Nobody else in site. Plenty of room if other campers arrive (no need to camp right on top of each other lile I've experienced elsewhere).
The Little River pub is not far away and the do awesome beef ribs and cold beers.

I enjoyed my stay at Little River camp. Nothing better than waking up hearing the birds, sheeps and the roos. The place is only 30-40 mins away from the western suburbs but it’s very large, quiet and away from all the city life. Plenty of spots to choose from and the view of the farm, hills and its wildlife are magnificent. Hosts are very helpful and responsive. Would definitely be back here and recommend 👍🏼

We very much enjoyed the massive amount of space and privacy this camp offers. It was located close enough to Melbourne to visit family and close enough to the spirit of tas for our trip home. It is pretty much flat acreage with the you yangs as your back drop. Lots of kangaroos and sheep. Yes there is a rifle range up the road so yes you may hear them during the day but didn’t bother us.

We really enjoyed the environment with what seems a limit of three areas set well apart.
It’s predominantly an open paddock with the odd tree, and a few small dams.
A fire pit but no amenities so it’s like bush camping except there is a per person fee which is a bit steep considering.
It is next door to a paint ball and rifle park so if the sound of gun shots is not your thing consider that.
It is close to the You Yangs mountain bike trails which is why we were there, the boys had a fabulous time.

Great spot being right near the you yangs yes next to gun fire range but after 5pm very quite
Definitely worth the money I say thanks heaps will definitely be coming back!! Will be letting friends and family know it's a great getaway.

The road leading in to the property is in really bad condition and there's no signs so we had to drive up and down a few times before we finally rang the host to find out where to go. It was a random gate with a padlock and the code had not been given to us. We arrived in the dark and felt really uncomfortable. There's a big abandoned shed and animal bones all on the ground. We decided to stay and it was much prettier in the morning but all the gun shots going off nearby was off-putting so we left first thing. Would not recommend at all. A lot of money too for our low quality this hipcamp is

I would camp here again, without hesitation. It was beautiful and very spacious. Lots of wildlife and a very good base to explore the You yangs, incredibly peaceful at night, however... the rifle range next door made for an interesting backdrop and plenty of sheep poop around (being their home to be expected).

Great spot to camp but keep in mind that it's next to a live gun range so you hear pops all day but not to loud most of the time. Most definitely going back. We love the area.

A gelaxing space to enjoy nature, lots of Kangaroos, Galahs and Cockatoos!
Had a lovely view of stars and hot fires at night. Beautiful property and a lovely host. Easy to get in and out and enjoy!

Came here to camp close to the Avalon Airshow. Beautiful, quiet, in a great location.
Felt more secure leaving the van behind a locked gate.
We will definitely be back.

So this site is just a field - we had good communication where it was and the gate code- we arrived when it was dark so we couldn't see anything really and just parked up- woke up to beautiful views but I think over priced for staying in a dusty field but a experience - thank you

Nice and quiet peace of land, the Paintball farm didn’t bother us a single bit. Watching the sheep hang out under the trees in the morning was a nice bonus too. Really good spot for doing the great ocean road, especially if you don’t want the hassle of finding a campsite on the road itself. Will definitely consider coming back. :)

It was ok but certainly overpriced for what it is. Just a paddock, with little to no maintenance. We just fit our van through the gateway as there is a tree that needs a few limbs chopped off. Van is 21ft and 2.5m tall so not huge. Maybe if weeds were sprayed, limbs cleaned up and bull ants sprayed could you charge $40 a night. The gate is locked with no code provided until we rang, despite me messaging owner 2hrs prior with our eta. We were booked for 2 nights but only stayed one.

We got the place to ourselves and we loved it. Remote, quiet (didn’t hear the paintball/firing range), awesome views. Our son and dog ran around like crazy having the best time. No frills but we didn’t expect that.

Never responded to my message regarding arriving late (that I sent days prior).
Got to the property at 8pm and the gate was locked shut.
Very inconvenient, would not recommend this place.

Amazing sunset, super quiet and peaceful!! Felt secure behind a locked gate and nice to be around trees and animals and let the dogs go for a nice walk around.

Don’t waste $28 on parking in a paddock full of sheep dung
From qld to Victoria this was the least value
Just Drive to the free camp at Maude , Bunjils lookout , has water and toilet and most of all scenic area🙏

We absolutely loved the quiet & nature, we felt a world away & enjoyed the inquisitive animals & night sky. What we didn't like was how much rubbish was laying around including live shotgun shells & spent shotgun shells & things were quite untidy. When this is a place of “leave no trace” it didn’t set that example.
You need a code for the gate which we hadn’t received, so ensure you have that, the gate is not marked or identified.
