Set among bushland and coastal scenery, this peaceful campsite is a great base for exploring the river, estuary backwaters, beaches, and waterways of East Gippsland. You’ll find yourself close to water activities like boating, canoeing, and fishing at the river mouth or nearby beaches, while wide sandy shores and sheltered backwaters make for great spots to unwind, watch wildlife, or enjoy a picnic. The area’s natural beauty, expansive skies, and coastal forests make it ideal for nature lovers, photographers, birdwatchers, and anyone looking to escape the crowds. The setting is unpretentious and down-to-earth, with campers enjoying a simple, bush lifestyle close to water.
