Great location, best opportunity to spend time on the farm amongst the animals and nature. We are a small Farmstay in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula just out side Victor Harbor in Waitpinga. Powered and unpowered sites have use of bathroom facility. Waggon Flat campers do not have access to facilities. Limited Telstra ph service and wifi. And For Something New, Your welcome to visit our Onsite Distillery. Moo's Distillery is open Friday's to Sunday to taste new and vibrant Gins. If your hungry also try a pizza for Dinner. ***** We welcome you to make a booking with us at Breakaway Farmstay but when booking please make sure all your details are correct. So we do not have to decline the booking due to incorrect details. Also after you have placed a booking please check your messages to see if we have responded to you at some stage. We look forward to seeing you at Breakaway Farmstay Check in from time from 1.00pm. Check out is strictly 10.30 unless pre organised with management. Close to anything you would like to do in this fantastic part of the state of South Australia. From fishing to surfing to long walks on the Heysen Trail or wine tasting and whale watching, there is everything here you would ever want to do. On the farm you will be able to see our animals which include Sheep, cows, chooks, ducks, goats, alpaca - all are very hungry and looking for pats! Sorry we don't allow pets. Campfires permitting (depending on local fire restrictions). All Rubbish is to be taken home by campers, with the policy of what you bring you take home and leave nothing. It was a great relaxing weekend. No phone coverage and it really allows you to switch off and relax. Kids were able to be kids and enjoy nature. Rob was great and the distillery was wonderful.

We came two years ago to Wagon Flat #1 and loved it more on the return. Flat with wavy field grass and yellow flowers, plenty of space for kids to roam around.

Was greeted in the distillery less than a 2-minute walk from the campsite. Very clean toilet close to the camps (30 second walk) and more at the distillery. Camp site is a private, large space on grass and good soil for tents, with a fire pit and beautiful views of highland cows, sheep, fields and hills. Distillery offers meals and a great, comfortable place to sit and watch the sunset and the cows with a warm fire. We will 100% be returning and all agree that it has been our favourite stay in SA. 10/10 ✨🐮

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful spot. It was such a peaceful location, Rob was really welcoming and there was a mix of feeling off grid but also having some facilities nearby if we wanted to use them. The fire pit was a nice touch as well. We only had a couple of days but felt like we could spend a week there.

Great farm stay. Very relaxing and quiet. Nice and close to Victor Harbour. Toilet, shower facilities (both exceptionally clean), power, water made things easy. Phone reception and internet not great if this is an issue for you, wasn’t for us. Rob the host is a real gentleman. Loved watching the goats and the highland cows while having a drink by the fire each evening.

Absolutely gorgeous and picturesque spot! Surrounded by stunning scenery and amazing animals, it truly felt like a little slice of paradise. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and the location itself is just beautiful. Best of all, we didn’t even need to cook – Moo’s Distillery on the property served up the most delicious food. A perfect stay and we’d love to return again!

We loved staying at Breakaway Farmstay. The view were amazing. Facilities are really good. We loved our cozy lunch sitting by the fire in the Distillery. Robert was a great host.

Loved this beautiful place to stay just out of Victor Harbour. On this weekend just gone we had the whole area to ourselves, except for the magpies, highland cows and goats which were all very friendly. 😊 Rob and Tracey were so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend this location, we will definitely be back

We loved camping on Wattle Flat site at Breakaway. Very organised and great amenities. We love the fire pits and being amongst the tall gum trees. Its so quiet at night you can hear the ocean in the distance while laying in the swag. Definitely recommend.

Our family had an amazing time at Breakaway Farmstay. The kids were thrilled to feed the goats, and there was plenty of space for them to run and explore. Rob was incredibly helpful and welcoming and Moo’s gin distillery was a treat for the adults! We’ll definitely be back.

Robert's land was just perfect. We had a great time. Having the distillery next door was also quite handy. The hosts were great to deal with, definitely recommend to family & friends

We loved our stay at Wagon Flat, although it was too short. Robert was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our chats. We preferred the unpowered sites among the trees and the animals rather than being by the house and too near other campers. We were a group of three vans and this was our kind of camping. Very convenient location to visit friends in Victor Harbor, ride the Cockle Train and see the area. We would love to return.

While our stay here was only for one night, it was the perfect spot for us! Heading to Kangaroo Island we needed a place to stay the night before, we couldn’t have been happier! Moo’s distillery onsite serving pizzas and gin, a playground and farm animals for kids to interact with, toilets and hot showers we couldn’t ask for more!

Robert’s land was a great camp stay! We had a nice view out at the cows and alpaca. We didn’t have a chance to check out his distillery on site but we will be back to experience next time! There was a clean loo as well. Easy to find and very friendly!

Rob is a friendly welcoming host. We were only there for one night en route to the KI ferry, but it is a peaceful spot and we enjoyed meeting the goats, sheep and seeing kangaroos grazing. Nice clean toilets and the hot shower was an added bonus.

Absolutely beautiful property, so peaceful & quiet! Lots of space around you to really chill out from busy life. Toilet facilities were immaculately clean! A great distillery within walking distance which was very handy & it overlooked the beautiful farm & the animal's. Hosts were very friendly & very accommodating & nothing was too much trouble. Can’t wait to come back again!
