Thus camp looks exactly like the picture!
What you don’t see in the picture is that the paddock gas knee high grass, making it impossible to put down any ground sheet & what’s worse there are hidden obstacles in that long grass - fence posts, rusty fence wire, slashed stumps from small trees etc. needless to say there was some damage to our vehicle thanks to the unknown that was not visible (not good!)
I don’t know a lot about farming but I’m not new to them either & I have camped at a few so I believe it could be better, as are others,..this one could be spectacular if it was maintained better. The most stunning scenery! Also the bush flys (December) will drive you batty! So bring a face net.

If you love fishing, Andrew's farm is where to go. His site is like front seat to a beautiful event such as fishing. Andrew and his wife are very accommodating. The only feedback for improvement that I could share are clearer signage as we ended up at the wrong site. It would be good if new planks can be installed on the old wooden bridge, perhaps slightly wider for the Caravan to cross over without worrying about its width. Overall, I give it 10/10 for the beauty and serenity that the place offers if you're looking for a peaceful place to relax. Just note that you need to be self sufficient for off grid camping. Mobile signal was not an issue. No TV reception unless you have a more sophisticated set up. But we didn't mind missing out on this as the call of the river is more inviting. Water supply and dump point are available at Forest Park in Orbost near the Brewery behind the info centre.

Disappointment is, waking up on the final day of your holiday knowing you have to leave such an incredibly beautiful and amazing place 💔
My husband and I have always loved Marlo but always stayed at the campground in town, never again! Snowy River Frontage is absolutely incredible! Waking up each day right next to the river, perfect location for SUP'ing and a short boat ride to Marlo Pub - what else could you ask for?
Andrew was a fantastic host, friendly and outgoing and took the time to give us a lesson on the local sea vegetables!
Only one small bit of feedback is that for a location with no facilities it is quite expensive, especially compared to other river sites we have stayed at. I had been wanting to stay here for over 6 months but put it off until we had a group of 4 to split it to justify the cost. I would be back for longer stays if this was the case.

Andrew and his family made us feel at home from the moment we arrived till the fair well drink before we had to leave .
We stayed 8 nights on the property after only booking 5 nights ,
The kids loved camping on the water , the older kids kayaking to Marlo to get lollies from the general store ,
Fishing was excellent once pointed in the right direction from Andrew and his boys catching bream to 44 cm from the property water edge and salmon of the back beach ,
Beautiful sunsets and so many places to see and entertain the kids ,
We had some ruff weather the first few days but with the support Of family allowing us to use the shower and stay a night out of the weather in there workers cabin was very much appreciated.
We Will be back very soon
