The park was a very short stroll to the beach. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The cabin was very clean and tidy. Very tranquil area. Would highly recommend the caravan park.

Superior 1 Bedroom Villa
Geewhiz where do i start with this beautiful caravan park ! My husband and I had the deluxe cabin and it was amazingly spacious and very romantic. The park manager scott was very accommodating and went above and beyond to satisfy my husband and I . I can’t wait to return to this adorable caravan park for our 69th birthday in june !

Superior Ocean View 2 Bedroom Cabin
We stayed in a Superior Ocean View two-bedroom cabin. The place was cosy, clean, and super close to the beach. It’s only about a 5-minute drive to the Portarlington town centre too. All the staff were really friendly and helpful — big shoutout to Patrick for coming down to help us fix the DVD player. We had a really relaxing stay. The only small downside was the media setup. The TV and DVD player remotes were a bit confusing to use. It would be great if there were some simple instructions.

What really stands out is the new management. Scott and Crystal have made a noticeable difference since taking over. They are approachable, professional, and genuinely care about the guests and the park. You can see the pride they take in their work, and it shows in the improved organisation, cleanliness, and overall vibe of the place. Scott and Crystal go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcome and looked after, which really elevates the whole experience. It’s refreshing to see managers who are so hands-on and passionate about creating a great environment. Highly recommend Dylene Holiday Park, especially with Scott and Crystal at the helm. We’ll definitely be back!

Dylene Holiday Park in Portarlington is an absolute gem and well deserving of a 5-star review. The park is immaculately maintained, peaceful, and perfectly set up for a relaxing coastal getaway. Facilities are spotless, the grounds are beautifully kept, and the overall atmosphere makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. My partner, Marshal, especially loved the easy beach access, which was a huge highlight of our stay. A special shout-out to manager Scott and his lovely wife Lexi, who go above and beyond to make every guest feel at home. Their friendliness and genuine care truly set Dylene Holiday Park apart. Highly recommended—we can’t wait to return.

Staff were very nice. Pool was packed shoulder to shoulder. Amenities were disappointing with no hot water in ladies one night one, not well maintained. Men's bathroom with 4 showers and only one working. Overall look of park was underwhelming due to construction sites not being cleaned up. I certainly wouldn't let my child run around the park. Portarlington is beautiful and location was great but i am sorry i would not return.

I called in to ask if I could book for a weekend. The polite gentleman on the phone mentioned that I could secure the space for $160 for the two nights when it was advertised for $42 a night. When we got there I have never experienced anything like it. We have visited around 100 holiday parks and this was just entirely below expectation. The park itself was rundown with cracks on the cabins and they put us into the tiniest spot with no views but cracked cabin doors and water that was not working for an hour. The place was so horrible that we had to leave as soon as inspecting it and I had requested a refund due to the feeling of not being safe there. Anyone could access our area from the main street. I messaged them here on High camp app and yet not no response. I called and no answer. I’m not one to place negative reviews but due to their lack of response and responsibility I have to give this to place 0 stars. It is definitely not a safe or pleasant experience

We chose to leave this site immediately upon arrival as it felt unsafe and was entirely unsuitable for camping. The site looks nothing like the photos or description provided in the listing. > The main issues included: False Advertising: The actual site was a neglected area between dilapidated permanent caravans, not the camping environment shown online. Safety Hazards: There was warning tape around a damaged electrical box (our supposed power source). Poor Conditions: The ground was an old concrete slab littered with debris from a recently removed caravan. Privacy/Security: A group of permanent residents were drinking on our assigned site when we arrived. Note: We have taken photos of all these issues to document the discrepancy; unfortunately, this platform does not currently allow photo uploads with reviews. We did not stay as we felt unsafe, and the host has ignored our attempts to contact them. This venue is not fit for purpose and should be reviewed by the platform
