✨ Welcome to Inglis River Caravan and Camping Retreat ✨ 🌿 Nestled beside the peaceful Inglis River just 6 minutes from Wynyard, our secluded 15-acre hideaway is the perfect escape from the busy world. With open paddocks, shady forest, curious wildlife 🦘 and a few friendly farm animals 🐑🐓 who love a treat, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise. 💦 Cool off with a swim in the river, race down our downhill bike track 🚴‍♂️, cast a line 🎣, paddle a kayak 🛶, or toast marshmallows by the fire 🔥. At night, kick back and stargaze ✨ under Tasmania’s clear skies. 👧🦄 The kids will love our Tassie Tiger treasure hunt 🐯, fairy garden 🧚and playground — plenty of fun and adventure to keep little explorers busy! Whether you’re out discovering the local sights or simply switching off and unwinding 🧘, you’ll find peace, fun and connection here 🏕️ ⛺ We offer self-contained camping only and provide locked gated access 🔒 for your privacy and peace of mind. ⚠️ Before booking please note: Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet 🚻 and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure 🗑️. The nearest waste dump point is at Goldie St Wynyard, adjacent to the Waste Transfer Station. This paddock has 8 undesignated sites, giving you the freedom to arrive, spread out and choose the perfect spot for yourself or your group 🏕️ You’ll be only steps away from the communal fire pit 🔥 ideal for toasting marshmallows and swapping stories and the rope swing, always a hit with kids and the young at heart. The nearby Fairy Walk, a whimsical trail through the trees, starts just around the corner and leads to Campsite 3 🧚 With flat terrain, sunny exposure, and river access on both sides River Flats is one of our most loved spots. Children 3 and under camp free 4WD is required if towing Front-wheel drive motorhomes are not suitable for this paddock due to traction issues when exiting
