Such an incredible spot camping near the creek. The bird life in the area is awesome also. Trent is a legend, super hospitable, definitely keen to come back!

Site 7 The water Hole
It was nice and peaceful. We enjoyed listening to the creek. Handy having the drop toilet also.
We ended up in a different spot to the one we booked ( booked site 7 ended up at Miners) due to it being very wet and muddy and the new spot was much more suitable for us with our caravan.
Little confusing when we got there, no one was there and no instructions. Trent did answer his phone and direct us when we called and called back later to check we were ok.
We appreciated the later “checkout” Trent allowed us to have so that we had time to dry off our stuff, unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there. Also appreciated the fire wood bought down by Trent, we tried to have a fire but the weather wasn’t obliging.
We would stay again.

Site 4: Salvador island
We tent camped at Salvador Island and it was great! Soft grass and flat land only 10-20 metres from the creek. We had a fire, we purchased wood ourselves. The drop dunny was very clean and comfortable!

Site 6: Old Bridge
At first impression, this hip camp can be a little bit misunderstood upon arrival. However, once you have your meet and greet where you are shown to your campsite by the friendliest owner, Trent, it’s a gem of a find! 💎
Campsite 6, near the old bridge, was a great spot right next to the river with access across the old bridge to explore the paddocks and collect fire wood on the other side. Cows are in those paddocks and when it wasn’t busy with other campers would come down multiple times for a drink and explore, which was lots of fun. Campsite 6 is one of the most level sites on grass with a fire bin provided and large fitting a pop out camper trailer, tent and two cars easily. It was a good distance to the toilet, not too close and not too far. The toilet is a single drop toilet that has been modernised to make it as pleasant as possible with toilet paper, water and sanitiser provided which was very appreciated. Trent was very accommodating for kids providing extra outdoor activities and suggesting the walking trial to the waterfalls which was a highlight. 🥾
No Telstra reception at all; new Optus towers just installed but it was a great off grid weekend away for us waking up to the beautiful birds, sun in the gums and water flowing down the river. Would recommend and go again. 👍

10 friends booked both sites 6 and 7 for Anzac long weekend and huddled around the camp fire next to the creek (site 7). We loved the tranquility and had an adventure going to the Narracan waterfall (watch out for the brambles). There were also Al pacas in the next paddock to our camp site which were very entertaining. Easy and fun drive from Melbourne. Trent and Matt were friendly hosts and we loved our stay.

We had a lovely Easter break camping at Site 4 at Trent’s place. Lovely spot with access to BBQ, fire pit, fire wood and plenty of space. Very pretty spot next to the lovely flowing creek. Great hosts, most welcoming and super helpful in recommending places to visit in the area. I would definitely recommend staying at Trent’s place.

This was our first-ever camping trip and it couldn’t have been better! We were the only campers on the site, which made it feel like our own private retreat. The place was peaceful, clean, and felt very safe throughout our stay. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully set up. It was the perfect introduction to camping—highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Will definitely be back!

We loved camping at BBQs of the world, it was so beautiful. Trent was the best host and taught us all about his biogas system which was so interesting! We also loved hanging with Flossie. 10/10 recommend

Trent's place is a really nice quiet escape, right on the river, with some lovely sites. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Trent was fantastic helping to ensure our 10 year old was kept entertained the whole time, lending him a bike and a 3-wheeler bike and, teaching him about fresh water crays and how to catch them. He even gave us some bait to put in the cray nets.
We had a really lovely time, with absolutely perfect weather and would definitely return in the future.

Excellent! Trent was a great host. Great property with lots of space. Even with other campers around you could still feel like you were away from everyone.
Nice stream to cool off in and made for a very relaxing soundtrack as well.
Our beagle had an absolute blast too! We'll likely be back...

This little slice of paradise offers all the things to make your stay relaxing. Several sites to choose from catering for any kind set up you have. Trent is an awesome host. We turned up after dark with a last minute booking and he was very accommodating. Assisted us with picking a spot for our van and making sure we were settled. The peace of mind you are looking for in a stay is provided here.
We will def be returning in the future and cant recommend this amazing spot highly enough.
Not to far out from town but far enough away for that relaxing feeling.

Beautiful bit of land. Tent camped at site 7 as I saw good reviews online and it didnt disappoint. Trent was lovely. Went for a walk around and there's plenty to explore.

We have a lovely weekend staying at bbqs of the world, it was quite and relaxing and the drop toilet is clean, the only thing is it rained but over all we have a fantastic stay, I highly recommend trent he was so very helpful and kind. We love meeting flossy too!

My friend and I had the best time at this campsite. The property was beautiful and my friend and I really enjoyed relaxing there and swimming in the creek. Trent was very helpful and welcoming, too - a truly excellent host. We can’t wait to come back and stay again soon.

Trent was a great host, he was so accommodating! He even went out of his ways to get us marshmallows, chips and chocolate!
Also there is alittle walking trail, an area you can go into the water (waterfall) and alpacas!! 🦙

This place is awesome. If you want peace and tranquility with a beautiful spring fed stream for you to enjoy, this is the place. Trent was an amazing host, extremely accomodating and went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay absolutely stunning. There is a drop toilet which was a nice addition and it was kept clean throughout our trip (something VicParks could learn from). And to top it all off Narracan Falls is a 3 minute drive away, which we spent a hot afternoon relaxing in the cool waters. I would definitely go back here. Thanks so much to Trent!!!!

Great spot. We stayed at site 7 next to the creek. Was refreshing to swim with a large spot for a couple of cars and a tent. Would highly recommend. Trent is great too!
