Super secluded and an amazing spot!! Would be great for a big group or just a couple. Went with the missus, we used the fire pit and had a ripper evening. Make sure you bring firewood!
The creek is gorgeous, would be good to dip a toe in during warmer weather. Will be back!

Really enjoyed the site. Flat and plenty of room on a lovely sweeping bend in the river. Rocky bottom and not deep water in front of site - great for a refreshing dip. Glad we remembered to bring some firewood. Hope to get back there soon

A little slice of paradise. The campsite was amazing. Offered a fantastic place to unwind. Very private. Suggest capable 4wd/offroad set up in the wet. Highly worth the experience. We look forward to going back.

Stunning riverside camping spot for either a couple, or a bigger group.
Relaxed atmosphere chasing shade from the cottonwood tree or by the fire pit.
Kids were happy playing by the river, trying to catch fish and yabbies, or kicking the footy.
Loved our time away, and can hopefully make it back one day.

I stayed here with 4 teenagers for my sons birthday. Boys loved fishing in the river. Close to the weir, boys walked there and back 2 times. 2 firepits.....although i find fire pits aren't as warm as a fire on the ground. Plenty of area to camp. Grass could have done with a mow but wasn't too bad. Nice and peaceful. Bit tricky to find but the host helped with directions prior to our stay. Host was quick to respond. Would definately stay again.

Using photos from other campers that posted around here, finding the camp site was a breeze.
The camp site was perfect, grass short and camp site clean with some firewood to use.
Water clear and was able to go for a quick dip. Caught 2 trout (35 cm) and 1 eel and 1 carp all on worms.
There are 4×4 tracks close by and was able to collect heaps of firewood. 1 of the tracks lead us to a secluded part of the Thompson River.
All up, great weekend and recommend.

This place never fails great area for a base camp or to simply sit down infront of a fire and watch the wildlife with the water running by nexto you
This is our second visit was a touch different then a year passed but very much the same it was very disappointing to notice it looked like the people before us had made a fire on the ground with bones from whatever they cooked when there are two fire pits provided
And left there burnt tissues all over the place
Look after these places people or they wont be shared with us

The camping spot was lovely but the instructions when we arrived to get to the campsite were not clear. On the Hipcamp site there were photos of the bbq and seating area which looked really good but on arrival we were very disappointed as it looked like junk had been left lying around and there was long grass in amongst it. Not really a problem at this time of year but in snake season it could be quite bad.
We have a 22ft van. When it came to leaving we had great problems with the tracks into and out of the site. It had been a very wet few days and the track we had used coming in was now too slippery so we decided to try the other track and that was too steep. We tried calling the host but his phone was switched off. Luckily we had a winch so that is the only way we could get out. If you are going there in wet times of the year we would suggest you have a winch.
If there was a bit of maintenance on the track and a clean up on the site it would be of great benefit as the position of the site is very good with plenty of room to have a group of friends/family staying.

Adrian’s site was beautiful and picturesque! There was lots of room on the site for our setup to go, and for our dogs to run and play!
Finding a spot where there was not another person in sight was beautiful, at night we heard and saw native wildlife including wombats and wallabies, and heard the neighbouring farm’s cows.
We have two large dogs and it’s often hard to find a good spot where other campers feel comfortable being near, this spot was absolutely perfect and made us feel incredibly comfortable.
The only downside we had whilst camping on ‘Mick’s Farm’ was the entrance into the site. The instructions on how to get to the actual site are minimal. And once you have found the path, there is a steep hill of which the wet weather has made deep ruts in the tracks, causing it to be incredibly slippery. Although, there was another path right next to the overused track, which was far less dangerous, and i recommend using it for other campers!
This spot was perfect in winter, so i imagine it would be even more perfect in summer! We are definitely rebooking again soon!
Thanks Adrian for being a great host, and even letting us arrive a little early, to get the most out of our weekend!

Fantastic spot! Plenty of place to set up and for the dogs to run around. Easy access to the beautiful river too. Hope to be back again next month for our daughter's first birthday, if the weather plays nice.

Adrian's land is beautiful and we camped in our off-road camper very near to the river.

Beautiful spot on the river. Very quiet with lots of space to spread out. It was hard to find the entry in the dark but a quick call to Adrian solved that problem. Will definitely be coming back again.
