We had such a great time at Nik's land two years ago, that we are back again and brought friends along. Magical place as usual, the tranquility and beautiful scenery within an hour's drive of Melbourne. Having a campfire is the icing on the cake for the kids. We will be back again, thanks Nik!

Very lovely farm and wonderful hotsts. Even with our bad luck choosing the wetest week of the year we still highly enjoyed our stay!
Very much appreciate the hot water bottles to keep us toasty warm at night.

We had such a relaxing and peaceful two nights here. Nic was an amazing host. The weekend was cold, windy and raining but we managed to stay toasty thanks to the firewood on offer and the fact that the site was quite sheltered from the wind. Nic also dropped off some hot water bottles which made a huge difference! The property is beautiful and there's heaps of space between the sites so it feels really private. The location is fantastic, being so close to Trentham, Daylesford, etc. We're already planning our next trip here. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the Old Orchard site and it was private and peaceful, with a nice fire pit to help get us through the cold night. Nik was very hospitable, greeting us warmly as we arrived and showing us where the toilet was and where our camping site was. He even kindly offered us to stay in the guest cottage if we got too cold. We slept under a full moon and a sky full of stars. 2 cute goats, chickens and ducks were our friendly neighbours. We had a lovely night camping and would highly recommend Nik’s place for your next camping trip.

We loved camping on Nik’s property near the lake. The property is beautifully maintained, with lovely gardens, chickens and sheep. We enjoyed a camp fire each night, toasting marshmallows which Nik kindly offered us. We liked having access to a flushing toilet and a laundry sink, a short walk from the campsite (with the path between well lit at nighttime). We were the only tent by the lake, and there were a couple of caravaners in a back paddock (which we could see but not hear). The property is located a short drive from the Pig and Whistle pub (with a great beer garden), and a short drive from Trentham town centre with a well stocked grocer. Would highly recommend Nik’s property.

Great space, could use more signage. We arrived in the dark so perhaps missed some but we couldn’t find the toilet during the day. Would recommend for a serene, quiet space, with access to a fire.

Such a beautiful property, Nik was a pleasure to deal with, making sure we arrived and showed us around, great location close to Trentham, visited a few towns and a local gin distillery…. loved our stay with sheep, chickens and goats …..and our fire pit kept us warm to share a few laughs with our friends …. just a perfect get away 🙏🏻

We LOVED our stay at Nicholas’ place! Such beautiful & peaceful surroundings with amazing gardens, native wildlife & Nicholas’ animals roaming the farm too. We highly recommend & would love to come back some time!

It's a good spot for families and first-time campers. Nic was very supportive and welcomed us to show around the farm. The property is very well-maintained. All camping blocks are very roomy and have privacy from each other. We will go back again.

I recently stayed at this beautiful campsite near a lake, and it was an incredible experience. The views were breathtaking, and the peaceful ambiance made it the perfect getaway. Our host, Nicholas, was fantastic – he took the time to explain everything we needed to know, which made us feel right at home. We absolutely loved our time camping in this little spot of paradise! Nicholas is so warm and welcoming; we instantly felt relaxed and the kids were spoilt with animal feeds, newborn chicks and beautiful horses. Plenty of privacy from the other campsites, and communication was faultless. We couldn't recommend enough, and will definitely be back!

Nic's property is beautiful, full of life and peaceful. We camped near the paddock, had a lovely campfire and a view over the little lake. Nic os very friendly, and his property is highly recommended!

We loved our stay on Nik’s land. We had the place to ourselves which made it very peaceful, and Nik provided plenty of firewood to keep us warm through the night. He was a super friendly and accommodating host who also gave us plenty of space and privacy during our stay. Would highly recommend.

Nicholas was really friendly and welcoming. The property was beautiful, super close to Melbourne and near by pub Pig and Whistle was a great lunch spot.
We had the pleasure of seeing a new born lamb running around and some very friendly chickens.

Nic’s land was very spacious. Although there were 2 other groups camping at the same time, we felt very comfortable and had more than enough privacy. Overall, a very enjoyable and pleasant stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

We loved tent camping on Nicks property. Very clean, picturesque and very family friendly. Kids loved sitting around the camp fire, and waking to the calls of the house rooster! Love the personal touches Nick offers of hot water bottles, marshmallows, fire wood and opera.
Thanks again we will definitely be back.

Great intimate property.
Host let us have the place to ourselves for the weekend. Lots of attractions nearby, pub, bakery, potatoes, walks and trails about. Recommend for a quick getaway not too far from cbd.
