostly Jarrah, Marri and plenty of Grass Trees (Xanthoria). Suitable for a swag, tent or camper trailer. Not suitable for caravans as access would be a bit tight. Easy all weather access for 2WD vehicles across solid gravel. The site is fairly level so minimal leveling would be required for camper trailers.

On the western side of Reprieve Paddock with native bush on the northern side. 100m down the slope there's a small dam but it's usually dry for the second half of summer. Easy all weather access for any vehicle. This site is on a gentle slope so you if you have a van you'll want to be able to level it for a good sleep.

My dogs and I absolutely adore Andrew and Gina's property and am a repeat guest. Gina's sculptural additions are an absolute treat and I enjoy searching for any new works each time. The sites are incredibly spaced out so there's ample privacy and acreage to explore. And a big plus is the proximity to Perth. I'm in Joondalup and it's under 40 mins drive, making it an easy getaway. Highly recommend.

This is a great area - with a lot of space between sites - Andrew is a gem and so is the back bush - we will be back again very soon - clear instructions and directions plenty of peace and within an hour of Perth

Gorgeous campsite! Lots of space for the dogs to explore on and off leash. Great spot for the early morning sunshine. Felt very private and well maintained. Andrew was very welcoming and then left us to it for the rest of the trip which was perfect for us. Would recommend.

I loved tent camping at Chittering Acres, it was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Perth. Our camping spot was private and secluded and at night we saw plenty of stars. Our dogs had a blast also. 100% recommend.

Had another great weekend at Chittering Acres. Andrew is very welcoming and escorted us to a more appropriate site for our set-up. We were very secluded and had the privacy we wanted. Just so great to travel a short distance from Perth and feel so detached from city life in the bush. Thank you

This is the second time I’ve camped at Andrew’s property. The sunrise is beautiful on the ridge, and the campsite is quite expansive. I bet it looks even more gorgeous than it is during the winter. My family had a great time once again..Would highly recommend

Was meet by Andrew the owner at the piano, nice friendly guy arriving on his electric motor bike. Told me the area that I was to be staying and ask me to follow him. We go thru some gates and the land opens up into nice valley with fantastic views. Being summer the area is full brown colours, with wisps of green in tree lines. I follow Andrew to the Repreive north camp site, which looks down in the valley. I set my off road camper to make the best of the views and sat back and enjoyed the peace. The night sky was so clear and the crisp night air was refreshing. In the morning I wake up to look around and spot a family of Kangaroos grazing in paddock. Thankyou Andrew for sharing your farm with me.

Beautiful bush setting would be lovely in the cooler months with a fire. Chittering Areas is a lovely peaceful place with very private designated camp sites. Highly recommend a visit. There were kangaroo ticks at the site I was at, understandably there are families of kangaroos every day around, so daily body checks if there in the summer months are the go. All part of the bush experience. Loved my time there. Andrew is a great guy always there if you need him.

Absolutely loved this place. I booked Horse Paddock as I’m only a solo camper and don’t need much space, but this site was enormous and just went on and on. The set up area for a van/camper matches the description for a small booking, but if in a tent, there are a million and one places to pitch amongst the trees. I felt completely secluded and didn’t hear or see another soul. Andrew was a gem, friendly and full of beans and so flexible with check in/out times. Very easy drive from Perth. Also pleasantly surprised at the lack of flies given this time of year. Will 100% be back for another visit and look forward to visiting during cooler weather to have a fire, the pit was huge.

We had a wonderful stay at Chittering Acres. We camped in a tent at the Reprieve Sunny site, which offered stunning views of rolling fields, a refreshing breeze, shady trees, and plenty of space for our furry companions to run and play. Andrew was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay!

Andrew has been a great host, even with my late arrival. Very good with replies and very informative instructions to get there. I love the relaxed check out times, allows us to enjoy the mornings without the rush to pack and leave. Ridgeview north, is an awesome spot. Nice wide open space, nice flat ground that you can actually drive a peg in. Definitely will be back

This is our 2nd time staying at Chittering Aces, however a few years apart. I can't say enough about this place. Great hosts, scenic views and peaceful sites. We set up Friday afternoon and then enjoyed a nice camp fire, before the rains set in for the night. Although we were rained in on the Saturday it did not ruin the peace and tranquillity. Our 2 pups loved the freedom of being off the lead and exploring 😀 Will be booking again when it warms up.

Thanks Andrew for a terrific stay. Nice sunny spot with heaps of room for the kids to explore and play. Great to have a camp fire and way better than a crowded caravan park in 45 minutes from home.

We took our camper trailer for its maiden trip not to far from home and what a beautiful spot it turned out to be. From the drive in with all the weird (in a good way) and wonderful unique pieces of colourful art work to the unbelievable spacious camping spot it really was unexpected. We will definitely be revisiting this lovely place and for a longer duration next time.

Everything went well. The entire property is spacious, private and secure. All spots are a decent distance from each other. There is plenty of space to enjoy a comfortable relaxing time away from the rat race. If you're looking for a great experience without any hassle from the outside world, this is where it's at. Graham is a warm, friendly host who will respond to any questions within minutes if you require assistance. I highly recommend Chittering Acres.

Great fun for us all - including kids & dog. The driveway to site is fantastic with so many intriguing & beautiful sculptures, while the site itself is so quiet & peaceful. Lots of space for kids to explore!
