Welcome to Wildcroft Estate, a little piece of heaven nestled in the beautiful valley of Yea hills of Victoria. Where every moment feels like a slice of paradise. Our serene sanctuary offers an opportunity for profound inner rejuvenation, stirring dormant hearts awake. Spread across six hundred acres of pristine natural splendor, guests are invited to immerse themselves in the embrace of nature, camping beneath starlit skies and relishing the serene spectacle of sunrise and sunset. Venture into the wilderness to witness the dance of local wildlife in their native habitat, serenaded by the enchanting melodies of birdsong and the majestic call of stag deer roaring to a doe for mating. Our friendly equine companions are eager to share a carrot treat (under the careful supervision of our staff, of course). Wildcroft Estate is perfect for people who love hiking and anyone just looking for a getaway during the long weekends. You can escape here and catch sight of varied species of wildlife as the sun rises or sets. There are fire/grill pits on the campsites and man/woman toilets and showers. A rotonda for our guests as a communal area where you can enjoy a firepit while having a drink and a yarn. Dog-friendly dogs are allowed but on leashes. Horse riding, visitors who enjoy horseback riding are invited to explore the rolling hills and scenic trails of our property on their own horses. yards are available at an extra cost and a nice and early countryman breakfast can be arranged as well. Groups are welcome.

This is a secluded spot atop the hills of Wildcroft Estate, 508 meters above sea level, where an old shack stands, weathered by animals but brimming with character. The ambiance transports you to Italy's mountainous landscapes, with nothing but wildlife, trees, breathtaking views, and a night sky adorned with stars and the Milky Way. Accessible only by 4WD and with a tent for accommodation, this spot promises solitude, and a deep connection with nature. For those without a 4WD, we offer transportation to and from the location. It's ideal for seasoned campers who relish tranquility and seclusion. Remember to bring water, food, and other beverages, and an axe would be handy for gathering firewood from the surroundings, to be used only in designated fireplaces.

Sunday Easter Breakfast special! Deer watching hike at 6 am followed by a Sunday Easter breakfast. Bookings are required! Escape to the country, to the serene embrace of Wildcroft Estate, nestled amidst the undulating hills near Yea, Victoria. The Rv -tent sites are in a five thousand sq meter area called Grace's land. There may be other guests visible, but the sites are far away from each other to enjoy your own privacy. All guests will have access to communal toilets and hot showers just a 2-minute walk from the campsite. There are no hookups at the campsite, but potable tank water is available in the communal area. Spread across six hundred acres, our sanctuary is a haven for both domestic and wild creatures, from cattle, horses, and dogs to kangaroos, wombats, and an array of birdlife. Here, amid this harmonious coexistence, visitors can rediscover their connection to nature, meander along picturesque hiking trails, and bask in the tranquility of starlit nights. For the more adventurous, camping amidst our breathtaking landscape promises an authentic wilderness experience. Mostly accessible only with a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Please remember to be self-sufficient, leave no trace, and adhere to our fire safety regulations, with campfires permitted only in designated areas. **From November to March 2024, a total fire ban is enforced for the safety of all guests and the environment. We kindly ask visitors to respect our guidelines and the natural inhabitants of our estate, as well as to engage with our animals under the supervision of our dedicated staff. **Our retreat is not suitable for kids due to various safety concerns. Snakes inhabit the area, and about thirty dams/waterholes are spread over the property and sometimes surrounded by steep walls also the creek that runs through the property has some loose mud walls and can be extremely dangerous for unattended kids playing there. Our livestock is secured behind electric fencing which can also be dangerous for unattended kids. Additionally, there are large wombat burrows, and steep terrain along the trails, given these hazards, we are not equipped to accommodate young children, and there are no play facilities available. We prioritize the safety and well-being of all our guests and appreciate your understanding. **We offer groups (minimum of 5) guided wildlife walks led by experienced deer hunters (available in April with a donation to the guide, bookings required). For motorcycle enthusiasts, our property proudly highlights the "Cathedral of Moto Guzzi," featuring over two hundred privately owned motorcycles. Group visits are welcome with prior booking. **Explore the surrounding area's attractions, from local wineries to historic landmarks and scenic trails. Just a short drive away, the township of Yea beckons with its charming High Street, lined with shops, wetlands, and iconic buildings like the Beaufort Manor (1876) and Yea Shire Hall (1894). Savour a meal or a drink at one of the town's renowned restaurants or pubs after a day of exploration. **Every second Saturday of the month, Yea comes alive with the renowned Cruis Night, a beloved event where proud private owners display their extraordinary collection of vintage and antique vehicles. This vibrant gathering transforms the streets of Yea into a spectacle of classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles, offering enthusiasts and spectators alike a chance to marvel at these automotive treasures. **Nearby attractions are markets in Yea, Tallarook, Alexandra, Yarck and Mansfield (monthly or bi-monthly) National Trust-listed Trawool Valley Alexandra Timber Tramway and Museum Yea Railway Park Yea Wetlands and Mullum Wetlands in Mansfield Kerrisdale Mountain Railway between Trawool and Homewood **Conveniently located 1.5 hours from Melbourne and 2 hours from Bendigo, Wildcroft Estate offers a perfect retreat from urban life. We had a lovely and peaceful stay here. This was our ideal break from the city as it had all the amenities we needed and the only sounds were from nature. We explored the hiking trails on the property and were blessed with lovely weather. Our dog loved it here. It is a great place if you have a dog. Grace is very kind and considerate for her guests. Hot showers while camping were amazing! We will be back :)

Graceland is the perfect quick getaway from the stress of city life. The perfect setting among rolling hills filled with wildlife and all the modern comforts, hot water for showers and running water, to make even a first time camper feel comfortable. Our host and her husband were even kind enough to give us fresh eggs for breakfast! There’s amazing sunset views at the top of the hills that are a must see or if you’re looking to chill out there’s fire pits, bbq facilities all undercover with chairs and tables perfect for relaxing and reading or just enjoying the serenity. There’s no internet which makes it easier to switch off from the world and the entire farm is off grid so be self sufficient. There’s amazing food and coffee in the town centre of Yea which is only a short 15 minutes into town if you’re wanting a treat or lazy day off from cooking. Enjoy and rest your day and nights away!

We enjoyed our long weekend at Grace’s land. It is very convenient if you are riding the Great Victorian Rail Trail. Grace was super friendly and so was her dog spot. Toilets and hot showers were a bonus. A great place to relax would visit again.

The perfect escape

This was our first camping weekend away with our puppy and we couldn't have asked for a better place for it. Grace and her family have created such a wonderful space, perfect for relaxing, having fun and enjoying the countryside either alone or with the other guests if you fancy it. We took a walk up the hill to sit and take in the beautiful views while writing our vows, which is a memory we will never forget. The showers and toilets were great and the communal BBQ came in handy too. I would highly recommend Grace’s land to anyone, especially to those looking to take time away from their devices and truly appreciate the beauty around them. Thank you so much Grace, you'll be seeing us again!

What a wonderful spot to camp. We loved camping high up in the hills at the Hilton. Accessible only by 4wd it starts by a steep climb up the ridge with amazing views across Yea. Up top there is just you and mother nature, no toilets or showers but there is good phone reception. We were lucky enough to have some beautiful weather on our first night with clear skies and the stars and moon to light up the night sky. Originally we had planned to stay up there one night and come down to camp at Graceland but we loved it so much we stayed up top and spent 2 days hiking the hills and valleys of this huge property to see kangaroosand deer's with put two dogs a hikers paradise.

We loved camping at Grace's place. She is a lovely host, checking on us everyday, we went during Easter and we had some activities such as deer walk and breakfast. And in the end, she organized a trip to the top of the mountains in her property and the view was amazing. There is bathroom and hot showers. The campsite was great to see wildlife such as kangaroos, birds, deers and a part of the horses and livestock she raises. Only recommendation: bring your own potable water

Grace’s Land was the perfect spot for our Easter weekend camp trip to the High Country. We had the best time relaxing, switching off and soaking up serene countryside views by day and spectacular starry skies by night. Grace is a warm, welcoming and friendly host who goes above and beyond to make sure her guests have an amazing camping experience while staying in her land. Highly recommend!

Camping at Grace’s land was a fantastic experience. The surrounding hills are amazing and there was such a nice atmosphere. Grace gave us a great weekend with a range of different experiences. From the deer spotting and meeting the gorgeous Friesian Pinto horses. We loved the Easter breakfast and the sunset four wheel drive trip. We will definitely be back. Thank you Grace for sharing your beautiful farm with us.

Stayed during the Easter long weekend. I loved the place n the host Grace was friendly n helpful. Learned quite a lot about horses 🐎 at her ranch. Clean toilets n shower giving you the comforts you need. There were about 14 campers in the campsite, but you had the privacy given that camping area is huge n had quite a distance from each other. Attended the Easter bf as well. Yea is only 15 km drive, n drove down to Broadford motor cycle track, to watch a track day.

This was a gorgeous camp site with views out over the hills and not another person in sight. Lovely birds and kangaroos. Definitely one for a 4WD but worth the view from the top.

Grace’s land was the perfect spot for a rejuvenating trip - the big open paddock surrounded by hills, the shaded area with furniture to eat/rest on, the clean toilets and shower facilities, the most gorgeous sunsets, and the friendliest horses and dogs! Additionally, as a solo female camper I felt safe. Can’t wait to come back next time.

The campsite is nestled in a picturesque location, surrounded by breathtaking hills. There was plenty of space for our tent, and the setup felt private yet welcoming as we had the whole campground to ourselves. The facilities were well maintained and clean. Grace was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Not only did she ensure everything was in order at the campsite, but she also recommended some amazing nearby towns to explore. These little side trips added so much charm and variety to our adventure, and we wouldn’t have discovered them without her suggestions. Highly recommend this place. Will surely be back again :)

Grace was the loveliest host, making sure we were enjoying ourselves and pointing out the best places on her property to explore. We met her horses who were so sweet and also one of her dogs, Sport. He was a great host too and did his morning and evening rounds to make sure everyone was happy and to steal a belly rub- a very good boy. Thankyou for having us, we had a very relaxing time and enjoyed exploring. We would love to come back.

Campsites were well spaced out and private. It was beautiful to wake up to the view of the hills, and the horses were a special treat. Grace checked in on us and offered assistance where we needed it. An amazing stay!

Grace was such a gracious host. The area is beautiful, and the amenities clean and well organised. We booked on the day we left Melbourne, for a four-day long weekend and Grace had no issues with that. There weren't too many people there, and they were quiet and respectful. Lovely to see all the dogs getting along. Grace is a horse breeder of Friesian horses, so there are lots of beautiful horses nearby. Grace's partner has an amazing Moto Guzzi motorcycle museum. If you are interested in motorcycles (or museums), ask to have a look. He is very knowledgeable and generous with his time.

Extremely friendly and welcoming host (and dogs!). Basically a huge paddock where you can pitch your tent wherever. The amenities block (toilets and showers) were fantastic as well, and not too far to the shops at Yea. The perfect spot if you have a dog - or even if you don't!
