Grandview is located on 8 acres in the township of Buchan. The campsites have beautiful mountain views and the property is close to the Buchan River. The property is a great place to base yourself, within walking distance to the Buchan Caves Hotel, Roadhouse, General Store and the world acclaimed Buchan Caves. Take a 1/2 day or full day trip into the mountains and see the mighty Snowy River and Little River Gorge. Buchan is also a 45 minute drive to the ocean and the 90 mile beach. Grandview is one of the original homesteads of Buchan, which we are in the process of lovingly restoring. We have the belief that this place is to be shared. Had a great time with our family and friends! We parked up near the fire pit overlooking the horses and cows in the paddock. Was the perfect place for the kids to run around and the grass was very well kept. Will be returning for sure!

This promised peace and few sites and it delivered. Only 3 camping groups in a large paddock surrounded by rolling hills. Walk across the road to the pub and General Store, 10 minute drive to Bluffs Reserve with a good swimming hole and had the good fortune to be there for Buchan Makers Market.

Great Property with awesome Valley

Wide expansive well kept grassed area for tents or in my case a camper trailer. I just parked on small concreted area near the Old Dairy/Cabin. I didn't use power but is available. Be aware there is now amnesties or water available on site. Easy walk to village and Pub. Food was great at the pub, and generous. Would use again, was made very easy by Paul and Kristie and thier info leading up to visit was spot on Thanks D

Beautiful views, peaceful. Cows and horses in neighbouring paddocks roaming the hills. Beautiful sunsets and start sky's. Short walk to town, caves and many hiking/walking trails/rivers. The pub food was delicious.

Grandview Sanctuary is nestled between rolling hills and is tranquil yet conveniently right in town. We loved camping here; our highlight was sitting by the fire with a wine and dark-sky stargazing. The pub meals are great and the Road house has good coffee. Thanks Paul and Kirstie. We will be back :)

We loved Grandview Sanctuary. Lovely view of the hills. Nice and peaceful. The cows and the birds kept our fur child Ruby amused. We would definitely stay again.

Grandview Sanctuary was a lovely place to stay. We camp trailered for two nights with our puppy Ruby. Beautiful view of the Hills. Ruby found the cows and bird life interesting. Very peaceful place to stay. Lovely sunrise at 5am, thanks Ruby for waking us up to see that.😁 Recommended for a peaceful stay. We'll be back..

Hosts were friendly and full of local insight. Site was luscious and green with a beautiful outlook over the rolling hills. We had a great weekend and would definitely recommend and will return on our next visit.

Check in was 1 pm, as we had it all set up to enjoy a much needed break a young man started lawn mowing for 3 hours which was annoying. The dog up at the house barked on off all night. The next night the young people in the house had so loud music it was hard to fall asleep. The owner is very nice and accommodating and we had a lovely view.

We were the only campers there. Unfortunately it rained all day. Beautiful views, quiet and relaxing. We had our two dogs. They had to be kept restrained but they loved it

We had such a beautiful stay at this campsite! Damien was incredibly accommodating and just genuinely lovely — he made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. He even offered us a fire pit, which made our evenings extra cozy. The location is absolutely stunning. Waking up to misty green pastures was breath taking. There’s heaps of space, so it felt really peaceful and private — perfect for relaxing and just soaking in nature. I've already told my friends about this place and we're looking for another date to come back with everyone! Can’t recommend it enough.

We had a great one-night stay at this Buchan farm stay. The grassy site was well maintained, and it was easy to find with clear communication from the hosts. The location was ideal - just a short walk into town for a meal at the local pub and an easy bike ride to a he Buchan Caves. Having power on-site and a lovely view made it even better! Highly recommend for a peaceful and convenient stopover. Bonus was it was dog friendly!

Amazing grounds, friendly to deal with. The grass was like carpet! We had a small group of 4 vans and 9 people. A lo ely little fire at night time. The view are amazing totally recommend.

Such a gorgeous place. The view was so stunning and the stars were just incredible. We loved the horses and watching the cows in the field below. We only stayed a night and it was hard to leave. There was a toilet just outside the property which was convenient. I’d love to come back to this little piece of paradise.

Paul and Kirstie's property is beautiful. The grassed area for camping is lush and soft and the views from there were just lovely. Kirstie's quick communication made it easy to organise our stay with a few friends. Even when one of our group had issues with their car, Kirstie and Paul were really helpful in assisting with solving the problem. Everyone in our group would love to stay here again.

Great spot, so close to everything, only a hop skip to town. Beautiful luxurious green grass for the kids to enjoy laying and running around on. Spectacular views and sunrise. Highly recommend and will absolutely be back to stay again. We didn’t end up using the fire pit, as we had amazing weather and didn’t need a fire in the end.
