For a true outback experience, you'll find it here. We own a 12,500-acre wheat and cattle station - a wide brown land as far as you can see. With very little light pollution, the night sky is stunning. Campsites permitted in designated areas and there is plenty of free firewood which you are welcome to collect. Campsites are beside the dam, with a nearby camp kitchen which is a great place to enjoy a beer with your fellow travellers. There is also a shared toilet, and pets are welcome. Wi-Fi available As there is so much room. Guests can camp where they like Access is possible for all vehicles as we have just put in a new crushed white rock all weather road to the campsites. Feel free to roam around the property however there are some derelict buildings on our property which are strictly off-bounds and have been signposted as such. We ran a pig hunting business for 35 years and met many wonderful people but we closed that down a few years ago.. we now do not allow our guests to use guns at all.. There are only 2 people here so as we have to look after 12535 acres we do not have time to reserve spots ..drive in and pick your own This is also the reason we have to be ...leave not footprint ... stopovers ...as we do not have time to pick up rubbish Plenty of wood for campfires in the paddocks for you to collect also a friend has cut some wood so its there to buy if you wish ..cold shower at the big dam but hot shower's available at the quarters

These campsites are next to one of our properties largest dams. All sites are flat and spacious, and a short walk from the camp kitchen and toilet and gas shower.. Fires are permitted in designated areas only, and firewood is free to collect from around the property. Access is possible for all vehicles, however if we've had heavy rain, a 4WD is necessary. we have heaps of room so our guests can park where they wish but we have put in 10 all weather sights ..and an all weather road to the dam

I'm glad we stopped over here. Rowen and Greg were great they showed us around the facilities. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves but would have been just as good with company. The facilities were a bit rough around the edges but I think that added to the charm, it had everything you needed to enjoy the sunset. I'd definitely recommend this place to travellers. Was easy to access we had a campervan but would have been fine with a caravan too.

Wandibindle is a breath taking property. The views are stunning both during the day and night! Rowan is an amazing host ensuring everything is set up and showing how to turn on the lights, use the shower both hot and cold water and giving you a brief history of his property with guidance on the best spot to explore. Flushable toilet is also available. Being January we loved the water trough that is turned into a spa to keep us cool and out of the sun. We loved our time at Wandibindle and will definitely be back to enjoy it again.

Wandibindle is a remarkable spot for anyone seeking an authentic outback experience, and it served as the perfect stopover with our horses during our journey through Queensland. The vastness of the 12,500-acre wheat and cattle station is breathtaking – endless stretches of wide brown land as far as the eye can see, offering an incredible sense of solitude and peace. The amenities were spot on, with everything we needed to comfortably care for our horses, making it easy to settle in after a long day on the road. The property's wide open spaces were ideal for the horses to stretch their legs, and the peaceful surroundings made it a relaxing place for us as well. One highlight was the availability of Starlink internet, providing us with fast and reliable connectivity in such a remote location. It was nice to stay connected without compromising on the genuine outback experience. And at night, with minimal light pollution, the stars put on a stunning show—perfect for a peaceful evening after tending to the horses. Wandibindle is a gem in the outback, with great hospitality and a true escape from the everyday.

This is a very peaceful and relaxing camp. Rowan was a great host .was great to have a shower and toilet , camp kitchen and fire pit.

Nice quiet space with amazing views of the dam and stars. Good facilities and a nice warm shower. Hosts were very welcoming and encouraged us to explore the whole property. Would stay there again.

I would like to say bad things about Rowan's property just so I could keep it to myself, but in reality this place is a little gem. Lots of flat ground around the large dam, a good toilet and hot shower, a camp kitchen with free Starlink wi-fi, and as much firewood as you want. Rowan and his offsider Greg are great hosts and allows you free rein

Great little spot. Set up wherever we wanted and we were lucky to be the only ones there. Only the sounds of nature to be heard. Great ammenities that you can use if required. Rowan is great, very helpful and quick communication.

It’s a great little spot. I’m definitely coming back with mates. It’s definitely going to be a repeat place to go camping. The amenities are surprising including internet. Great views and great people.

The Big Dam
We had a wonderful bush camping experience here. So peaceful and quiet watching the many bird species coming to drink in the dam. The view from the dam wall is fabulous overlooking the whole property. Didn't have enough time to explore much but hope to do so in future. Thanks Rowan and Jenny.
