Come and camp on this designated site on a 10 acre property, located just over an hour from Adelaide. Campers will enjoy a 180 degree view of the Murray River as well as the lights and silos of Tailem Bend at night. This campsite is for self contained camper who bring their own facilities and leave no trace. There is plenty to do and see in the area including fishing, strolling and bird-watching. There are a choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes in town. A short drive out of town on the Princes Highway takes you to Old Tailem Town, a pioneer village whose 90 restored buildings vividly capture the early days of Mallee settlement. A scenic drive and ferry crossing leads to Jervois and the chance to taste some of the south-east's finest cheeses.
