Hedley Gardens and Bush Camp is my oasis situated on four acres just minutes from the beach and the bush, and an easy 20min drive to either Foster or Yarram. Food-producing landscaped gardens with four separate self-contained living areas. Guests are welcome to pick their own salad and herbs and picnic in the gardens! Only seven minutes drive to a quiet beach, boating, fishing and the long jetty. The property is conveniently located within close proximity to Welshpool, Agnes falls, National parks, numerous rivers and a State Forests. There are 4 camp sites available for tents, Vans and RV's, with a toilet for those guests in the cottage, the shed and campers. Power and camp kitchen facilities also available. Plenty of room to play cricket or have a get-together. Whole or part of the property including main residence can be rented to groups and functions are also welcome.

Plenty of sites to choose from in the forest area or around the property. Areas suit tents, vans and RV's. Fire wood can be purchased and assorted tents for portable showers, loos or kitchen are available on request and set up for you at an extra cost. There are up to 5 camp sites available, more on request as porta loos can be hired. Price is based on per person per night. Access to a flush toilet is within walking distance from camping sites. Extra kitchen tent, sink and other camping additions are available on request at an extra cost. Access to shower on request. Access to camp kitchen on request. Laundry facilities available on request. Outdoor DVD and chromecast projector in front of outdoor fire place available at an extra cost. Power can be made available at an additional cost. A Queen size bedroom unit with a TV. There is a kitchenette and eating area equipped with a sink, kettle, mini stove and crockery and cutlery for two. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided. An adjoining shower and toilet with soap provided (please note this is a shared shower/toilet if other guests are occuping other available accomodation. The shower and toilet room are cleaned daily) There is also an additional toilet located close to the room. An adjoining deck BBQ and outdoor eating area can be set up on request. An extra camp bed or cot can also be set up on request in kitchenette area at an extra cost. Access to camp kitchen on request. Laundry facilities available on request. Nice spot 5 mins from Welshpool amongst the gums and olive trees. Having access to the shower was great after a day on the boat.

Son and I spent 2 nights, lots of green grass and surrounded by tall trees. Farmland on one side and tree line on other makes for lots of serenity. Host was very friendly and provided firewood, drinking water, and had shower and toilet available. Close to Port Welshpool for fishing.

Great place, to spend a few nights relaxing & exploring the area. We love Port Welshpool for a walk & Yarrum. Visited Tarra Bulga National Park & loved it! Michelle had good communication, great options with outdoor toilet. Great flat grassy space, stars were lovely at night. We were lucky to be the only people there. Thanks for access to the shower Michelle. Your property is lovely xxx Thank you

Very helpful and friendly host. Quick response time and very accommodating. I would have preferred the kitchen area bit closer to camp site. Also camp site closer to road so bit noisy at night time

Lovely place for camping. The amenities were always clean and easy to access for a more comfortable stay. Andrew was lovely to greet us and show us around. The nearby towns and their food were great as well. Highly recommend if you would like to explore south Gippsland and Wilson’s Prom.

Firstly, Michelle is an exceptional host/caretaker of her land. Genuinely Good Person. The setup allows for space between campers across 2 paddocks, treed and lovely with the gardens. The amenities - camp kitchen offers everything you might need and a nice communal space if you might need to escape the elements, shed toilet, and an ensuite shower and toilet too. Easy off the highway, quiet at night, and the night sky shines through without the bright lights of a caravan park. We ventured to Welshpool - stopped at the Olive Branch coffee shop, most welcoming - and the Long Jetty. Visited Agnes Falls - another magical spot, very nearby, Another day we headed to Tarra Bulga Natl Park, so reminiscent of NZ fern forests. It’s an hour away, very windy roads.

We loved the expansive private area for our group’s tents. We had a large grassy area that allowed us to set up our tents and social areas comfortably, while leaving lots of open space for the kids to play.

Amazing place to stay. Beautiful surroundings with veggies and herbs galore. Grass camp sites and amenities were great! Very close to the water if fishing is your thing. We loved it because we don’t like staying in caravan parks being jammed in with heaps of people so it was perfect for us. Heaps of space!!! Thank you we will return.

Lovely maintained camp site with firewood available. Shared camp kitchen, toilet and shower are within walking distance. The sites can be noisy as they are just off the road and sites are close to the main house (with attached amenities).

We loved camping at Michelle's. Her beautiful garden is a little piece of paradise my kids enjoyed exploring! Michelle is a wonderful, friendly host. It was a great bonus to have the camp kitchen, laundry and bathroom available for our use. Not to mention roasting marshmallows over the campfire! Thank you Michelle:)

Michelle was a wonderful host! We loved camping on her beautiful property, overflowing with flowers, fruit and vegetables. There was a huge variety of bird life and we particularly enjoyed the frog song that serenaded us at night time. The property is close to beautiful beaches and walks.

We loved this camp site for all the reasons we could think of. The warm welcome we got from Michelle and her son and grandkids made us feel like we were in our own country land. Facilities were very clean and tidy. With the hard work this family has put in to their garden, it looks very refreshing and there were plenty of things for us to enjoy. We got few so many dog friendly recommendations to visit with our pup. We loved the Minnehaha falls and ninety mile beach walk plus Agnes falls was huge. Have to mention the outdoor movie night by the fire was spectacular. We recommend this place and the lovely people to anyone. Thank you Michelle and the family for making our weekend getaway a memorable one.

The Cottage
We had a wonderful stay in the farm. It was peaceful and close to nature with beautiful flowers surrounding you. Kids loved playing with dogs and had good time around the farm. The hosts Michelle and Phillip were amazing and we had great time with them. The kitchen is well equipped and you can have campfire with a movie projected on a wall.

Michelle was a very welcoming host! We loved the spaciousness and relaxed environment out in nature with the sheep and sheep dogs :) it offered a nice space for camp fire and plenty of fire wood for a nice relaxing evening after a day of exploring Wilson’s prom!

Peaceful and calm glamping

It was exactly what we wanted. A glamping experience with mode cons in easy reach. Michelle’s property is beautiful, the gardens are impressive and her hospitality outstanding. We were made to feel very welcome and therefore felt comfortable during our stay. The location was great, we stayed for three nights and visited Tarra-Bulga NP, Wilson’s Prom, cute towns like Foster and the nearby Ports (Albert and Welshpool) which would be great places to fish.

We had the most wonderful time at Michelle’s home this long weekend! The 2 bedroom cottage was just perfect for the 4 of us, warm & cosy. Our boys simply loved spending time with the chickens and the dogs banga & Jodie ♥️ We had good laughs, good food, kitchen available & toilet & shower. We cooked in the fire every morning and night ♥️ Michelle & Phil hospitality was fantastic! Thank you so much for making our getaway weekend so special We can’t wait to come back x
