My family and I absolutely loved camping out in our caravan right next to the water and waking up to the sunrise each morning reflecting off of the cliff faces of the Murray River. Our host Susan was lovely and very informative of the area amd even let us borrow a small row boat to explore the lagoon with.

There was a large variety of bird life around. It was a lovely secluded spot, our dogs enjoyed paddling in the water and running around playing. Caught some fish and fed them to the pelicans. Very relaxing, look forward to visiting again in the future

Susan's property is the perfect place to relax and recharge mentally. This weekend saw plenty of fish caught, an abundance of birdlife, 2 happy hounds and 4 well rested adults 😄 this was our 2nd visit and we plan on returning many times. One of our favourite hipcamp spots!

This is a perfect spot for a few days getaway with the dogs.
The campsite is fully fenced and you have your own private spot on the river.
Out dogs had a ball. Thanks Susan for your hospitality.

Went away for a relaxing weekend and got exactly that! Friendly host, perfect camp-site riverside, the only sounds were the birdlife and frogs. Boys fished, I birdwatched and the dogs lived their best life exploring as the property is completely fenced. We even had a kangaroo come to observe us at the fence. Perfect weekend away and have already booked our return trip! Thankyou Susan for sharing your property with us 😊

Tipsy Hill
Tipsy Hill is the perfect place to camp with your dog. Private fenced site with a small jetty ideal for fishing and swimming and not having to keep your dog on a leash. The hosts are very nice and leave you to do your own thing.

Wonderful private river front camping. Friendly and accommodating host. Dogs allowed - a great bonus that area is securely fenced with a gate so doggos can explore freely without the worry that they will wander off.

A lovely private spot right on the water. No one else around. Good for dogs as all fenced around. Host was easy to deal with. Beautiful dark sky view.

Serenity... how's the serenity. Away from the main river traffic in a quiet back water. Abundant bird life good fishing too. Secure area for pets.

A beautiful spot to just relax. Plenty of flat space to set up, sit down and take in the water view, the wildlife and at night the stars.
Hosts were super easy to communicate with.
It is exactly what we love about hipcamp, access to absolutely stunning spots without the crowds.
Would definitely recommend and love to return.

Was a lovely spot that had a gate for our Kelpie to run around safely. The lagoon was great for us to swim and SUP board. Overall a lovely little spot.

Beautiful spot to stay, the access to the river was great. Our dogs absolutely loved it, only downside it is lots of prickles so have been picking those out ever since.
Driveway is quite steep heading down and out, keep in mind for larger caravans (we got out alright but could have been an issue if it was too wet etc)
Absolutely recommend if you have some nice weather and love a fish!

Tipsy Hill was excellent! Wonderful spot by the Murray. Great fishing and just sitting by the river with a drink in Hand. Just off the main river too so was quiet the whole weekend. Fenced off area so dogs can run around without wandering too far. Susan was awesome and really helpful throughout the entire stay. Definitely consider staying if you're after some quiet nights/days by the river !!

Superb river front location, so very peaceful and relaxing, our second time here and we’re blessed with beautiful weather, most days were glassy calm with nature calling every morning.
Our host Susan is just so lovely and helpful, highly recommend for off grid campers, check Hosts conditions for suitability.

A fabulous location to enjoy serenity and the river wildlife. Set in a rear lagoon, this site offers complete privacy. No facilities so bring everything including your bathers kayak or canoe. No shade after 2pm. We loved this place.

My Labrador and I loved our stay at Tipsy Hill. Perfect location along the river for a swim and a day on the paddle board. Susan was a great host. Very friendly and gave us full privacy for the weekend. The shade of the gumtree over the picnic table was perfect for the 38 degree weather. The only downside was the wasp nest in the tree hollow, but they were quite calm and didn’t bother us too much. 10/10 stay

We loved the privacy right on the waters edge.
Perfect for our 2 Golden retrievers to just wander around that section. There's a gate to contain them in an area.
