Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We are situated in the Meander Valley foothills of the Great Western Tiers, with a beautiful view of Mother Cummings Peak. We have six sites available that will suit fully self-contained caravans, motorhomes, or slide-on campers. This is our piece of paradise, and we thought it was worthy of sharing with others. Huntsman Lake is approximately 8 km up the hill, and both Meander Falls and Liffey Falls are among the many hiking trails available in our area. We are only 15 minutes from the beautiful cultural town of Deloraine, which hosts a Woolworths supermarket and numerous eateries.

This is a perfect spot to stay if you want peace and quiet and you want to reconnect to nature. There are cows in the paddock next door so you can sit and watch the sun go down while the cows quietly munch away. Then you are rewarded with a million stars up above while you sit around the big fire pit that is provided. It is so handy to the Meander store and cafe and several bushwalks are a short drive away or you can just walk around the property admiring the funky art pieces and the old trucks and cars. Definitely recommend.

This campsite is just down the road from the Meander store and cafe and close to national parks for day trips. We stayed with other family members (on another site) and we all loved how quiet and beautiful the property is. The gardens are so well maintained and the road in was so smooth. We loved all the old trucks and cars around the property as they make great backdrops for photos. We made the trip into Deloraine for lunch one day which only took about 20 minutes. So much to see and do around this area. Thomo is a very accommodating host. Will definitely return.

Stunning piece of paradise

This property has pristine lawn, thanks to the little electric robot mowers running around. It is like camping in a pristine garden with quirky garden sculptures, beautiful roses and a wooden gazebo. We managed to take some amazing photos of old trucks and cars against stunning sunrises and sunsets. I can imagine how beautiful it is when there is snow on the mountains in the background. The owners have planted rows of trees which will also make stunning backdrops for photos as well. The communal campfire was sensational and gave us the opportunity to gather with the rest of our group and talk about our day. Can’t wait to return.
