Hidden Gem near Noosa

Amazing camp, the photos do not do it justice. Heaps of room even for larger rigs. Toilets, showers, dump point and even a dog wash. Extremely well kept and amazing birdlife. Would thoroughly recommend.

Highly recommend The Kellys at Doonan, we thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay. Large grassy sites, beautifully maintained with privacy, all secured behind a locked gate. It's the perfect location, close to Noosa, Coolum and Eumundi Markets. Steve is a wonderful host, we are looking forward to catching up again on our next stay at The Kellys...

We really loved camping on Steve's property, it's a quality setup with lots of space. Really close to Noosa and other beaches. Highly recommend for both tent and RV camping.

Simply Beautiful

Thank you both for having us stay at your beautiful property, Steve and Kelli are the hosts with the most, the property is pristine, peaceful and private. The dam was perfect for a cool down and the row boat was a lot of fun. The amenities are spotless. We will be back to enjoy more of this beautiful hidden gem :)

Gem of a camp

We loved The Kelly's. We stayed for a week. Steve was so friendly and helpful. On arrival he met us and took us to our site. It was bucketing down and he stood there until we had backed in. There was a nice little crusher dust raised pad we could put a mat on and stay out of the water. There was clean bore water near by thr site if we wanted to use it. The property is beautifully manicured and well looked after. There are toilets, showers and a dump point, however we did not need to use them. The bird life around the dams is lovely. There is also a communal fire pit and little picnic tables dotted around. There is also bins including can recycling. We had a brief swim in one of the dams but it was a tad too shallow for us. The property is close to all things Noosa. You can hear the motorway a little during the day but it was certainly not an issue. I would happily go back, to enjoy the tranquillity and also to see what Steve will do with the grounds in the future. The Kellys is a must stay 👌😍

I had some mixed feelings writing this review. Yes, the site is really beautiful, far from any city noise, really awesome. The owner however should put it on the description that guests should arrive before 18h. he talked (really unpleaseantly) for 5 minutes, killing all the motorhome vibe (2 couples, both pregnants), about how COMMONSENSE it is to arrive before 18h. I arrived at exactley 19:51 (not late at all, if you sleep before this you should look for a treatment or leave it pretty clear on the description that no late check ins are allowed). So yeah, i stayed 20 days at australia, did 3500km of roadtripping, and the ONLY problem of all the trip was this 5 minutes lecture talking. If it is commomnsense to arrive before 18h, no one else even told me that, during this 3500kms.

Site 3 - Easy Access Parking Sites

We have been in our van for 2 years and this was our last camp in the Van. We can honestly say this was the best camp site we’ve been to. Steve was a great host and willing to help to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. The grass is next level lush!! The ground, toilets showers were all clean and high level for a camp ground. Close to everything yet Peaceful and many beautiful places on the land to camp. When we get another camper we will back. We have kids and they had a great time. Thank you Steve and Wife for creating such a great camp site.

The best hipcamp we have stayed at. A beautiful property that had great facilities and friendly hosts. Sites were very well spaced allowing privacy for the different campers and photos were accurate of where we stayed. Distance was close to Noosa . Definitely would stay here again. We even had campfire with our fellow campers , Steve and Kelli.

Immaculate camp ground.

Fantastic spot with immaculately kept grounds. Highly recommend a stay at the Kelly's for a comfortable camp ground, plenty of shady trees, each site is roomy with beautiful grass. Easy access dump point and bore water (not yet potable). We would be very happy to stay at The Kelly's again. Host Steve is very friendly. Great place to stay for access to Noosa and the north Sunshine Coast beaches. Shopping is only a few minutes drive away.

Great set up that suited us as location half way between Noosa and Coolum. Plus the Doonan Hotel is only a couple of klm’s away. Bonus! Sites are awesome , flat and with plenty of room. Kellie & Steve couldn’t have been more helpful- we will be back.

Had a great stay, the park is so beautifully kept and steve is very welcoming. So much space for the kids and dog. Dump Point on site and clean portaloos. So much better than the busy caravan parks!!! Well booked for one night but stayed 2, only 15 mins or so from Noosa. Well done 👍

We loved staying at the Kellys. The propery is very well maintained and the location is great. We had a number of things to do in the Eumundi/Noosa region and the Kellys was a great place to base. We could see the other campers but so much room we couldnt hear them. Little bit of noise from nearby roads but very quiet and peacful otherwise, we didnt expect to find such a rural secluded spot that close to Noosa. Steve was a great host. Friendly, welcoming and helpful. Will definately be our go to campground in the area from here on in.

A cracking camp!

We’ve stayed at more than 40 hipcamps and this ranks in the top 2 or 3 for many reasons. A surprise package on a manicured 22 Acre by the owners Steve and Kellie. There’s bore water on site, it’s 10 Mins to Eumundi and 15 minutes to Noosa. It’s quiet, peaceful and yet a stones throw from everything. Secured behind gates with so many different sites to choose from. I cant recommend this highly enough, it is a credit to the owners.

Steve is on a mission to build a paradise for all of his guests and he’s done an amazing job! The property is beautiful with dams, bird life, and tranquillity. Hot showers and toilets were amazing. Steve is beyond welcoming and we enjoyed sharing stories and a beer with him. We booked three nights and extended as we loved it so much. Steve is constantly improving the property and we can’t wait to come back after our travels and see what he’s been up to. Thanks so much for having us Steve and Kelli! Accommodating on Arrival. Very clean and well looked after site and was quite relaxing sitting under the awning looking out to the ponds. Will definitely stay here again in the future when passing through.

Site 3 - Easy Access Parking Sites

We really enjoyed staying at The Kelly’s. Locked gate access, open space with plenty of room per site, lovely small scenic dams with bird life to watch. 10 minutes to either Noosa or Eumundi. Base yourself for a weekend or a week to allow time to explore. They even have a dump point and soon to include bush showers in the future. What a great site for the Sunshine Coast.

This was our second stay at this property. We love how spacious and well maintained it is. Easy day out to Coolum and Noosa, and then come home to a relaxing sit in the shade by the dam. Nice to be able to have a fire (fire ban was lifted just in time for us) and a camp oven hot potato! Thanks Steve and Kel for your hospitality once again.
