Riverside King Valley is set on 16 acres on the banks of the King river featuring 10 spacious campsite spread along the property. Just a half an hour drive from Wangaratta, 45 minutes from Benalla and an hour from Mansfield. Each site offers something a little different whether it is a spacious site for a large group or party or a smaller site for a family weekend away. Our site is accessible for all vehicle types and is dog-friendly as long as pets are well-controlled. Campfires are allowed when restrictions aren’t in place, and firewood and kindling is available for purchase (see Extras). Please keep in mind that the property is a working farm and there will be cars and machinery onsite nearby to some of the sites. Each powered site has only 1 power supply. River flats 1 is on the smaller side compared to the other sites we offer however what it lacks in size it makes up for in location, right on the bank of the king river under the shade of some beautiful trees. This site will accommodate all camping set ups from caravans to tents and swags. This campsite has a firepit and access to the amenities including a flush toilet and hot shower and well as space and a sink for dishes. Please keep in mind that the property is a working farm and there will be cars and machinery onsite nearby to some of the sites.

River flats 2 powered is a spacious shaded site located 25m from the banks of the king river, this site is suitable for groups of 15-20 people and is located close to main tracks for access to other sites on the property. River flats powered 2 is 1 of the 3 powered sites we offer here at riverside king valley, each powered site has only 1 power supply. Generators can be used but must be used with others in mind. This site is a short walk to the amenities including a flush toilet and hot shower as well as space and a sink to do dishes. Reminder that this site is NOT on the bank of the river it is set back a short walk from the river. Please keep in mind that the property is a working farm and there will be cars and machinery onsite nearby to some of the sites.

River flats site 2 is a beautiful spacious grassy campsite set on the banks of the King river, the site offers the option to set up camp right next to the river or set back on the grass area set 20 m from the rivers edge. Being a spacious site it is well suited to larger groups of 20-30 people. This site is only a short walk to the amenities including a flush toilet and hot shower as well as space and a sink to do dishes. Robinia forest is by far one of the most secluded site on the property set at the far end of the property under the shade of the of the Robinia trees set right on the banks of the river this site can accommodate 15-20 people suited to all forms of camping set ups from caravans to tents and swags. This site is designed for those that are more self sufficient as there is no access to the amenities however, we do offer portable camp toilets contained in an ensuit tent for a small fee. Campers booking this site MUST book a portable toilet unless you have one of your own. River Flats site 1 powered is one of 3 powered site we offer here at Riverside King Valley, set about 20 m back from the banks of the river, the site offers a generous grassed area suitable for small groups of up to 15 people. This site is one of the closest sites to the amenities, including a flush toilet and hot shower as well as space and a sink to do dishes. Keep this in mind when you book that there will be people walking past to access the amenities and the river during your stay on this site. Each powered site has only 1 power supply. Generators can be used but must be used with others in mind. Reminder that this site is NOT on the bank of the river it is set back a short walk from the river. Bush camp 1 is one of the biggest sites that we offer here at Riverside King Valley, the site is set 50-60m from the bank of the river although there is a option to be closer to the water it is a smaller area and not as shaded, the main part of this site is set under the shade of the beautiful Paulownia trees with a large flat grassed area suitable for all camping setups. This site is suited more for those who are self-sufficient as there are no amenities on the site. Campers booking this site MUST book a portable toilet unless you have one of your own. Bush camp 2 is one of our bigger sites accommodating large groups of up to 50 people on the site, much like bush camp 1 bush camp 2 is set on the grass under the shade of the paulownia trees and again is suitable for all setups from caravans all the way through to tents and swags. Bush camp 3 is another one of our larger site accommodating large groups of between 30-40 people this campsite offers options there is a smaller space close to the rivers edge with a grass area as well as sand and rock areas and a larger area on the back side of the main track that is a large open area surrounded by beautiful tall gum trees, you can chose to use one part of the campsite or the other or both parts for larger groups, keeping in mind that the main track runs through both parts of the campsite so long weekends there will be traffic going past to other campsites on the property. Campers booking this site MUST book a portable toilet unless you have one of your own. Please keep in mind that the property is a working farm and there will be cars and machinery onsite nearby to some of the sites.

Keep in mind that this powered site like the others on the property only has 1 power hook up. Please keep in mind that the property is a farm and there will be cars and machinery onsite nearby to some of the sites. please do not enter any cars or sheds on the property. Generators can be used but must be used with others in mind.

Robinia Forest
Second time back to Riverside King Valley. Another great trip! Toilet and firewood ready to go on arrival. Warm welcome from Daemon. And the site as pristine and beautiful as I remembered. Robinia Rainforest is a great site for privacy away from other campers. It's the last site furthest away from other campers with plenty of shade as well. Also feels like your own private section of River as well with the way it curves along the camp sites.

We loved River Flats camp. A great position by the river, with shade, privacy and a level tidy site with a fire pit ready to go. A perfect spot for us and our two dogs !! And our hosts were so friendly and helpful. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Daemon and Sara’s place. The hosts were really welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The location is gorgeous and unlike many other campsites you have privacy, plenty of space between each site. Must try the great selection of small goods you can buy from Daemon. We would definitely recommend and return.

Riverside is a WONDERFUL place to relax and enjoy the beautiful trees, birds and river. Daemon and Sara made us so welcome and helped us with our every request. Especially loved that we could hire an ensuite toilet as one person in our group is disabled group- so practical and helpful. We will be back! Thanks so much 🙏🏻

Great location to the wineries, brewery and township of Whitfield. Daemon was a great host and happy to help out. Firewood was handy benefit. Loved being close to the river, couldn’t get the kids out of it. Pity the weather turned south though, had to pack up early as it was going to get too wet. Would happily come back with our families ahgain, everyone enjoyed their stay. Thanks Daemon and Sara

My husband and I loved staying here! We did an overnighter and this spot was a perfect little oasis in the King Valley. With access to the King River it was great for a fish and loved being able to relax under the beautiful trees. Daemon was a great host who was attentive and friendly!

The facilities were fantastic! We came with a big group of first timers and everyone was blown away at how good the showers and toilets were. Lovely hosts that were able to accomodate our late and ever changing arrival times as well.

We enjoyed our stay at Daemon & Sarah's Farm.We particularly loved the views and the clean river which surprisingly had a Tarzan rope we all enjoyed! And Kayaked on.Would definitely go back again.

Site 2 - River Bank Bush Camp
Loved the spot along the river, the purple blossoming trees and green grass. Highlight was the campfire, and dips in the clear water. Bring aqua shoes for the slippery rocks. Communication with the hosts was good. Check in is before 6pm unless you pay a late check in fee. We could see other campers but they didn’t feel too close. You can hear the cars on the road but it still felt like you were in nature. Explore the plantation forest by walking across the road and up past the cemetery, there’s a decent dog friendly 10km walk in there. A great spot, will be back!

We had a great time staying here for a week. Beautiful spot right on the King River. Daemo was great. It did get busier than I expected around our camp on the weekend with another group close by. Overall enjoyed the stay and plan to come back.

Very private due to capped amount of sites. The large scale planting of Paulownia trees that are fully matured is quite a sight to behold. Was very happy to accommodate our late arrival. Will definitely stay there again

Riverside was the most beautiful camp-site, it was private, picturesque and quiet. Daemon welcomed me on Friday and Sara popped over when I sent a message with a question. Though I didn't need any amenities, knowing they were there if I needed was a great comfort. Will be returning to Robinia site at Riverside very soon.

Great spot, fast flowing water to sleep too and a great mix of sun and shade in the area. Water was too fresh for swim when we visited but would be mint in the warmer months! Daemon super friendly and the amenities were great compared to other spots. Flushing outhouses and hot water for showers and dishes!

Absolutely perfect ! Beautiful spot under trees , close to the river , very nice toilets and lovely hot shower ! Daemon and Sara couldnt have been nicer ! We needed more wood a couple of times and all I had to do was send a quick message via the app and Daemon was there in minutes !

We had the most amazing weekend. Site had plenty of space, river was so close and absolutely beautiful. Not water wasn’t deep this time of year so kids played for hours. Daemon was a great host nothing was too much trouble. We can’t wait to come back.

Roadside River Camp
Being next to the river was unbeatable. It was ice cold but such a great view and sound with the little rapids. Our dog loved it, too. We were at the Roadside Camp and while it was closer and louder than I thought during the day, it didn’t impact us at all as we were focused on playing, getting the fire going, cooking and enjoying the experience.

Lovely place to camp, beautiful area, plenty of space, lovely and still close to the river. Kids loved the various rope swings and exploring, good fire pit spaces. Fire wood can be purchased also which is very handy. Host was very welcoming and nice to chat with. Overall we loved the place and would definitely come back again. Constructive criticism: Host only attended to the bathrooms once in a 5 day stay. Which meant guests needed to maintain toilets. A quick check and clean each day would be good. The shower cubicle could do with a real basic curtain just so the whole room isn't soaked leaving no where to change as the toilets and all floor end up wet.
