We have the Murray River on our property so swimming in the river is a great experience. Please do not book if you have children in your group. We’re the perfect stop-off point if you’re traveling from Melbourne or Sydney to Adelaide…or … The perfect Basecamp for short trips, with most places of interest surrounding Adelaide much easier to access without traffic lights from our location just 50 minutes from the city. We can offer you all the facilities you need to make your stay stress free with our easy going approach. With large sites, stay hitched up if you wish…… Room to Relax. Well-behaved pets are welcome. With big shady trees and awesome views of the Murray River, Waterfront Holiday Park is the perfect place to just relax and unwind. With no jumping castles or playgrounds onsite, adult relaxation is our focus. The Park’s privately owned river frontage includes a boating harbor and boat ramp which is perfect for a morning paddle or water skiing all day. Our backwater is also home to many birds including swans, ducks, pelicans, and many more. Within short driving distance are major attractions including The Bend Motorsport Park, Old Tailem Town, Monarto Safari Park, The Coorong, and The National Motor Museum. The Barossa, Adelaide Hills, and Langhorne Creek wine regions with many quality cellar doors in each area. In Tailem Bend town center you will be delighted at the quality of food and coffee at numerous locally owned and operated cafes, restaurants, bakery, and hotels.

A very beautiful place with an incredible view of the river, very peaceful except for the noise of cars on the road at night. However, I really liked this place for camping. I think I will return.

Never stayed there. Refund policy was so strict that I couldn't cancel with a month out from reservation date without losing 100% of the accomodation cost. I understand the hassle of bookings and should have checked the policy before booking, I just had never experienced such a strict refund policy before. Pics looked good, I'm sure its a nice place.

This place is clean, the bathrooms are great, and the front gates ensure it is safe. I was in a tent, and the noise from the highway snd the 24hr service station, about 30m away, made a peaceful night sleep nearly impossible.

I had a wonderful night at the campsite with my car. I was warmly welcomed by Evan, who recommended a short walk down by the water and I’m so glad I followed his advice! I got to enjoy a magical sunset, and being surrounded by nature was such a special experience. The campground is really well-equipped. The bathroom and shower facilities are incredibly clean and look brand new. There's also a small cabin where you can eat ,with everything you might need for camping.
 Highly recommend this place!!

Okay so the park is right on a highway next to a very busy petrol station that trucks use and park at. There was also building works going on all day during my stay. That's the downside if you let it be. The upside is the clean amenities, well kept areas, close to areas of interest, wood in the communal firepit area, right on the Murray and yippee for me, a lovely grassed area for my tent. First decent tent spot I've had in two months of travel. The size of the bays are generous too which means off course that you are not on top of one another. Something the big caravan parks tend to do all too often. I would happily camp there again if in the area.

Lovely grounds. Great staff. Large caravan sites. Bathrooms very clean, with little extras like atomisers, mirrors and plants. Evan full of knowledge of the towns, where to eat etc. Only one night but would come again. Felt very comfortable

Wonderful, clean safe park. We had site near highway so heard the night traffic which would have been the only downside. The amenities were great, we will be back with some water activities for the lake.

I had a great time at Hicamp. The facilities were first rate. The toilets and showers were clean and well presented. The scenery over the river was fantastic, especially at sunset. The camp sites were smooth and spacious. There was shade from a few trees over my site, but plenty of room for tents or caravans and a car. It is a short drive to the Bend Motor sports park and there are several choices nearby for excellent food. I hope to be back again soon for more motorsport action and an enjoyable stay at Hicamp. Thanks for looking after me.

Beautiful park. A credit to Evan And Cathy We had 3 nights, based-ourselves here to explore Hahndorf, and surrounding areas, Strathablyn, Meningie areas We stayed on site 8 overlooking the Murray in a 21:6 ft van. Beautiful grass site Was windy 2/3 nights. Just out of town maybe 2 km, but we walked in. Next door to a roadhouse that has a restaurant It’s On hwy but never noticed traffic We would recommend this park so book your site And happy camping :)

It was the most convenient camping ever in Australia! I always tell everyone that it did feel like a 5 star hotel there! The location, staff, specially the cleanliness is more than what we’ve expected! Beautiful!!!!

The camp-site is beautiful, Lovejoy greenery and exceptionally clean. The only draw back was being so close to the road and hearing trucks all night.

The park is average with no children play facilities whatsoever. Just one communal toilet was also a challenge to walk to from far away sites for the children in the dark. Although the sites were large, the owner, unlike other holiday park owners, does not like guests to do many things. First being not lay down large tent and gazebo mats, so you’ll just have to do with the groud as is. Secondly, there is no mention of electric vehicle’s usage & charging in the premises. We arrived with an electric vehicle with a tent and used the 15Amp power outlet to charge as well as power pur camping accessories. The owner came down abusing and accusing us of ‘electricity stealing’, which we strongly objected to. Told him firmly to mention all his objections on booking provider apps and online so guests are aware of what to expect. I personally am going to take some legal action on him accusing us of stealing when we clearly booked a powered site. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOLIDAY PARK.

We loved staying at this place. It was quite, peaceful, and comfortable. There is no activities at the property such as water skiing or kayaking, but you can bring your own to enjoy. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. We went to the nearby pub and get to know some locals. Overall, it was enjoyable stay.

Evans and Cathy's place is perfect. We have stayed extra nights ontop and recommended our mates meet us here. The showers and toilet block is super clean and well stocked. Will deffinatly come back

We had a wonderful stay and were very impressed with how clean the amenities were. All staff and Cathy were very friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend staying here. We stayed on the Clifttop site and the views from our caravan were stunning. Having our morning coffees sitting outside the van on the well kept grass area overlooking the river viewing the bird life and river was very therapeutic and relaxing. We will definitely return for further getaways and it was so nice and quiet.

A few friends and I had a wonderful time this long weekend, we had a back in site and it was perfect size for us. We were pleasant to see that the bathrooms and facilities were modern and extremely clean and had everything we need such as washing machines, dryers, and everything we needed to wash dishes. There were also plenty of fire pits and fire wood fires that we could use. The owners and staff were lovely and welcoming. 10/10 would highly recommend

We had a fantastic stay here. A short walk to the water for a swim. The amenities were lovely and clean. I couldn’t fault our time there would highly recommend staying here
