The Croft provides a quiet place to sit relax and take in the fresh air. We With 49 species of birds and clear skies above at night to shine a light on how big the universe is. We are also home to endangered GREATER GLIDERS at The Croft! You will have a 5-acres to explore during your visit with a large flat campsite area with power and water if that is what you need. The onsite caravan – BETTY – is available for you if you need a bit more of a glamping holiday. Toilet is a composting toot. Self sufficient sites are available as well in another part of The Croft property near the dam and is accessed via the main property. Options for visitors are tailored for the horse rider however you don’t need a horse to visit and enjoy what The Croft has to offer. You can also spend time with the horses here with a variety of experiences available as extras and as part of package deals and our flag ship Back in the Saddle retreat option. There are many things to do in Blackbutt as well as spending some time at The Croft. Every 3rd Sunday is our market day, the renowned Blackbutt Bakery is always at your disposal and a great pub for a pub grub night. The horse trails network is 500m up the road and has signage with town 1 hour ride away which I can take you on a ride to on the 3rd Sunday Market Day! I have access to the rail trail via private property, or otherwise you can utilise Staines Road to get into Benarkin State Forestry or the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Dogs are also welcome who are well behaved and on a leash if others have horses with them. Please note that you MUST ensure your dog has tick prevention prior to arrival. Bookings require pre approval please. This is non negotiable to prepare for your stay. All welcome to visit and please enjoy a campsite that will only ever have 2 bookings at a time in the 1 acre camping area. THIS IS THE AUSSIE BUSH so please if you cant handle smells and snakes, try the HYATT in NOOSA!

Welcome to Blackbutt and the South Burnett Region and a private campground for you and your group. The Croft is a space for you to stay knowing that it will only ever be you staying at the one time. If you want to bring friends and come as a group, please let me know so I can adjust the platform to accommodate. This is to ensure that you have a peaceful and relaxing time without a heap of other people around. Prices for the campsite are PER CARAVAN of 2 people. There is however capacity for up to 4 caravans if you wish to have a holiday with friends or family. Known for the fantastic outdoor recreation opportunities such as the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and the Bicentennial National Trail both are easily accessible from the property and the Blackbutt trails network 400m up the road. This is a basic outdoor camping experience in the rural residential suburb of Blackbutt North. The property in a rural residential suburb. If you want a big camping experience, the Blackbutt Showgrounds is the place for you. Electricity is provided and there is access to drinking water, a composting toilet, fridge and COLD shower in the shed. Self contained however is preferred with a convenient 'dump' site near the showgrounds in town for you to use on your way to your next destination. There is access to rubbish facilities. Breakfast hampers are also available to add to your booking. Horse riders are welcomed with yards and water provided. Please bring enough feed for them or drop into the Blackbutt Hardware on the way and support our local small businesses. If you bring your own horse and an experienced rider you can book a guided tour or find your way along to the Forestry or to the Bicentennial National Trail which is just a short ride away. Check out the extras if you need a guide for your trail rides. No loud groups please as this is adjacent to my home and peace and quiet is why I live here. Non smokers ONLY. Other than that please enjoy the space and time away in a very quiet part of the world. There are also lots of birds on the block including kingfishers, wrens, finches and lots more. There is a billabong style dam which horses are most welcome to play in. Dogs who are VERY friendly and willing to play with a border collie are most welcome.

This is for a powered sites adjacent to the horse yards - which is included in this price. Water is also included for both horse and human. Price is per person and horse as it includes horse yard. If you need a toilet please add this to the booking. The onsite toilet is in the shed close to the campsite and is only a composting toilet. A camp cold shower is also available for your use and provided if requested. Feel free to bring your own. The campsite is located in a 1 acre camp area. If there are no other campers feel free to allow your horse to roam in your camp area during the day. No smoking and no loud music as this is also my retreat space!

Nearly 50 species of birds have been identified here, aswell as goannas and carpet pythons all live at The Croft in Blackbutt. Horses welcome or meet mine. If you are more a horse person who likes a bed at night and air conditioning if summer - then BETTY the onsite caravan is for you. She has kitchen facilities, outdoor picnic table, tea coffee, composting toilet and camp shower facilities in the adjacent shed. Betty also has air conditioning. This booking also includes a horse yard for you which is 6 x 3 meters. Extras are available including lessons and obstacle course as well as some guided trail riding options.

Betty is your basic retro caravan with 2 single beds. (Kitchen facilities, outdoor picnic table, tea coffee, composting toilet and camp shower facilities in the adjacent shed. Betty also has air conditioning) a. Non horse guest - $42 b. Horse guest- includes one horse yard - $45 It is fully fitted out with crockery and glassware as well as all the things you need for a glass of wine looking out over your private bush setting. BYO linen is preferred as we are a bit short on water here again. Composting toilet is located adjacent to Betty in the shed. There is an awning and a contained fire pit. Bookings are flat rate per night. Sleeps 2 with single bed accommodation. Oh shes is air conditioned as well!. Great holiday option.

Back in the Saddle retreats are just that. If you have been out of the saddle or have lost confidence in riding this is for you! This price is per day! If you wish to have extra days, I will include additional lesson time. Reconnecting with the crazy horse girl you were and still are and gain that confidence back you once had while also relaxing and grounding yourself in nature and peaceful surrounds. Accommodation is Glamping Onsite Caravan Accommodation THIS is with a Horse Trax Oz Horse hire and lessons as follows: Horse time: 3 hours one on one sessions over the 24 hours of your stay. 1 hour – horse health, care and connection. 1 hour – led obstacles and groundwork exercises. 1 hour – ridden obstacles and trail ride onsite lesson. You also can spend one on one time with Horse Trax Oz horses during your stay as they are most happy to hang out with you in the open campsite area. Your time: Use this time to regenerate in the onsite caravan glamping accommodation. This includes the Breakfast Basics and Campfire Starter kit. Every guest also receives a complimentary sketch book and outdoor mats to spend in nature while you are here and a bird identification brochure.
