Come and set up camp for a few days on this private site at Paradise Beach. Campers will love the short walk to the beach, an established fire pit and access to (a small amount of) water from the provided tank. Please be economical with the water so there is enough left for everyone else. There is also a shelter shed which you are welcome to use to escape with wind, rain or sun. There is a cabin on the property which is not accessible. There are no facilities here, campers will need to be self sufficient and leave no trace.  A short drive down the road you'll find a general store, a takeaway shop and great picnic areas. The property is located 3.5 hours east of Melbourne. Entry to the site is from a small driveway on the lower side of the property. Please keep all tents and vans within close proximity to the cabin to ensure you are within my properties boundary and there are no overlaps. The terrain is sandy, however it's very compact and suitable for most sedans, vans and average vehicles.

Paradise Beach Camping
Ideal location
Stayed one night here. Very close to the beach at high tide you can hear the waves breaking, such a therapeutic sound. Shaded areas to keep cool during the hot days. Hope to spend more time there.

Beautiful shady spot walking distance to the beach. Such a sleepy town. Water and camp fire and plenty of wood on site. Breeming with wallabies, kangaroos, kookaburras and numerous other wildlife.

Paradise Beach Camping
Had an okay stay at Joel's block. The site itself is private and in a nice enough spot but it's not very flat so most of our tents were on an angle. It's a short walk to the beach but a bit too far from the public toilets and general store to walk so you need to drive. The host and their kids were also staying in the cabin on the block but they were nice and kept to themselves so it wasn't an issue. Not sure I would come back to Paradise Beach again but I would stay here with a smaller group if I did.

Perfect beach location
Lovely quiet spot very close to the beach. Entry is a bit tricky to find.

Good spot but…
Overall we had a good experience, the place is a very good one to stay, but…… when we arrived somebody else just claimed the spot and tolt us he booked the site (1). After a couple of minutes the guy said “I hope you don’t pay for here because you shouldn’t be paying at all for these spots”, while these were all paid sites. We know there is a lot of unpaid sites around Ninety Mile Beach. We tried to call the host several times but never picked up the phone. After that I called Victoria Parks and they said there wasn’t a Ranger in the area to helps us so there wasn’t anything they could do. They told me to just go to a free campground and search for a spot……(???) So you can just claim a spot and nobody is going to do something about it. Because we are Dutch tourists we try to be kind, polite and respectful to anyone in this country. But these people just claiming other peoples paid spots triggers me in a different way. I went over to the guy and told him (I lied) a Ranger was coming over to check and help us. All of a sudden the guy said okay I am leaving. Within five minutes he was gone, says enough right? After all we had a good stay and the beach was very nice!

The site was good for what we needed, a place to park our campervan overnight before going to the beach. Secluded, quiet. It wasn't the type of place you hang around too much.
