WD Heritage Acres is a place steeped in history and charm, dating back to 1880 when the homestead was first established. Over the years, the property has undergone thoughtful restoration to preserve its timeless beauty. The homestead, originally built in 1880 and expanded in 1904, stands as a testament to a bygone era. Surrounding it, you'll find a traditional garden that reflects the heritage of the property. Our small farm is home to a lovely herd of Angus cattle and a flock of cheerful chooks, as well as numerous other friendly pets. The historic ambiance extends beyond the homestead to our property's unique buildings. These include an 1880 log cabin blacksmith shop, an 1880 log cabin fowl house, a 1904 workers' cottage, and a 1904 shearing shed. As you immerse yourself in the past, we invite you to bring the present with you. Guests should be self-contained with their own toilet and shower facilities. Please be mindful to take all waste with you when you leave. Furry friends are welcome, but we kindly request they remain on a leash. Campfires are encouraged in the fire pit, adding to the rustic and welcoming atmosphere of WD Heritage Acres. Come and share in the history and homely ambiance of our beloved property.At our campsite, you'll find yourself just a short, pleasant stroll away from the main homestead, a mere 70 meters at most. The campsite offers serene surroundings with the presence of ancient trees and the historical 1904 Shearing Shed nearby. There's an option for water supply from the Irrigation Channel, provided via a hose. While it's not suitable for drinking, it's perfectly fine for all your other needs. This location offers tranquility in abundance, ensuring a peaceful stay close to local amenities and attractions. However, do bear in mind that guests must be fully self-contained with their own toilet and shower facilities. As a responsible camper, please take all waste with you when you depart. If you're traveling with your furry companions, feel free to bring them along, but kindly ensure they remain on a leash during your stay. Shearing Shed

Was an absolutely amazing place to visit , from the hospitality the scenery , the amazing people who own the property and more. from the moment we arrived we felt welcome we where taken on a tour of the property and got an insight on how life works on a rural property it was amazing to see , the pool area and all the animals where a hit with the kids and everyone had an amazing time , such lovely people and would recommend anyone to go and stay here. We will be visiting again for sure.

Shearing Shed

I’m self-contained, so all I needed to know was what I did need to bring/use in order to set up for a beautiful Riverina sunset. Ian’s photos were clear, as were the instructions for arrival. Ian was also rapid to respond to the query and the booking. I look forward to my next Hipcamp. 🙂

Great place to stay.

Shearing Shed

Great spot for the van nice and level easy access with great open sky views, no neighbours in sight and easy to get out and the area. We primarily stayed to visit the Kyabram Fauna park with is only 10 minutes down the road. Our Host Ian greeted us on arrival and showed us around and gave us some history on the property. Highly recommend a stay here.

Shearing Shed

I had a weekend event in Kyabram and the farm was perfect. The hosts were very helpful but not intrusive. As a solo female camper I felt very safe and comfortable. Beautiful night sky's, gently mooing cows and contented chooks - no dawn wake ups!
