Great spot for our one night stopover. Big facilities building and lots of space to spread out. Convenient location for Hervey Bay - the road was a little loud but that didn't bother us in the van!

A great camp site that has a toilet. Plenty of flat ground both on grass or gravel. Yes there are horses in paddocks close by, but as a horse person I was hoping to see more equestrian activity, especially as I camped over a long weekend. Not a negative by any means but just a personal observation.
Good location close to local towns. It did get quite windy for one of the days and nights, as it is quite exposed, and I imagine this can be a regular thing.
I personally didn't have any interaction with the owners at all, but I don't mind being left to do my own thing.
The only negative was, that I didn't see the toilet getting cleaned at all during my stay, and I cleaned it twice myself due to other guests leaving it unclean.
I would stay again as it's very good value for money and a lovely rural setting with a lovely view.

Perfect spot for our one night stop over :) so pleased to have a flushing toilet considering the price! Absolutely awesome spot. Nice and flat, peaceful and felt safe. Would stay again if in the area :)

We booked Valmont Farms to base out of for three nights to see Launceston & surrounds. It was a well maintained area, very quiet & central for the things we did. 25 minutes to Tasmania Zoo, 25 minutes into Launceston.
Our host suggested Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm for a nearby cafe & it was fantastic!
We had dinner at the Carrick Inn Pub which was only 12 minutes away; great meal.
Toilet facilities for spotless on site. Would highly recommend to stay here if you prefer some privacy & quiet. Beautiful open space for the kids to ride bikes too.

Fantastic property. Would highly recommend if you enjoy peace and quiet. Lovely hosts who always shared a friendly wave. Flush toilet a bonus as are the horses etc on this farm.

What a great camp on this beautiful property. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax, then this is it. Horses, big old trees and mountain views that’s what you will see. Need to be self contained but there is a flushing toilet available. Very friendly hosts who give you a wave if they are going past.

Super easy to find, amazing to find somewhere that accepts tents, no contact with host is helpful for pulling in late and leaving early. Mostly flat gravel area and grassy area, toilet itself clean but the sink is right below where bird's nest so was a bit dirty. Not a bother, we have hand sanitizer. Great spot between Cradle Mountain and Hobart ish direction of you're looking for something easy.

The campsite is easy to access and has a simple bathroom (just one toilet with a sink), but it’s clean and well maintained. It’s the perfect spot for those who want to see the Northern Lights or a beautiful sunrise. There is no reception, check-in, or check-out — I only sent a message through the app to inform my arrival and departure, but never received a reply. In the morning we saw some farm workers taking care of the animals, but no one interacted with us. Overall, it’s a simple and practical place, ideal just for spending the night in your car or trailer while on a road trip.

A good simple no fuss camp for an overnighter or a few days. I stayed for 3 nights during the agfest field days. Toilet was clean and the grounds were spacious.

Overall was a good experience with good clean flushing toilet. The downside was that the 5 sites were listed as seperate spaces with plenty of space between each. The reality is that none of the sites were marked and after we had set up our van, the next camper came in and pitched there tent just 1 meter from our Vehicle. I did not expect a camper to set up so close and was disapointed that this was allowed to happen. This tent set up made it difficult to hook up our van when we were ready to move. We paid for 2 nights however only stayed 1 night and mover to another camp ground were we had the space which we paid for. Cheers Col

What a great place to stay very quiet and peaceful and a great spot to base yourself to do some touring around the towns of Longford, Westbury and Beaconsfield. Lovely hosts ready to make you feel welcome would definitely recommend.

A massive thanks to India and Kieren for making available, a tent-friendly, affordable and well maintained site relatively close to Launceston. It was lovely to wake up to the neigh of horses and to watch a working agistment farm, especially for a city-slicker like me. I’d definitely stay there again.

Perfect site at Valmont Farms, thanks India. Being able to pitch on the grass beside the trees was great. Ground was solid and reasonably flat and level. Ideal spot to explore out to Woolmers and Bickenden historic estates, Liffey Gorge and the Western Tiers plateau. Music late into the evening was a bit of annoyance, but now understand it came from a distant music festival and wasn't too bad.

We loved our three nights at Valmont Farm! It was so beautiful to sit and watch the horses and cattle. We were the only ones there. Flushing toilets with basin very welcome. It was so close to Launceston (20 mins) and also Liffey Falls. Took me back to my childhood watching the equestrian lessons on Sunday morning.

Lovely quiet farm stay Easy to find park and enjoy. Being there in Jan meant we had pick of the paddock under the beautiful willow trees Watched the kids ride their ponies and patted the horses grazing. Highly recommended

Loved that the area we chose was the gravel car park, and was flat. The facilities provided were clean. The views were amazing and the farm was about 10 mins from town.
