We loved the secluded nature of the space, even with other campers there we didn't feel boxed in. Lots of bird life! Ideally need to be self sufficient, although you can use the toilets up at the cellar door/cucina. We ate lunch at the restaurant and it was delicious Italian food.

This place is truly heaven on earth. Such a beautiful and super proper farm, very peaceful and got everything you need like clean toilets and water. Charlie, the host, is a super inspiring and relaxed italian guy who worked hard to build God‘s Hill- which it truly is. Would absolutely recommend this place. It also has a very nice Restaurant run by the Family. Felt very welcome and had great talks with Charlie. Thanks a lot for this wonderful hospitality!

Our experience at Gods Hill Winery has left us completely lost for words, something we don’t say lightly. From the moment you arrive, the views take your breath away. It instantly becomes clear why it’s called Gods Hill. The setting truly feels divine. Yet somehow, even with views like this, the food, wine, and people still manage to steal the show. The food and wine were genuinely the best we have ever tasted. Edward is an extraordinary chef. Every dish was thoughtful, fresh, and unforgettable. He honestly deserves a Michelin star. From the second you walk in, Rhylan makes you feel instantly welcome. His energy is infectious, his warmth genuine, and his humour had us laughing from the very beginning. He sets the tone for the entire experience. And then there is Charlie. Truly one of a kind. The wisdom and kindness he shared with us will stay with us long after we’ve left. You can feel that everything here is done with love, generosity, and intention. It’s rare to find a place where passion isn’t just spoken about, but deeply lived. We ended up staying an extra night because we simply couldn’t bring ourselves to leave. We left feeling not like guests, but like family.We genuinely cannot recommend this family-run gem highly enough. I will be telling every single person I come across about it. We are so grateful for our time here and already cannot wait to return. We will be lifelong customers and friends. Arrivederci

A stunning winery and farmland setting, just a couple of minutes drive into the beautiful town of Lyndoch. A friendly warm welcome from the owner who guided us down to the private and well protected site. A stunning sunset capped off a lovely overnight stay. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our tent camping at Gods hill, facilities were great and the pitch had an amazing view. Charlie the host was excellent and always on hand if you had a question or to offer great advice on local things to do. I would stay again if heading to the Barossa valley.

Beautiful location, plenty of space. Great if you're self contained. Toilet and drinking water available if required.
Perfectly convenient for a lazy afternoon on the premisis drinking wine and tasting all the restaurant has to offer with only a 200m walk home!

Most gorgeous stay at God’s Hill Wines. Set between the gums and the vines, we had a perfect backdrop to enjoy their third generation Shiraz The estate is absolutely beautiful with vines lush with follage and grape berries just starting to develop. Charlie was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Owners Charlie and Ennia truly made our stay unforgettable with their warmth and hospitality. We shared a coffee in the morning and reminisced over their life and vineyard journey. This experience was so special and memorable that we’re already planning our return. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Amazing views. Private camp site but so close to wildlife and cellar door. Fantastic location with Lyndoch only a short walk away. Charlie and his team were so friendly. My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer.

We loved camping at God’s Hill. A quick 50min trip from the city to a beautiful location. The stunning vista over vines and rolling hills made the most relaxing stay. A nice walk into to town for a brewery stop and a quick drive to Tanunda for a browse of the shops. The best part was being able to walk up to the restaurant for delicious wood oven pizzas, antipasto and beautiful wines. Charlie and co hosted us wonderfully. Highly recommend for self sufficient campers. We booked the Wally site and toilet is about 150mtr from camp spot, behind the restaurant. The site is maintained beautifully. We had it to ourselves with friends which made it wonderful. Thank you Charlie and co for opening up your beautiful site and looking after us. Such a relaxing weekend away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at God's Hill. We parked our campervan near the vines and had a gorgeous sunset view over the land.
Ennia Cucina was a short walk away from camp where we enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting with Rhylan and a delicious lunch.

Beautiful views. Great set up with winery and pizza restaurant on site for those wanting something with more fancy than camp food (11am-4pm). Accommodating hosts. Clean and well stocked flushing toilet at the restaurant available for hipcampers. Plenty of birds and skippys on site. Recommended A+

We loved staying here in our caravan! The views were absolutely stunning. It was peaceful and quiet. It was an easy process to get there and being shown to our spot.
My daughter loved spotting the kangaroos!

Friendly host who went out of his way to make us comfortable and welcome.
Beautiful site: it doesn’t get much more awesome than sunrise in the vineyard.
Easy walking distance to Lyndoch and a good base for full day hikes to Tanunda or other parts of the Barossa !

Whilst the outlook was lovely, there was no level area to position a vehicle or a tent. No fires were allowed, contrary to the written description on the Hipcamp site. The toilets were located up the hill behind the house. We were essentially camping in their front yard ? The whole experience didn’t equate to a fee of $60 or what we expect from Hipcamp.

Brilliant camping spot. Kangaroos at dusk, stunning sunset and surrounds and an even better host. Wish we had more time there to experience the food, we bought heaps of their amazing wine. Highly recommended, better if your fully self contained it is a hike to the one toilet.
