Heart of Tassie Hideaway

This is a remote and beautiful part of Tasmania, in fact, it's right in the very middle of Tasmania! It features a stunning eucalyptus forest and vast grasslands fronting one of Tasmania's best trout fishing spots. There is a huge diversity of native flora and fauna and it is within 30 minutes of some of Tassie's favourite hiking destinations, as well as being right beside the Brady’s Lake slalom kayaking course. Explore the area on foot, or by kayak or canoe. Go fishing. Do some forest bathing. Watch wombats, wallabies and, maybe if you're lucky spot an elusive Tassie Devil. Or simply sit by a warm campfire and soak in the serenity. At this time, we can only accept self-contained campers who have their own camp toilet and can take all waste with them. And pets welcome! We look forward to welcoming you to our hideaway in the heart of Tasmania.
