Lovely spot to camp and wonderful it’s dog friendly however we were not able to let our dogs free due to the very long grass covering the entire camp area.

Instructions were easy to follow how to get to the site communication and suggestions was polite , the area was nice and tidy and clear right near the water and because we were crazy to go when its minus at night we had the area to ourselves nice and quiet, close walk to the molesworth hotel for a drink meals and the general store next door. Not far from historic station and tunnel would stay again in not so cold weather

Our first Hip Camp with our kids as we usually head to caravan parks for the kids. But this was magic. The kids enjoyed the open area playing out in the fresh air helping out with casting out a line. We caught our first fish as a family first time our kids had experienced fishing by the Goulburn. The stunning views of the hills we all loved. Kangaroos came into paddock. Explored the area seen some wombats and possums. Greg is a great bloke. Dropped off wood to keep the family warm had a great chat he really takes pride in his land & getting to know his campers. We highly recommend experiencing river side camp ground yourself. We are planning another trip there.

The Hipcamp is well sign posted on the entry gates however they state sites 1 - 3 but more sites are offered on the booking system. Nice big paddock with lots of room and river frontage although sites are not marked or sectioned off so campers will set up wherever they like and this doesn't help when dogs are allowed off lead or for privacy. Sites are also differently priced and with no site numbers, it's unknown what the difference in price is actually for. It was a lovely getaway however the cost was too high for what was offered in our opinion.

Great site on the Goldburn River. Very easy walking distance to store/pub and adjacent to the Rail Trail. Some traffic noise but more than made up for by the openness of the site and location. Nearby towns - Yea and Alexandra are 15 mins away.

An excellent experience — I was lucky to have the entire site to myself. It would be great if the campground could be divided into numbered sections so that customers can clearly know their designated camping spot when making a booking.

Had an great time at Riverside Camping. You camp metres from the river, nice flat ground, general store and pub a five minute walk away. Shout out to Greg, great communication, and a solid supply of wood too, plenty to get me and my pup through a cold night. Definitely coming back 🐕👍

We loved our stay at Greg and Kylie’s place. Was very relaxing, clean sites, lots of space sites. Fishing was good and lots of birdlife. Greg and Kylie were fantastic hosts.
Highly recommended. We will be back.

Great spot to relax by the river for a few days. Easy access for a 20ft Van. Not many Hip camps offer a 5 minute walk to the local pub. Great feed at the Molesworth Hotel.

Great spot along the river, Close to Molesworth pub and store which is well worth a visit, lovely walk along rail trail, the tunnel also worth a visit.
Excellent communication from Greg.
Firewood delivery very handy for the cold nights.
Beautiful part of the world if you don't want to get too off track

Camped right on the river for two days. Nice and close to the pub and general store. Greg was lovely and brought us some wood for $50 and it lasted us the whole two days.

We loved camping here, flat grounds suitable for tents, perfect access to the Goulburn river makes for good fishing. Greg is really cool, and really goes out of his way to ensure you have a good camping trip!
It was also good to support the local stores, and everyone is super friendly.
We will be back!

Really enjoyed our long weekend at Riverside
Was a first outing with our pop up camper and it was perfect, flat site, pretty view of river and surrounds, nice walks and open exploring space for our dog.
Greg was a wonderful host, ensuring we had dry wood for the fire after a first night of rain.
Hope to return and enjoy some more!

We loved camping at this spot right on the river - beautiful.
Awesome Easter camping! Respectful, quiet campsites along the rivers edge. Only a short walk to the pub and general store and for a longer walk the great Victorian rail trail. Greg met us on arrival and was a great host, also checked in with everyone once set up. Firewood for $50 was handy as nothing lying around. Highly recommend!

This was a great location by the Goulburn River, clean, flat with ample shade from trees. Located just off of the main road, where there is a general store should you forget any supplies.
Every camping group was respectful, clean and friendly.
Another bonus was that it was pet friendly in addition our two year old boy also enjoyed his first camping trip in a tent.
Would definitely reccomend and will be back.

My son and I had a great night here. Super friendly and accommodating, honestly the best laugh I've had in a while. Would definitely recommend this space if you're still wanting to be close to town but have a bush feel. Thanks for having us guys

Camping in Riverside Goulburn River.
We met the Host Greg and Kylie when we arrived and they led us to the campsite , they are very friendly and helpful . The campsite is very privacy and Spacey, beautiful view just 20m from the river. Goulburn River is a popular fishing destination ,but I did not get any luck catching any fish but It was a wonderful camping and fishing experience , we stayed only one night , time is too short, may be next time I will stay there longer..
There is general store and food shop just 5 mins on foot from the campsite,very convenient and you can take a walk along the river. About 15 mins driving to the town of Yea , coffee shop, restaurant, park, you can easily find overthere. Excellent campsite in Riverside Goulburn River ,for sure we will back! we love it!
