Campsites are alongside Franklin Rivulet- a picturesque tidal estuary in northern TAS. At Farm on Franklin you can enjoy fishing, kayaking, bushwalking, bird watching, oystering (please cook them), and wildlife spotting. We are 15mins to Port Sorell, Bakers Beach, Narawntapu National Park, and House of Anvers Chocolate Factory. 25mins to Devonport, 1hr to Launceston, 1.5hrs to Cradle Mt and surrounded by attractions from Berry Farms to Wineries and stunning farmland. This is a beautiful natural campsite on land near our home. You'll need to have your own power, toilet/shower and leave no trace. We've had 18 months off, but we're back and hope to see you soon! This is a natural campground situated near our residence along the estuary - the land is gently undulating both directions - down to the water and up to a densely wooded hill.  There are large shade trees and open areas. Fresh herbs, plants, veg and eggs will be available in the future.  The fishing can be good and we offer kayak hire too - it’s a fantastic spot to take a trip up or down the river in a kayak around high tide. Our property is open by appointment only. Pets welcome.   Please ensure you ‘leave no trace’. Thanks! No boats to be launched here please (narrow channel and submerged hazards).  The closest boat ramps are Squeaking Point and Port Sorell. Kayaks welcome.
