Second visit to Eagle Ridge, absolutely beautiful spot with lovely views thru the Valley. So close to Yarra Glen yet you feel like you’re miles away from anywhere. Andrew is a great host, will pop his head in for a friendly chat. Will definitely be back.

We loved how close this little gem was which was perfect for a quick weekend away. Large private space with fire pit and plenty of firewood around. Kids had a ball swinging on the tyre swing and checking out the sheep.

This was my 4th or 5th time back.
Great veiws, sunset, hot air balloons in the morning. Sunset and stars at night.
A little windy at times at the top, but beautiful and a great spot.

Our host Andrew, was very helpful with a “double tow” to get our caravan up a very greasy hill due to sudden rains. Enjoyed our time at the top of the ridge for 3 nights in our new van, the views were refreshing. Glad we had this opportunity no matter what the weather was like but was glad we were able to enjoy our walks and a toasty fire.
Absolutely required to be self sufficient but there is good mobile service and TV reception.
Take home all you bring and leave no footprints for others to enjoy. Will be back but in better conditions for that trek uphill.

Amazing view at the top of the hill! Epic night sky on a clear night. Short (but steep) drive up and pretty scenic drive to get there. Would recommend.

What a fabulous spot an hour out of Melbourne. Incredible views surrounded by rolling hills with trees. Sheep were cute walking through and saying hello. Would definitely stay again. Lilydale Pine Hill Caravan Park allow you to use their RV Dump Point for $16. That's the most convenient one if you're heading back to Melbourne

Stunning views. Andrew is a lovely host. We decided to stay without much notice and received a quick reply and booking confirmation. We stayed in a tent and although the ground is a bit hard we could get the tent pegs in easily enough with a rock. The dogs had a great time too. Got a bit windy at night but wasn’t a problem. Saw plenty of wildlife. Would happily go again.

We loved our stay at Eagle Ridge, it’s a beautiful spot with an amazing view of the Yarra valley. Lots of tracks for biking and hiking and Andrew was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you so much for having us, we will definitely be back.

We loved our stay! It certainly is a beautiful property. Andrew was a fabulous host and was right onto making sure everyone was able to have a great stay and felt safe. Our Nissan patrol managed fine up the hill with a 22ft caravan. We will be back!

Location was great. Flat land was at a premium though. We have a pretty big tent setup and was hard to find the perfect fit. Definitely more suited to caravans than tents.
Host was great. Patrolled the campgrounds and even reigned in some rowdy campers. (May of even booted them out as they left the next morning)
Views were great. Hot air balloons overhead in the morning and visiting sheep in the evening.

Great place to camp for groups of all sizes. Access is no worries but defs easier with AWD. Site is beautiful and one of the best gems close to Melbourne. Andrew is super accommodating and easy to communicate with. Had some massive wind come through overnight funned through the ridge so just make sure you check wind report for the area. Loved the site!

Andrew has a nice property with a hilltop view. A good place to use as a base for Yarra Valley. Little bit dusty and rocky for young kids, and if the wind picks up, it's not pleasant with no wind breaks. Internal track up to site would be a challenge/impossible for anything 2WD, and absolutely need a capable 4WD if towing a caravan. Plenty of space - was there with 2 other groups and had at least 100 metres between groups. Dog friendly with dogs off lead ok if well behaved.
Need to be 90% self-sufficient (grey water release was tolerated).
