Smith x Willow is a 40 acre property located 10km from the country town of Murchison Victoria. The property is set within bushland and open farm paddocks on slightly undulating land. A small lake is on the property. We offer one large campsite, with ample space available for camping/caravans/motor homes to park up in quiet bushland surrounds. Shade is available on the site. Please note the small lake varies in size depending on rain/drought conditions. Swimming is not allowed but fine for a spot of fishing or for pets to have a dip. Wildlife and bird life on the property. Peaceful with minimal neighbours and no traffic. Bush roads for miles for bushwalking/bike riding. Waterways of Goulburn River, Nagambie Lakes and Waranga Basin within 10 to 30 minutes drive of the campsite. Campfires allowed in the designated fire pit during cooler months. Firewood is not provided but feel free to forage for timber/kindling around the campsite. If used, campfires must be supervised at all times. Fire pit is to be cleaned out on departure. Fire restrictions apply in the Summer months. Sunsets are amazing and stargazing opportunities are incredible, right under the Milky Way!Pitch your tent or pull your caravan up in bushland surrounds. Clear directions made getting there easy. The place was beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. We loved being able to choose our own spot and really enjoy being away from others. The lake access was unreal such a highlight that you can access it no matter where you set up. Not a single complaint from us. Best spot, hands down. We’ll be back!

We stayed a few nights and as we left my wife commented that she thought it was the best Hipcamp property we've ever stayed at. The simple fact that Ginette has kept it as a single booking site was appreciated and made it perfect. Loads of options regarding where to camp in a nice large cleared area, either in the open or by the shade. The outlook over the lake/dam was excellent. It was quiet and peaceful. A firepit and some wood was provided and there's plenty of fallen timber to collect on the property. Only fair that fires aren't permitted over the warmer months. Highly recommend a visit !

A lovely stay, our dog had a blast running through the dam chasing his frisbee 🥏 bird sounds and a few kangaroos who kept their distance. We couldn’t have a fire due to restrictions but it was a warm enough night that we didn’t need to anyway

First time user of Hipcamp and I was not disappointed. Smith x Willow was an amazing spot. Ginette was extremely helpful and also checked in via message to make sure everything was going well. Highly recommend Smith x Willow. Remote but close proximity to Murchison, Nagambie and several wineries.

Property was very nice, clean and private. Its a great place to just unwind from the city and do nothing and only 1hour 30 from Epping Vic. Nagambie, rushworth and Tatura nice little towns to visit while in the area. This is a must stay place for anyone. Highly recommend.

A lovely, quiet and secluded area with a lake and plentiful birds, a visit from a mob of kangaroos also kept the interest up. We are new to caravanning and the site was easy for us to navigate and set up. Ginette was wonderful and very informative. I would have no problems recommending this site and I will return next time we're in the area.

Our time at Smith x Willow was lovely - based in a bush setting, it's a great way to relax under the stars with a fire away from it all. The camping area is very secluded from the house so it's a nice private area. There is a lake however it was a bit cold for any swimming - but it'd be perfect for kayaking. The road in is dirt and the access path to the camp site is a little tight but fine with a big caravan. Over all we had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

Very nice and peaceful setting by the lake. Spent much of the time wading and paddle boarding. Private, separated from the residence. Nice way to spend a few days in the quiet. Would recommend.

A great host and a lovely quiet secluded property where our group could set up camp next to the lake on the property. We all enjoyed sitting around the campfire at night chatting and looking for stars and satellites. There was also an abundance of bird life and wildlife. We would highly recommend this lovely quiet place to stay.
