This site is about 10x10 metres and about a 30 second walk to the toilet and one minute to the camp kitchen. You will see the sun set against the cliffs which rise up on the other side of the bubbling creek and you may well spot sulfur crested cockatoos, magpies, parrots and even occasionally yellow tailed black cockatoos enjoying the many river red gums on the farmstay. Our most secluded sites, looks out on to the highest point of our cliffs and is directly overlooking the creek. This site is in the creek basin itself and just metres away from the bubbling creek. This site is about 15x10 metres and about a two minute walk up hill to the toilet and one minute to the camp kitchen. A note on access: to gain access to the site you'll need to drive across our lawns. We'd like to keep traffic to a minimum so once your camper is set up, please use the car park higher up for your car - or keep your in and out travel to an absolute minimum. You will see the sun set against the cliffs which rise up on the other side of the bubbling creek and you may well spot sulfur crested cockatoos, magpies, parrots and even occasionally yellow tailed black cockatoos enjoying the many river red gums on the farmstay. You will have ready access to the grassy area near the creek as well for recreation but do note that at this time of the year our sheep are freely grazing across the property - so don't be surprised to see a fluffy friend or two. *** Note - this site is directly beside the creek. Suitable for vans up to 5m long (on concrete) and 8m long on the dirt.

** warning - magpies were observed swooping this site mid Sept 2025 ** Adjacent to our fruit orchard and a close walk to our loo, this unpowered elevated site is supported by a vast raised pad and looks down into the valley and the creek. Perfect for caravans, this site is huge at about 6 x 14 metres usable space and about a one minute walk down hill to the toilet and to the camp kitchen. There's room to stay hitched on to your car if you prefer or park adjacent to your van. We're still top dressing the pad so no grass yet - so for now, bring your ground sheet mats and folding chairs to enjoy the view. You will see the sun set against the cliffs which rise up on the other side of the bubbling creek and you may well spot sulfur crested cockatoos, magpies, parrots and even occasionally yellow tailed black cockatoos enjoying the many river red gums on the farmstay. Note that our sheep are freely grazing across the property - so don't be surprised to see a fluffy friend or two. This site is suitable for camper trailers, camper vans and caravans large and small.

Our overflow sites are set back further up the hill and have spectacular views of valleys and ancient red river gums. They will not be completely level and you’ll need wheel ramps to level up and you’ll need to be fully self contained and off grid. You’ll have at least 5x15 metres of space and be not more than and about a two minute walk down hill to the toilet and a little further to the the camp kitchen. You will have ready access to the grassy area near the creek as well for recreation but do note that our sheep are freely grazing across the property - so don't be surprised to see a fluffy friend or two. These sites are suitable for camper trailers and all sizes of caravans. NOT level for tents. Group booking are welcome - fitting max 6 caravans / camper trailers. Experience pure tranquility overlooking the grassy banks of Mount Barker Creek. This custom-built site is your perfect escape, offering a unique blend of comfort and nature. Step onto your **private earth deck**, perched directly above the creek, and immerse yourself in the serene sounds of the water. With multiple seating areas, a massive firepit surrounded by permanent seating, and a dedicated picnic table with cushioned chairs, you have plenty of spots to relax and reconnect. The spacious caravan is thoughtfully laid out to accommodate the whole family. The **Kids Wing** features triple bunks with a ladder, providing a fun, private space for children. The separate **Master bedroom** has a comfortable double bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The caravan is fully equipped for a hassle-free stay. The kitchen includes a **gas stove, oven, large fridge/freezer**, sink, and meal prep area and ample camping cutlery and crockery and cookware. You’ll also find a **stand-alone internal shower, toilet, vanity basin, and a washing machine**, so you can truly feel at home. Bedding and towels are NOT supplied so please bring your own sleeping bags or sheets, quilts and pillow cases and towels. We can provide these for you for an additional fee if required. For those who love the great outdoors, there's ample room on the front lawn for camping. Feel free to bring your swags or a small tent to expand your adventure. **kids stay FREE**, making this an ideal family getaway. You'll have **shared access to the adjacent camp kitchen**, which is fully equipped with a gas BBQ and all the supplies you need for outdoor cooking. **Please Note:** * **Parking:** A drop-off and unloading area is available next to the camp kitchen. Niagara Falls @creekside RV/Camping
We recently stayed on the Niagara Falls campsite, and it was a refreshing escape. We managed to get our caravan into the site without too much difficulty, and there was still plenty of space for our other family staying in tents. The toilets are about 50 metres away (just a little uphill walk). What truly makes this spot special though is the stream that runs alongside the campsite and the soothing sound of the waterfall. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of rushing water was absolutely magical and good for the soul. Even though the farm is close enough to the city that you might notice planes overhead, the natural setting more than makes up for it - the peaceful atmosphere and the sounds of the frogs take centre stage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Sunset Rocks Farmstay to anyone looking for a relaxing, nature filled getaway with a touch of convenience.

What a magical spot!!! It was peaceful, picturesque and we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves! Although it was steep getting down to the sites, Steve went out of his way to offer us help, guidance and even put gravel down before we arrived In anticipation of the rain we would be receiving. Would definitely recommend having a 4WD if towing in the wet and with a caravan and you’ll be absolutely fine. We can’t wait to come back and switch off and take in this beautiful little place all over again! Highly recommend!

Sunset Rocks is a little hidden gem. So close to the heart of Mt Barker yet you feel so far from anywhere. It's a great place to sit back, unwind and take a stroll along the creek. The little Eco toilet is a lovely touch and gives a little of the creature comforts. Host Steve and his family were really lovely and happy to help in any way needed.

We had a truly amazing stay at Steve's camp. He was on hand to welcome us and show us to the site. This spot is beautiful and quiet, with amazing amenities (toilet and camp kitchen). Steve was extra accommodating when we asked to change our original booking dates due to bad weather. We will definitely be back!

We had the most relaxing stay at Sunset Rocks. We stayed right by the creek in our camper trailer, which was super easy to access. We enjoyed the sound of running water to fall asleep to and the sounds of birds in nearby trees to wake up to. We took our dog on walks along the creek edge, set up a campfire to keep ourselves warm and enjoyed a pack of Steve’s sausages for dinner. We can’t wait to come back sometime soon!

Our sites was perfectly positioned along the creek, giving you that soothing water sound day and night. The property is well-kept but not overdeveloped, so you still feel like you’re in nature, not someone’s backyard. We took a lovely walk along the creek which the kids all loved! The host Steve is very welcoming but not overbearing, he was friendly and helpful at check-in, clear instructions, and then we were left to enjoy the space. Steve checked in with us on the morning of departure to let us know there were no incoming bookings and we could enjoy the space for a little longer into the day if we would like! The long drop toilet was extremely clean and provided soap and running water. The little “camp kitchen” area with BBQ facilities was a great bonus and made meal prep easy! Fire pit was provided (we brought our own fire wood but is optional to purchase) and we sat under the stars and let the world go by! This campsite definitely offered a relaxed, low key camping experience! We’ll absolutely be recommending it to family and friends! Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with us Steve! All the best with your camping venture!

Beautiful camping spot, right near a flowing creek…what a calming sound! Steve is very responsive and accomodating. From the first communications to leaving the property Steve was extremely friendly. A small and functional “camp kitchen” with clean BBQ was great and a very clean long drop if needed. It’s a picturesque property and we had a lovely time wondering along the creek. Unfortunately (as much as we need it) the rain dampened 😉 our stay and we couldn’t fully make the most of the use of kayaks etc but would definitely recommend a stay here! Thank you Steve!

Lovely peaceful spot. Spent a very relaxing few days camping here with the sound of the flow creek and sheep and an alpaca nearby. Easy drive to sights of the Adelaide Hills. Host, Steve, very friendly and helpful. Wood available to purchase to have a cosy campfire.

Lovely quiet spot next to the creek- we all fell asleep to the sounds of the water flowing by. Toilet very clean, camp kitchen and seating area nearby was well set up. Biggest highlight for the kids was the two canoes that were available to paddle along the creek- lots of fun exploring and adventuring. Kids fed the sheep with Steve’s help. Great spot for a quiet time away

Overflow caravan sites: near sheds
We absolutely loved our stay at Sunset rocks! We have a 21 foot off road caravan and Steve found the perfect spot for us on his property. Steve welcomed us with such a wonderful positive attitude. The area was peaceful with the right mix of nature and comfort. The kids really enjoyed the afternoon animal feeding! It was such a peaceful experience to be surrounded by nature & animals. You can tell Steve really cares about his camper’s, animals and the land. Steve was super friendly, responsive, and made us feel right at home. We'll definitely be back!
