Great place to take our dog, he was free to run and have fun. The toilet block is amazing and very clean plus it has a real shower!! It was very hot and we were so relieved to get there and see there's a covered area, chairs and the table is also under cover.

Pretty surroundings, the location was close to the Gorge, Pinnacle Hotel & Finch Hatton which made for a good day out.
Hot showers & flushing toilets were a treat whilst camping 🏕️ Grounds were a little run down but still had usable picnic tables & shelter.
We were in a group of 5 vehicles/camps & had the entire lower camp to ourselves which was so peaceful.

Finch Hatton great spot for mountain views.
Valley view however, very disappointing. Ground not maintained, rust all over the kids playground. Toilets were very dirty. No soap. Mould on doors and shower curtain. Had no interaction from host. Would not recommend.
Also no sign of the “petting zoo”

Finch Hatton is a lovely place offering beautiful mountain views and the gorge just down the road from valley view. However the camp site itself was very disappointing. Toilets and showers weren’t clean. There were bath mats full of mould hanging up and left. No soap in any dispensers. The ground didn’t look tidy. Playground rusty. Pictures on here looked a lot different than in person. Barking dogs across road all night

A beautiful spot within a green valley. Peaceful, relaxing and close to Finch Hatton Gorge. The facilities were clean. A shower with hot running water and flush toilet. I had difficulty with internet and mobile reception but there are spots on the lower area where you could get a bar or two 4G (my phone is 4G only). No power but I knew that. I was car camping on the upper level, however there was a family with a caravan on the lower level. So both seem workable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Valley View. The views are staggering. Waking up every morning to the sunrise over the nearby hill, the cows next door munching and the trilling of the local birds was glorious. The location is perfect for visiting Finch Hatton Gorge and Eungella. We really appreciated the clean facilities as well.

We loved camping at Valley View. We had the entire top section to ourselves with a hot shower and toilet. The bathroom is basic but functional.
The fire pit was greatly appreciated as the temperature dropped in the evening.
This site has easy access to explore Finch Hatton Gorge.

We camped in the top area, there is a toilet and shower. The views of the mountains are beautiful and it’s very quiet. We were alone which was a bonus. The bottom area isn’t as private and closer to the road, but there’s very little traffic. It’s a beautiful spot.

What a wonderful spot. The girls (2 toy cavoodles) & I had a great stay overnight in our campervan. Nicely kept lawn, spacious & dogs are allowed off lead. Hot shower felt amazing. We’ll totally be back & maybe even next week :)

So amazing. We stayed at the valley view campground. The views were amazing. It’s so nice to be able to have a slice of the Daintree that is dog friendly. A walk to the waterfall was a highlight, clear swimming water which is perfect in the heat. Highly recommend this place for any hip campers passing through

A great camping site, big grassy area and choose your spot. Excellent base to visit Finch Hatton Gorge and Eungella National Park from. Right out in the country. The amenities were OK but needed a good clean and tidy up. Never saw Kassie or anyone else apart from fellow campers for the two days we were there.

We spent a quiet night at Valley View, although the area was next to the road, hardly any cars came past after dark. Cattle next door were inquisitive.
Bathroom was clean, with a welcome hot shower, we were the only ones there on Friday night.

There was plenty of flat ground to park our caravan. Nice to have flushing toilets, a hot shower a shaded picnic area with tables and chairs too. Very handy to get to the walks at the gorge.

Finch Hatton Gorge is a beautiful place , however ValleyView is a rural area next to the road. The lower camp ground was too wet and the upper one has very little level ground for vans. The facilities were adequate, but hadn't recently been cleaned; I thing we're a bit "out of season".

Lovely grassy camp. Amenities were amazing. We thought the camp would have been a little bigger and not right off the road although, it was a good spot for 2 nights. The sunsets were beautiful.

Campsite had a nice shower and toilets. HOWEVER, be aware if you’re booking during rainy/off season the campsite gets extremely boggy!! Our van got stuck in the mud and there is no signal. Eventually we found someone to help but we were also informed that the owners probably weren’t there and most of the houses surrounding the campsite were empty holiday homes!
