Such a great site where you feel in the middle of nature but you're actually so close to home.
The gazebo, chairs and table are really good to have and mean you can pack even lighter!
Our dog loved exploring the area and having a swim in the water.

Beautiful property, access to the billabong is a little walk down the hill but not far. Great spot for large groups. Ground isnt very level for RTTs so bring something to help level if you need it. There was some old planks there for firewood that I used. When I booked it was forecast for 45 degrees so the owner agreed to refund one of the nights.

Great location. We picked up our animals from post entry quarantine & it was the perfect spot for transition before getting on the road to SA! Saw lots of Kangaroos on site & was navigable with our 23 ft caravan.

The campsite was good. Ground on a slight slope but enough flattish areas to pitch tents. Great set up with large Gazebo fitted out with lights, battery charger, projector screen, tables and chairs, BBQ. Great fire pits both big and small where we toasted marshmallows. Lovely billabong to sit by in the shade. The host Michael was fantastic with responding to messages and gave clear instructions to site. Close to Melbourne yet felt far away. Dog and kids had fun. Definitely recommend.

This was our second 🦊 Camp for our end of year celebrations at this spot.
Great choicec once again. Secluded, quiet, well set out campsite to be able support a group of young guys have a great time to blow off a little steam at the end of a very busy year.
BBQ'ing, swimming in the fantastic billabong, camp fires, beer, whiskey, music, impromptu cricket match and lots of laughs were had by all.
Thanks once again to our host Michael for allowing us to utilise his property once again.

We loved camping at the Boulder Brook Valley. Beautiful nature so close to the city. Nice setup, with flowing water, and the pergola was very handy. The planes didn't really bother us.

We loved camping at the Secret Garden (16 mates plus a dog!, all tent camping). So close to the city but with a secluded kind of vibe. Flat ground for tents was limited but we all made do just fine. The area and grounds are lovely and well maintained. BBQ and tables worked a treat. We didn't end up using any power on site so cannot comment but there was solar and a battery on site. The owner was extremely helpful in the lead up and very accomodating. Sunsets and plane spotting were fantastic. It was still a little chilly for us to get in the water but the spot itself was stunning. We'll be back!

A unique remote location but you are still close to Melbourne.
Plenty of space for a large group to camp and still have private space if they choose.
It's a really cool place but will only stay that way if we look after it.
A good camping motto is: "Always leave the campsite better than you found it".

This was a really beautiful site! Perfect for the dogs to run around and super lush. We had a great time with a group of 8 adults. When we arrived we did fill a whole garbage bag of rubbish that must of been left by past campers. I wouldn’t recommend if you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, the planes taking off are pretty consistent during the day and loud. We didn’t meet the host but they sent through all the info we needed and the site was easy to find.

This site really is spectacular. For nature lovers like us this was a hidden oasis. A lovely hut overlooked the river and lots of billabongs and creeks to explore. It was unfortunate that the previous campers who were there when we arrived and were reluctant to leave despite us coming a hour after our check in time had also drained the battery and gas bottle as well as learning human waste and toilet paper around. The owner was lovely and responsive but we were without power or gas for the night so I would recommend bringing backup. We still had a great evening the fire pits are well placed near the hut and lots of fallen branches around for kindling. We will definitely be back ❤️

Returning for my 2nd stay. The proximity to Melbournes suburbs is amazing. I love that authentic bush camping vibes can be achieved so close to home allowing for more time to unwind rather then time spent on the road getting to/from camp. I will be returning again 😁

This place is great. Easy run from the city, perfect block for our pooches to run around and great access to the river and billabong below camp. The pagola is a great addition for when you need to get out of the weather. Michael was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back.

This was our second time back in less than a year and we’ll be back again for sure! The gazebo meant that even with some bad weather we still had an awesome time. Such a beautiful property and clear instructions from the host make me it an easy getaway

Close to Melbourne, 10 mins from Tullermarine airport in a great setting. Perfect for a private tranquil getaway in great surroundings. Was absolutely perfect for our 2 dogs to roam around off leash as their first camping experience. Close to a river which would be great when flowing or in summer for swimming

Great spot. Nice set up. Private and lovely. A little tricky to navigate your way to the site.
Was hard to find a level spot for the caravan but made do. Bring your own firewood.
Had a great stay and looking forward to going back.

We loved our stay - we couldn’t believe how far away it felt yet so close to Melbourne. Truely a secret oasis. Great directions and communication from Michael. The gazebo and amenities were excellent. Loved the hammock too. Went for a swim and watched a beautiful sunset over the hills.

River was great with a few fish. Heaps of space. Rotunda was great to have. Drive down to the camp spot was a little tricky with the caravan but manageable

Great setup - the gazebo is an awesome size and really reduces the amount of stuff you need to take. Quick access to the Billabong and beautiful surroundings. Will be back!

Super close to all Melbourne has to offer. A stone throw from the airport in Tullamarine. Amazing views and bush feels.
I booked in for a one night midweek city escape and was very happy with the proximity to home - allowing for an easy commit to work the next morning. Will definitely be returning again.
Highly recommended for authentic bush feels, a bonfire pit big enough to fit logs the size of kegs 🔥, privacy and solitude, all on the urban fringe.
